Not much time left for the opening match which is Leicester v Arsenal tomorrow. Leicester are at the 9th place and Arsenal are the 10th having the same points. Arsenal have a much better streak than Leicester now. But Leicester are very advantageous in their home matches. They lost only one time so far which was against Manchester City by 1-0. I don't expect them to lose this match but I guess both teams can score here.
Both club has some good records Arsenal is on a 8 matches unbeaten runs thus will like to keep and maintain the record, while Leicester City lost once at home, a good home record too, I will only bet on both team to score because both team attackers are potent Abumeyang and James Vardy spearheading the attacks and both teams equally has good midfielders Smith Rowe and Maddison supporting their striker respectively, In EPL playing at home doesn't really matter the home has to be excellently good to enjoy home support else such a team can equally lose at though Leicester City is a good side.

Only two teams? From his first ever title to his last ever title there were 5-6 different teams that won the league, and countless teams on the top three, it was definitely competitive, he didn't win the league because it was easy, he made it look easy but it was still incredibly difficult. Dude managed to win 13 premier league titles in 26 seasons, that is half of the seasons he managed as champions, to think that it was due to "only two teams competed" when in fact there were 5-6 other teams that won, and 20+ teams that came in at top three, that is just ignorant to say.

I agree that his style may not match today's fast paced game, but I am sure that main reason would be his health not allowing him to manage a calendar that heavy, after a certain age it gets tiring to even go to games and come back let alone be there for every other thing as well and travel. All in all he was AMAZING while he was managing, just a little old for heavy schedule now.

I think what he meant to say with the two-teams statement was when Liverpool and Man Utd were the most dominant teams in English football at that time and no other team came close to the level of performance that both Liverpool and United. I'm also of the opinion that Alex Ferguson was one of the best managers I know. I am a Liverpool fan but I know a good coach when I see one and Alex was such.

It is good to see that we are starting the match weekend with a nice match like Leicester - Arsenal. To me, Leicester are the favourite team here. People say that Arsenal have done much better in the recent times. But I don't care about it and I still believe that Leicester are quite powerful for being able to defeat Arsenal home. But it wouldn't make me surprised to see a big competition of course.

Leicester and Arsenal are currently 9th and 10th in the table and of course it will be a pretty tough match to fight for the three points and improve their position, but as a fan of course I will still support Arsenal to get full points in the game

Both of them were quite aggressive in winning points and 5th and 6th positions. But I see the match will be quite exciting today maybe in the optimal preparation period. The match which is quite awaited after Leicester and Arsenal both qualified will not be difficult to penetrate the 5th place.

Arsenal and Leicester can capitalize on Brighton and Wesham's position as a wish. There is no need for Leicester to worry about Manchester United, who are in the 7th standings. Because there is only a difference of 2 points for the time being.

The return of Alex Ferguson to the post of head coach is fantastic and it is very difficult to imagine a situation for this to happen.
Who's ideal is this ? This is a serious joke. Alex. Ferguson is now old enough to withstand any team strain, and even if he were to return magically, he would struggle to adapt to the new football speed. There were only two teams competing for the league during his time.

The fans may be angry, there may be names they do not want against the club, there may be polarization. I don't think there is a problem between Ole and the players, right now that pressure is valid for both Ole and players. I think tomorrow the players will do their best to win. If Manu doesn't get a good result in this match then Ole should start avoiding the fans and look for a new club.
I'm surprised why Solskjaer is still the coach of Manchester United? The results are more than convincing that the club needs a new coach. Perhaps there is a good relationship between Solskjaer and the players, but apparently this is not enough for good results, and the players themselves understand this well. And it seems silly to me to leave the decision of the coach's fate in the hands of the players, this is already a reverse game.

Changing coach is not as easy as falling of a log, there are so many things to consider by the management.
Changing coach is also not a guarantee of better performance/result of the team, the chance of getting even worst after changing coach does exist.
United's performance this season especially in the last few matches is so bad, no doubt about it but I think giving Ole more chances is better at the moment.

As much as I hate to say it, Ole wont be sacked unless there is another coach that is ready to take on his job anytime. As of now, I dont think there is an agreement reached between board management and the other potential coach to replace him so yeah that wont happen for a while. Ole is pretty much on his last life line right now and any dissapointing result in the future wont be tolerated

The three match given to him if he loses is quite enough, and once Ole Gunner Solskjaer does, the sack letter should be transferred to him.
He has drastically lost control of his team, as well being criticized of his tactics publicly by he's own players.
The Mac tominay and Fred combination no longer works, how long do we wait to see him change that ?
Gary Neville and some of the 1999 Manchester United squad supporting Ole Gunner Solskjaer is turning out bad, if this we're to be Jose Mourinho or Van Gaal, they would be the ones to Champion the sack.

Tottenham Vs Manchester United: Since Man Utd management/ ownership continues to support Ole, then any team can win them let alone a team like Tottenham. The only gleam of hope for Man Utd to take a good result is Cristiano and by the "good result", I mean not losing. Sad

It is very possible for other clubs to attack Manchester United armed with the incident with Liverpool. Tottenham may be said to have good abilities, against Manchester they can show their skills again. Take advantage of the opportunities from the unstable Manchester United camp.

Well, about 50% of other clubs want to overthrow Manchester United, but the players also don't want to repeat mistakes in a row. it's just a matter of anticipation from Ole and giving a slightly different style of play, so that it can make the performance of Manchester United players more aggressive.

Goodnight, o_e_l_e_o 🌹
Manchester United tomorrow's match with Tottenham will be purely a game of politics. It will be nice pointers stay away from it.
It's sport, no politics here. Ole is facing with pressure but there is no political issue in this match. Ole had some pressure and risk of sack in the past but eventually players saved him. With what players are showing and their support for Ole is decreasing, I think they won't save Ole this time.

Quote
I am seeing it to be the match between the Manchester United players and Manchester United coach. The players will decide to keep the coach or not. For now we don't how the players loyal to Sir Fergie and Ole will fight and how others will not fight.
Ole is too friendly with players and he does not have a power like Sir. Alex. He can not control players so they think they are stars and can play with whatever effort they want in matches. Their positions won't be challenged by their bad attitude or bad forms. Ole can not fix it and gradually it destroys himself and the club.
Sports cannot go without business and politics.
Again, Ole is friendly with all the players but not now Again. He (Ole) cannot be that friendly with any player that critized publicly, and many players have done that.
If you can remember what happened with Mourinho at Chelsea, when the players were playing to get him sacked and it finally happened.
Ole is used to being blamed. If tomorrow's match eventually goes against Manchester United, dear, you know who will be blamed aswell.

Son and Kane are tough to handle but Spurs also have been there in rough patch same like United so I am guessing they will also be going all out on the pitch in their match against United. It would be hell of a battle tomorrow as both teams would look to improve their performance especially United when their manager's job is on the line. If Ole puts right pieces at right position then I think they have a shot to win this one.
An important point for both of them while only Man United who has a losing streak without a win, Ole will certainly think hard about how his strategy fits against Spurs, while Son and Kane will now try to save points so they don't fall behind, so both will play out.
I also actually still doubt Ole will win but if Varane comes back then this will certainly increase the strength of the defender for Man United and from an attacking point of view I have no doubts about it, only the back line needs attention.
If Man.  United met Tottenham and couldn't win this game either, I can't imagine how embarrassed they are to lose in a row.  Let alone being at the top of the standings, just staying in 5th position is very difficult because there are many other teams that are much more stable.  On the other hand, the Man United players are very ordinary in their game.
With so many star players in the squad, it's very unethical to keep losing for Man United, so one of the problems is from the coaching that is still being maintained while the performance in the strategy is still not qualified but I'm sure if the management acts decisively and overcomes the problem So this can be overcome with a new coach and it seems it must be determined that losing to Spurs should immediately sack Ole.
If Man United is getting mired, it will be very difficult to catch up with the points while the other teams are still competing against on MU points.

Leicester Vs Arsenal: This is a "deathmatch" so being strict with the result it's more than risky. However, a draw is very likely...

this might be exciting because apart from the points they are the same and only adrift of the number of goals. Their performance has also been quite good lately.
but i still tend to leicester

Liverpool Vs Brighton: Sorry to Brighton fans but that's an easy afternoon for the Reds. Two goals seem few, I will go for 3+ goals.
brighton until the 10th week is still giving pretty good surprises, but playing at Liverpool's cage and with Liverpool's confidence, especially having slaughtered MU a few days ago, it will be very difficult for brighton to be able to draw it will be ignited

I agree with what you said Smiley as long as Ole is still in office and applies Fred and McCominay's duet tactics, the opposing team will definitely win.
and this goes for tottenham.
just pray to see the weird ole experiment again Cheesy

This is indeed a serious joke but I think he doesn't understand the reason why Sir Ferguson visited the Man United training ground which was because of something an issue that has mounted lately about how Ole manages the club. However, Sir Ferguson was not the only that visited the club training ground cause the former United chairman Martin Edwards also visit either.
I believe this generate some correction in the recent problem the club is having.

Conte keeps silent to give his respect to Ole but we know that the time of Ole in Old Trafford is counting down.
Conte has no business being involved in this scenario, therefore I'm curious what you expected him to say about Ole and Manutd. Do you think he'll state on broadcast that "I want Ole fired"? Conte is a larger coach, and United will approach him directly if they want his services.
That's correct but I still dont like how people believe every responsible of the club belong to management alone.

ManU will face Spurs tomorrow, a quite hard game for both with nice odds @2.38 for ManU and 2.95 for Spurs.
ManU will face next Atalanta in CL with close odds @2.4 - 2.7 then City in EPL with extreme odds @1.65 for City and @5.2 for ManU.. They will face also Chelsea by the end of November.. To say it will be a hard job for ManU management whatever it was. Surviving these games will boost the team confidence. Losing it will make the fight for the title harder. They are 8 points behind Chelsea after 9 games only..

Manchester United tomorrow's match with Tottenham will be purely a game of politics. It will be nice pointers stay away from it.

The team is polarised technically so as the fans. The management is taking some decisions against some fans and some old boys of the club.

The return of Alex Ferguson to the post of head coach is fantastic and it is very difficult to imagine a situation for this to happen.
Sir Alex will no longer coach any club including Manchester United at his age. He is much safer sitting on the VIP bench watching match after match where he can still suggest some good things to the Manchester United management for something better. He can no longer get too much pressure as a coach even though he had a sweet experience at Manchester United before.

I agree if Manchester United contacted Conte to replace Ole because Conte is a coach who is quite passionate in every match his team plays.
sir alex is a good coach especially at MU because you could say the era of sir alex is the golden era of MU. but as you said, the era is over.
Sir Alex's age is not young anymore, no matter how much he loves MU, it's impossible to be a coach for an elderly person like Sir Alex.
it would be great he is the one who supports every MU game is on the Vip bench and watching MU play now.
although in the last game he looked disappointed after being slaughtered by Liverpool

It is a derby of the fallen giants, so to speak. I am not sure who to favor in this one, smells like a draw for me since both managers will probably be happy with not loosing. Should be goals definitely in this one since united is comical in defense and they have more than enough fire power to score a goal or two. My bet goes on both to score and I am hoping for an exiting game for neutral viewers like myself.
