Liverpool were seen as the favourites, but West Ham United continue their successful chart. They managed to beat long-standing unbeaten Liverpool 3-2. Liverpool's two goals were also very good. I see an important match in the fixtures on 20 November. Leicester City v Manchester City match will be played. Manchester is my favourite, but Leicester might surprise us.
These type of games do happen time to time. I mean Liverpool can't just beat everyone aside from few teams, that would be insane. There are 20 teams in the league, a total of 38 games, lets assume that they lose to City both times, that is still 36 wins, let’s assume there are 2-3 other teams that gives a challenge so they have 2 ties and 2 more losses, that is still 34 wins, with 2 ties and 34 wins that makes it 104 points.
Not impossible since just previous year they ended with 99 points (pandemic season), with literally 32 wins and 3 ties so it is not impossible for them but that would be league points record (right now at 100) so it is also not an easy task neither. So that means teams lose to opponents they should "win" or seen favourites here and there all throughout the season so that they would have the results we are used to at the end of the year.
