Leicester - Chelsea is the opening match this time. And I must admit that it is an interesting one. Chelsea is the favourite side here obviously considering their recent performance comparison. We were very accustomed to see Leicester at top places for some years and now it is worrying to see them struggling to climb to upper positions. And Chelsea would like to take advantage of their current weakness. Leicester's last big home match was against Arsenal and they lost 2-0. If they don't make an effort for getting a better result, they are likely to lose this match too.

Leicester City lost to Arsenal in that match because they didn't have control of the shooting at any point in time. They didn't have enough accuracy and also didn't make enough good chances converted. Counter attacking didn't also work out very well for them. They almost head double the possession and also had almost double shots on target. Birthday could not convert them into goals. I think they need to work on their conversion rate if they won to win against Chelsea in the upcoming match.

Liecester has really tried for past seasons after lifting EPL. These guys have been somewhat consistent even more than big clubs such that they could even be classified as big team. They are used to selling their key players and still succeed. But this time around,  it didn't work. There is time for everything. They are should maintain and finish the league moderately, next season they can restrategize.

Leicester should change coaches, Rodgers hasn't been able to get the team into the top 3/4 for 3 years. We are dancing around the same thing, the last two seasons we have finished in 5th place, time to be in the top 3. What's more, they can't even play well in the Europa League, unfortunately... And if you look at it, there are no transfers that would be very useful...
Do you think changing coaches would make leicester city better today?
I don't think so, because I think Brendan Rogers has done a good job so far, the proof is that last season they were able to appear quite solid in the league despite failing to break into the big four, I saw after losing Wesley Fofana in last pre-season, now the Leicester defense is no longer strong And I think the loss of photana has had a huge effect on Leicester this season.
Even if leicester city has to change coaches, then who do you think is the right candidate to replace brendan?

It looks like Leicester are no longer playing as usual against big clubs. Usually they are able to match the opponent's game. Instead, Arsenal are increasingly showing an increase in performance and are starting to catch up. Just look at Arsenal game which is getting neater by trying to open the position of the side of the attack. There has been an reshuffle that the coach has made carefully knowing Leicester weaknesses.

Last year Leicester City almost finish on the top four position and have bigger chance back to participant on champion league but last two match they not consistent and should finish above top four position and just get chance participated on Europe league. I believe with Roger have more opportunity for Leicester City can get dreaming back where ever success got primer league trophy and I see Roger have many chance to make Leicester City become most danger club on primer league.

As I recall, when Arsenal fell, their coach was also faced with the possibility of being sacked. Fortunately, Arteta can fix these problems and can even bring Arsenal into the top 5 for the time being. If Man United had kept Ole, then Ole could have followed in Arteta's footsteps because Man United actually has a lot of good players but for that, he had to do his best.

I think Ole has almost the same story as Sir Alex Ferguson when he first came to Man United. Sir Alex took 4 years to get his first trophy for Man United, and it took 7 years to win the EPL. What makes a difference, Sir Alex has proven to the world that he is a really great coach (giving many trophies to Man United), whereas Ole still hasn't managed to do it.
Right now, Arsenal is at 5th position, right? This team was at the bottom of the league for the starting weeks. Which means that if they are capable of being at the top with the same roster, then it should not be acceptable to be at the bottom as well.

I get why they were considering firing Arteta, now we have data to prove that they were good enough to be 5th at the very start as well, during that start if they got 1-2 more wins right now they would have been around the top, literally at the top maybe? So that start was unacceptable and if they failed to do the latest weeks like this, then he would be gone for sure, there is no doubt in my mind at all.

I think it’s a big risk for Gerrard to go to Aston Villa as they’re not in a great position. I suppose he has to take that step up though if he’s got his eyes on Klopp’s job when he finishes at LFC. I hope he does well, maybe Villa fans don’t expect too much this season though. Avoiding a relegation battle at the end of the season would probably be a success for Gerrard.

I think that might be just the soft spot for him at this point in time. He had to leave Scotland to progress his career, he did a great job at Rangers but you can only do so much there with limited budgets and a small pool of players.

Aston Villa is a decent club with a decent roster and a huge history. I feel confident they've got enough quality to easily stay in the league and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of job Gerrard will do there. As you said - that's already a decent test for the Liverpool job - Rangers was far from it.

their performance is quite chaotic this season even from the last 5 matches they have never won a match and only kept losing.
on the other hand it is a challenge for gerrard to at least keep them away from the relegation zone as they are now in 16th position.
On the other hand, when Gerrard is at this club, I think it will trigger quite a heated upheaval among Liverpool fans at this time because Gerrard is indeed one of their legendary players and is considered a loyal player while playing at Liverpool.

^ Well, taking the duty of manager of a team which is currently at the 16th place on the table is really hard and also challenging. Aston villa doesn't have a very good squad also right now, to be honest. That could be a problem for the team. And I wonder how much it's gonna affect the team getting a new manager instead of planning for a better squad. Yes, I know that a manager can build up the chemistry between the players and all but you need better players to play better football. But I think this team will do better under new management.

The need to improve the performance of the team is indeed a heavy duty of the coach, his credibility is determined by Indicatoe to what extent he is able to bring his team to the top of the standings. The primary league is currently so hard in management, there are many coaches that are fired due to dissatisfaction with their team results. If at this time he was in London for Aston, so I was sure his main strategy replaced several players and there must be something from Liverpool because of the potential of several Liverpool players who would have expired as well. To improve the future performance.

STEPHEN GERRARD TO ASTON VILLA

Nice one that England is being much more competitive. There's no doubt that Gerrard will do well. Some notable players will join him for sure. While we are all expecting Newcastle to do wonders, Aston Villa can take us all by surprise come next season.
Every club us amending and paying compensations while Manchester United is keeping Ole and playing mind game with the fans. The end will surely justify the means.

I have no doubt he is a great former player, he is also a player who is loyal to the club. Just look from the junior to senior team about 26 years he remains with Liverpol. He was also a success of the liverpol academy. After retiring from Liverpol he was only at La Galaxy for one season. After that with Rangers he won the Scottish League season 2020/2021 it was the first title since he as coach. It's a pretty good achievement, I'm waiting for him to compete with Ole, otherwise he's the same age as him.
Personally it Would have been better Gerrald spend more seasons with Ranger before taking up any EPL job though he has a good record with Ranger, however taking up the job as Aston Villa Manager now would be very challenging job knowingly that EPL is very competitive, how better is he compared to sacked Smith? recall how Lampard was hurriedly signed by Chelsea at the end he was sacked as a result streaks of losses and underperformance, presently Aston Villa is 16th on the table with two points above relegation teams thus he will have to battle against relegation.

There is no better time for Gerrard to come to English Premier League than now. We all know that the target is Liverpol Fc and not Aston Villa. But before he will begin to aim Liverpol job, his CV must include his success in EPL.
The case of Lampard was different, he went straight to Chelsea instead of small club, that was why it turned out that way.
If Gerrard will be able to escape relegation this season, it's already a plus to his career.
I wish him very well.

It is a really nice signing for Aston Villa. Steven Gerrard is a Premier League legend as all people know this. Aston Villa have been through a really tough period of time in the Premier League in the recent times. They needed to take important actions to make things right. And this is definitely a good start. They are not a weak team normally and they deserve the better. I hope to see the team rising with the help of Gerrard.

Since the start of this season's EPL journey, so far
Five managers have been sacked.
They are;
Xisco Munoz.          - Watford
Nuno Espirito Santo.   - Tottenham Hotspur
Steve Bruce.     -  Newcastle United
Daniel Farke.    -  Norwich City
Dean Smith.     - Aston Villa .
Tension!
Who do you think will make the number six?
It's not a new phenomenon in the EPL to fire coaches in the middle of a season, and the most sacks of coaches in 2013/2014 and 2017/2018 were 10 coaches each in that season.

And in the middle of this season there have been 6 coaches who have been sacked, and it is likely that this number will increase or be the same as the previous number because this season is still ongoing. And one manager whose future is at risk is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and if the next few games are bad there is a possibility of being sacked.

Experience in the English Premier league is important, if he is ever to get the Liverpool job in the future. There is no doubt he is not a good Coach. We have seen what he has done for Rangers. He has won rangers the Scottish title and has brought stability to rangers.
Manager position is very hard to do especially in giant clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea or Manchester United. Nowadays, boards are not patiently wait for results. They spend money for transfer budget and they want as fastest good results as possible. If they don't harvest good results from big transfers and new star players, manager will be sacked.

It happened with Lampard last year. Gerrad did not have too much experience as a coach at top level. I think he should grow up his career gradually and avoid to take risk like Lampard. I think both ex-midfielders can become great managers in Premier League next few years.

Manchester United fall behind competitors for the title but they also fall deeply enough to see Arsenal stands above them. It is unbelievable when the season kicked off because Arsenal was in bad crisis with Arteta last 2 seasons. Nobody believe that they can have higher ranking than Manchester United.
I appreciate Arsenal can be top 5 on the table now. While Man United showed bad performance, Arsenal did a great job in the last 5 matches. I think Arsenal has found a good strategy by putting combo Aubameyang and Lacazette on the front line. Man United needs to evaluate their strategy like Arsenal did, if they still want to compete with other teams. I think Man United has a chance to come back again to top 5, don't worry!!

Yeah, Arsenal have done a great job so far after an unbelievably bad start. For any team, this is really hard to achieve mentally. Because think about that you lost nearly all of your first games by big score gaps. And you maintained this losing streak for weeks. It is not easy to recover from this condition psychologically. But Arsenal made it with even the same coach they were being torn apart by their competitors.

And Manchester United also have a big chance to do this as their condition is not worse than Arsenal's early season performance. They are still not too far away from even the leader. A 9-point gap can be closed as we are not even at the half season. But they should start making the right choices before it is too late also.
