I also didn't expect Arsenal to be able to break into the top 5 this season, because at the start of the season they looked unpromising, which their performance was poor, and they had to struggle at the bottom of the table (even Mikel Arteta was rumored to be sacked). But now they have started to show their claws, their performance looks stable and consistent and they have a solid defense. If they could keep that form, it's possible that they will be able to climb to 3rd place or even 2nd place.
Looking at Arsenal's consistency in winning match I think they have a chance to do it before the end of the season, of course if Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool are not at their best.

Tottenham still have a chance to get into the top 4 as they still have 3 match postponed so far. Arsenal and Tottenham points are also not far apart so if Tottenham win then they will pass Arsenal. Tottenham's maximum points if they win 3 postponed match is 38, which is bigger than Arsenal's current points. But maybe the situation can change if Tottenham are not able to win everything.
Yeah .. everyone underestimating arsenal as rhey had a very slow start and a struggle winning , but they did make us forget until they showed up on top 5 lol , it could also because the hype of cristiano joining manchester united and got a good start so everyone focus are on the red devil while arsenal sneaking slowly but steady, look where they are now ... arsenal on 4th and manchester united 7th.

despite yeah manchester united had 3 matches suspended which if they clear all the 9 points available rhey could pass arsenal.

Finally chelsea made it back to winning after two games even when the first half was equal between them and aston villa they managed to take control of the situation on the second half and they won 3 1 but unfortunatly man city team won and they are still in the lead with six points away.
After Reece James' own goal I saw Chelsea's game getting tougher and lucky in minute 34' Frello managed to equalize and scored again in minute 93'

man city is a formidable opponent of course, it's only natural that they get 6 points in the match against leicester

It was a great day for the top teams in the standings except West Ham. Because they lost to Southampton 3-2 home. West Ham never managed to get ahead even once. They just desperately tried to equalize the score all the time. But after getting ahead the third time, Southampton succeeded in keeping their score advantage until the referee blowed the final whistle. West Ham already had a bad form lately and this caused them to be in even a more troubling condition.

Arsenal really performed well in today match to defeated Norwich 5:0 without struggle to win the match. Even Manchester city defeated Leicester 6:3 that is still making them to be the top of the time table. Chelsea also won their match 3:1 that is making people to talk that Chelsea point will drop for their next match if they lose. Those team that played today ,it was not easy for them to become Victory in their matches today.

Arsenal have been fishing behind the net for a few years. They used to have years where they always competed in the Champions League, that time seems a long way off. The top in England has also become stronger in width. I wish Arsenal to be at the top, but I don't think it will be easy. Perhaps the objective should simply be European Football based on league performance.

It is not easy for Arsenal to reach the top and stand above Man City or Liverpool. For this year it won't be too big and needs some pretty solid player transfer windows again. Arsenal throughout the game they always try to give the best performance. This time they have shown it all. Just as a dark horse next to Chelsea.

I doubt it, because the 2-3 places are also powerful guys, I think it will be decided by the joint matches, if the points are roughly equal in the table, but otherwise I think they have no chance to climb to such positions, even with such a confident game, unfortunately. But you do have to admit that they are off to a good start after a poor start

No, I'm not sure about that. Chelsea and Liverpool are teams that will not make Arsenal's dream come true. Maybe they can end the season in 4th place in the table and qualify for the Champions League next season. But no one is willing to bet on Arsenal against teams like Manchester City, Chelsea or Liverpool. Arsenal are not going to win with a top team [perhaps little chance of winning] and that's their problem to get to 2 or 3 at the moment.

Boxing Day has been going on great! We have started with many high-scoring games to the day. Manchester City v Leicester was a really superb one. It ended by a 6-3 victory for Manchester City and I definitely wasn't expecting this many goals. Arsenal demolished Norwich away also by 5-0. These were the most attention getting games for me. And now, Chelsea are 2-1 ahead thanks to Lukaku's entering the game in the second half and scoring right away.
A passionate boxing day for EPL lovers Cheesy how can it not be that in just 2 matches arsenal vs norwich and City vs Leicester there were at least 14 goals that were created.
This is of course very surprising because I really believe that City and Arsenal can beat their opponents but did not expect such a big score to happen on this boxing day.

Now Brighton and Brentford are playing and the first half has finished with a 2 goal advantage of brighton.
whether in this match there will also be a striking score? I think the possibility is still high because Brighton has almost mastered the game

Today's games were really awesome. There were so many goals, I never expected this many. Manchester city-Leicester match scored 4 goals in the first 25 minutes. In the second half, Leichester started well, Maddison and Iheannacho showed extra performance, but the goal difference was too big. After Leichester stopped, City started scoring goals again, which I enjoyed watching. I haven't had a chance to watch the other matches though. They has been in great form at Arsenal in the last few weeks.

It seems that almost all the favorite teams won in their respective matches today. Manchester City and Arsenal won by more goals than Tottenham and Chelsea. Only West Ham should have won but ended up losing vs Southampton 2-3.

West Ham in the spotlight for losing at home somehow they wasted a chance while competing with arsenal really disappointing
On the other hand Tottenham move up to 5th place also have some matches postponed if Tottenham can use it of course they can catch Arsenal.

I was wrong about that Leicester would score only one goal the most. In the second half of the game, Leicester were nearly performing a miracle against Manchester City. The score was just 4-3 from 4-0 in only ten minutes. Maybe they still lost by conceding two more goals but I still appreciated their high effort in this half. Because in the first half, there was a pure domination of Manchester City.
City was confident and Leicester used that in its favor but at the end City was determined to win and 6 goals to 3 was hard to swallow for Leicester's fans.
Today, the favorite teams won big except West Ham which continues with the negative results and they will lose another place in the ranking by tomorrow for ManU.

Former Liverpool legend football player, now Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard, has coronavirus. The impact of the coronavirus is increasing in the UK. This virus, which is caught in football players, affects the whole life negatively. Premier League matches were postponed, Tottenham were eliminated from the conference league for not playing. I look forward to the days when life will be the same as before. Tonight, Aston Villa will play Chelsea missing from Gerrard.
Not only Liverpool versus Leeds United that was cancelled, two others have also been cancelled, vis Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace and Burnley vs Everton has been cancelled as well. I was very excited that I will watch Liverpool's match but now cancelled. Let us hope the Omicron cases will also reduce.

There are still 6 EPL matches today, I am looking forward to watch Manchester City's, Arsenal's and Chelsea's matches. But just that I do not have much confidence in Chelsea yet, hopefully the club might perform good today.
I am guessing that there will be more and more games keep getting cancelled in the shorter term as well. I do not expect spring to be this loaded, but this winter will be quite difficult if you ask me. I hope that everything goes well and everyone gets back to full health, I mean we had football during covid for the past whole year and nothing happened too drastically, everything was fine and nobody got seriously sick and no games were cancelled back to back like this.

Not like we got covid right now, it is not a brand new thing, it has been around for a while and we had a full year of football last season with covid and we didn't had any period like what we are going through right now. This new thing is very scary and it is really stopping all life once again. I hope we figure something out and we get better or if not then we should put a halt on the season for a month and come back later.

What a superb day for Manchester City and Arsenal especially! Because they obtained really perfect victories today against Leicester and Norwich respectively. In fact, Manchester City finished their opponent in the first half already by bringing the score to 4-0. However, Leicester were in no intention to give up and the second half was just something very special. They scored three consecutive goals in ten minutes (55', 59', 65'). And suddenly, it was 4-3! But I really admire Manchester City's calmness that they still scored two more goals and won by 6-3.

And Arsenal had a great game against Norwich. In this away game for them, they had everything under control in the first and second half both. And they obliterated Norwich by 5-0. Now, Arsenal have a winning streak of four games in the Premier League.

Speaking of the boxing day to be great, I think Arsenal always have good luck whenever they play on the boxing day and I could remember when they beat Chelsea 3-1 in last years boxing day game in the Premier League.
What amazed me is that A. Lacazette scored a penalty and Bukayo Saka was also among the goal scorer in last years boxing day game.

I believe it is now a tradition of the Gunners Grin

Actually I never expected Leicester to lose by more than 3 goals to Manchester City today. Very poor defense is why they conceded 6 goals. I think if Schmeichel didn't make a great save then City totally destroyed Leicester by more than 7 goals today. Luckily Leicester can teach City to defend better with 3 goals back in a short time.

We watched an incredible match between Manchester City and Leicester today. Like most people expected, Manchester City started dominating the match and taking control of it from the beginning of match already. They scored 2 very early goals first and it was 4-0 in the 25th minute already. The first half ended by this score and I considered it already an easy win for City. However, Leicester were nearly making an insane comeback in the second half. They managed to bring the score to 4-3 by a great effort. But City still weren't out of discipline and finished them off by an incredible 6-3 score.

The 6-3 score for Man City was extraordinary. The players achieved their best performance in a short period of time and were able to bounce back under pressure. Doing a lot of penetration into the opponent's goal made the Leicester players experience a lot of unexpected pressure. Throughout the game, Manchester City had a kick accuracy of around 94% compared to Leicester, which was only 86%. So IMO, what Leicester has done is pretty good even though they lost, they still matched a little in terms of passing accuracy.
