Tottenham fans although not completely sad should be celebrating more the win over Watford had Westham not won their own game, unfortunately, it seems their efforts won't be reflected on the table. I sincerely feel that next season on the EPL will be tougher with all the top teams seeming to have found a great form and playing so well with their new and already existing coaches.
The biggest game of the day was obviously Arsenal - Manchester City. And to be honest, I was having zero expectation about Arsenal to play better than their opponent. They really deserved to win this game. For the people who weren't able to watch the game, I would say that you shouldn't be misled by the statistics. Arsenal were the team that played very solid. Manchester City had a really big difficulty against them. And if it weren't for the red card, I believe that Arsenal still would have got ahead again and won the game. I think that Manchester City got an undeserved win by 2-1.
I have to say it is really not that much of a fair game when the ref is clearly supporting one side. Arsenal was butchered on this game, the whole league is defending City like it is their duty, I am starting to consider with all these shady black money going on in football, maybe we should have people auditing refs and their whole family to see what's going on.I am not saying that City couldn't win, they were the better team normally and they had the roster to beat Arsenal 4-0 if they were on their day, they are THAT good. However, this game Arsenal played better and ref just screwed them up. Martinelli played one of the best performances I have ever seen, he was like a supertar and I feel like he has an amazing future as well.
Today we saw why City is the best team in the world. And certainly the Premier League. Not playing great, but still managed to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 1-2 victory. You can say it's luck that the goal came in injury time, I think it has to do with the quality of the players of this team. It is not a coincidence that City managed to turned the tables.
Man city controlled the game after Arsenal played with ten players. Even Man CIty passed 72% of the ball in the second half. They put arsenal players in the defensive line. Man City's game is the same they rely on short passes to have the ball. Man City certainly have to thank Rodri he became a hero thanks to a goal in Extra time. With this excitement, Man City are getting calmer with a gap of eleven points from Chelsea.

Well, Arsenal did their best, but again, Manchester City is Unbeatable so far. Man City really can satisfy their fans and everyone who support so far by offering his real power, not being defeated in many matches and completely defeating Arsenal in which is also a big club with that score of 2-1. Actually, Arsenal has played very well and become more eminent by scoring the first goal through Saka in the 31st minute. We can see if Arsenal were very passionate and played very well at that time. Until a goal from Man City also shot into the Arsenal goal and equalized.

It wasnt actually small though, it was around 1.5x and that was decent enough because City was the clear favourites to win. Pep wont be content with anything less than 3 points so they would win for sure although fans were most likely sweating because there wasnt any indication that there will be any more goal after it hits the 90th minutes mark

they should at least have to reshuffle their midfielders in this transfer window because if you look at their creations, they are very lacking in this season.

I was really disappointed to see Arsenal losing that match after seeing them performing that much awesome. Gabriel shouldn't have got those yellow cards. It was really amateurish from him in a critical match like this. Because after this red card, Arsenal were really helpless against Manchester City. They still did a very good job by keeping the score at 1-1 for a long time but the goal came in the stoppage time devastated Arsenal. And I hope that Arsenal don't get affected in a bad way by this loss too much and they can continue to win on the coming weeks.

Man City showed a winning mentality in the match against Arsenal, Man City fell behind to Arsenal and struggled in the second half to score.
At last Man City's hard work paid off, Man City equalized to 1-1 after Riyad Mahrez scored a goal in the 57th minute through a penalty kick.

Today match show that Antonio Conte was right when he said Tottenham needs to work in this January transfer window and Tottenham problem won't be solved with one transfer window.watching the game today I think spurs need a new RWB to provide competition for Emerson Royal and another very good striking to make Harry Kane and Son up their games, moving out Deli Alli and Tanguy Ndombele, Doherty should not be delayed in this window they are occupying space.
The words are right, but in relation to the purchased players it is wrong. They will simply be used as leverage, even if they play better than those on the roster. I don't know how it happened that Tottenham barely won today, and in the 96th minute, but they actually deserve it.

Arsenal impressed me with the fight they put up against Manchester city in a match we all knew of the outcome to come.... But a lose of 2-1 shows arsenal have really improved after a spell that almost got their current manager fired, big improvement for them hope Manchester united can also catch them after this drop of points.
Arsenal defeat was expected but I would say that resisting vs City until the end of the match although playing with 10 players is something impressive. They did their best and they should be proud of their performance tho. West Ham and Spurs won their games with 1 goal difference. Regarding the difference in games played, the table will be different in the next rounds.
Even with Arsenal scoring first and happen to be the only team to score in the entire first half, Manchester city still came back from behind to win them 2 goals to one as they did PSG in the champions league, that's is how solid pep guardiola's Manchester city can be I think it's getting boring right now that no premier league team can match them anymore, right now any time Manchester doesn't win the league which would be rare they are mostly likely very close to the winners, well we are in the second half of the season let's see what happens.
