how can it not be that in just 2 matches arsenal vs norwich and City vs Leicester there were at least 14 goals that were created.
This is of course very surprising because I really believe that City and Arsenal can beat their opponents but did not expect such a big score to happen on this boxing day.

Now Brighton and Brentford are playing and the first half has finished with a 2 goal advantage of brighton.

Today's games were really awesome. There were so many goals, I never expected this many. Manchester city-Leicester match scored 4 goals in the first 25 minutes. In the second half, Leichester started well, Maddison and Iheannacho showed extra performance, but the goal difference was too big. After Leichester stopped, City started scoring goals again, which I enjoyed watching. I haven't had a chance to watch the other matches though. They has been in great form at Arsenal in the last few weeks.

In the early half Leicester always made mistakes in their own area and this was punished with 2 penalties which were indeed very detrimental.
they seemed unprepared in the first half which left them with a margin of 3 goals.
actually in the second half they were quite good and even almost equalized but their communication was interrupted again in the 70th minute until the end of the whistle which made them lose quite badly

Honestly that's mainly because 1 game was postponed for Liverpool and City wasn't and they won that game. Normally just a week before they were around the same points, then Liverpool got a tie, and now Liverpool is one game behind. If Liverpool plays that game soon, which I am sure they will play eventually but don't know when, then the difference is literally just 3 points which is not a major difference. If City gets like just one loss then they are at the same point difference.

The sad reality of EPL these years is that Liverpool and city wins so many games that whoever ends up losing even one game, ends up losing the season, last year City had like 50000 game winning streak or something like that, how could you be ready for something like that? Obviously Liverpool was bad last year but even if they were good, they wouldn't be enough to beat City last season anyway.

Some seasons ago,with Antonio Conte management,as manager of Chelsea they failed to qualify for the Champions League and got to play back to back premier league games.
They ended as Champions of English premier league,all I'm saying is that Arsenal can still repeat same likewise,the major fear is Thomas Partey's loss to Afcon, if they can get a replacement for him they'll go far.
I hope they get to win this, didn't expect them to come this far.

Tuchel will face with his first New year tournament in Premier League and this period will be decisive for Chelsea and Tuchel. He did not face with similar fixture in any league he has worked so far from Bundesliga to Ligue I. Only Premier League don't have break in Christmas and New year holidays. Tuchel has to do his management for resource allocation very well. If he fails, Chelsea might not only get bad result in New year tournament but also might get unexpected injuries which will affect their performance in rest of season.

Premier League is very interesting in this season. Big clubs are managing to get top positions and more important, there are less serious injured cases than in the past season. So the rest of season will be more exciting with race among three clubs: Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. Who will win this competition? Will it be Manchester City again?

Lukaku just had a very good when he destroyed opponent defense.

It is believed that half of the season is over. Each team will play 19/20 more matches. There is still a long journey to go. It is very difficult to maintain continuity in so many matches. I still think Manchester United have a chance to win the title, although they are far behind City in the points table.

I think the latest number of games that have been postponed because of covid is 14 in total now. It is getting out of hand but the league management seems like doing everything they can? And also if they have a big break, I think more people would complain more.

But at the end, I also reckon Man City is the biggest favourite for championship. Liverpool sure will give them a hard time but my money is on Man City.

Newcastle is in bad form and they have always lost in their last 3 matches, so I think Man United should not have trouble beating Newcastle. Moreover, Man United has had quite a long rest time, so it is certain that they will have better stamina than Newcastle and they can play with the full squad against Newcastle.

Most likely Ronaldo will score again, and Man United will win by a score of 2-0.
