I think the Tottenham Hotspur coach Nuno is in danger of losing his on job too in this game, Ole can't escape the sack is very obvious for every one to see it now that he can't take Manchester United to the level they want to be,the expectations are very high for him since the arrival of Christiano Ronaldo, they have a very good squad,in other hand Nuno needs to win this game to prove that Tottenham are taking the top four very serious,if he lose he is not competent enough for the spurs job.so he should be sack immediately

Good point, Spurs under Nuno also has delivered some poor results so I also think he is gonna be near to sack. However its not that bad of situation for him as in case of Ole. Getting defeated with big margins and losing points against some not so much difficult teams really shows there is something wrong with the manager.

It would be hell of a match in this upcoming gameweek as both team's managers are near to getting sacked. Ole would definitely get sack if he doesn't delivers in this upcoming game as well.

I think that this match will be more about Ole vs Nuno than Utd vs Spurs. Both the managers have their jobs at stake, Ole more than Nuno I guess. Ole has found it really hard to bring success and recently lost to Liverpool with a huge 5 goal margin.  On the other hand, Spurs are in 6th position right now and have a possibility to bounce back to the top 4 within the last game of the season. I'm hoping for an enjoyable and thrilling match.

Deciding whether or not Solskjaer will stay as a Manchester United manager based on one game seems ridiculous to me.What if Man Utd wins against Tottenham(which is really possible),Ole keeps his position, but Man United fails to win in the next matches?
Losing 5-0 against Liverpool seemed shocking, but having a brand new manager at this point might be counterproductive.I'm not a fan of Ole Solskjaer, but the man deserves a second chance, despite a possible negative outcome of the match against Tottenham.

OGS has been in Manchester for a long time, but we see that there is no big achievement that OGS can give to Manchester United, and even though they now have Ronaldo, the evidence is that Manchester United's performance under OGS's coaching has actually deteriorated quite.
If I may ask, why do you think OGS deserve a second chance, while it is clear that Manchester United are in very bad shape at the moment?
I wonder now is why Manchester United gave OGS another chance instead of sacking him outright

So, the funny thing is I was hoping City would go through as my team Spurs somehow managed to get 1 header past and be in the quarterfinals. Because I have a feeling we are going to meet Brentford or West Ham and we will somehow lose to them  Grin Whereas we seem to turn up for games against City.

Just not Liverpool though, prefer them to meet Arsenal who might beat them.

^ I think I oppose with you. Ole has hardly been able to bring success to Old Trafford for the past 2 or 3 years. I think that this is the perfect time to get a new coach as if they bring a new coach he will have this season to sort out the problems and get them somewhat fixed if not fully, then next season maybe they can target some titles. But instead, if Ole is kept for this season, it will result in a season wasted in my opinion.

Today Liverpool will play in the EFL Cup against Preston and it looks like in a tournament like this Liverpool will only play second tier players, it makes me wonder if Liverpool will still win big and easy in this match. Looking at the other teams, they have a balanced opponent which of course they will be more serious to win the game and maybe only a little rotation, it looks like it will be very different from the rotation done at Liverpool.
Ouep the second Liverpool squad was able to beat Preston with 2 goals to 0.
Meanwhile City, although playing with key players, lost by penalties vs West Ham...
Chelsea and Leicester won also by penalties.
A tournament to test second tiers players and new strategies if I can say so.
yes this is a pretty good event to test the tier players from each club and liverpool is one of the complex teams now because both the first squad and their second squad are really strong.
even though today's opponent is one of the teams who are in the championship with 19th position at the moment but this does not lower my opinion that liverpool are really strong

It seems like we are going for one last round with Ole Solskjaer against Tottenham away.  Grin  He has a very valuable last chance in this one and he should make use of this in the best way to be able to continue doing his job at Manchester United. Otherwise, I'm sure that he will get sacked like Koeman got today after the Vallecano loss in the La Liga. So, Solskjaer had better prepare very well for the match ahead.

Tottenham Boss Nuno spirito is a bit safer than Ole Gunnar. Ole has been given three games to rate his performance. And I am supporting Nuno's Tottenham just so that they can dismiss Ole Gunnar. Three solid years into management and no viable tactics and still playing players that can't perform. I am not even convinced that the Management are honest with the three games given to him to perform. Anything happen on the next games perhaps Ole will still remain the manager of Manchester United. Whatever result they will all stand behind Ole. We all know he would not survive in many clubs with the results. If this was Chelsea Ole would not be the coach but for Manchester United, they don't care about football, all they care about is making money.

It takes a lot for a new manager to come in and create positive impart immediately, Klopp took two years to build his square, Pep took one year to build a strong team, Arteta has been there for two years now without any impact, no team building, the squad he has assembled together can not compete for the league if that's what Arsenal fans want to hear, the entire players Arteta bought this season are all average. Tbh
Do you know the difference between these clubs and Arsenal? It is obvious you do not know. Firstly, The Hierarchy in these clubs differs.  Before you can talk about signing a player, you have to go through some stages and board meetings before it will go through. But some clubs are not like that, because the managers have an upper hand in making transfers. After the owner of the club, the managers are next in line or something. If they want  a particular player, it would not even take time to get him. Klopp and Guardiola are those kind of managers, they can get any player of their interest without much discussion. Secondly Klopp and Pep Guardiola are top managers, they have the experience already to manage any kind of team, whether struggling or big stars team. Arteta is a new generation Coach and this is his first club to manage. He will do well and I am sure about that. His counterparts have spent more than two years in some clubs without no trophy. Be patient.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I've heard that Manchester United board decided to give one more chance to Solskjaer in the Tottenham game ahead. Especially Ferguson wanted such thing according to a source I saw today.
I think not 1 game (Tottenham) only. when he loses, he still has a chance to repair on another game, versus Atalanta on the champion league and derby manchester. The Official is very loved him, he is very calm and polite, different from Mourinho with a naughty mouth, the official will very quickly make decisions for him. I think Ole will stay until the finished and will continue on the next session when he gets 1 title for MU.
Yeah, I had the same thought. One more chance for Solskjaer in the game against Tottenham is just a warning so that Solskjaer feels burdened and he will do many ways to win. My guess is that Glazer has kept Solskjaer, not for his quality but because Solskjaer is not a controversial figure, and he is a coach that the Glazers can completely control.

Many fans of Man United don't like Glazers, because Glazers are not football lovers (they are not Manchester United fans either). Glazers are just a bunch of businessmen who use Man United as a source of income for them.
No wonder if that's the case and owning a Man United club is only a source of income, not as a football lover or club but wanting more income, I think if this kind of thinking will not develop in his team.
It's true that Solskjaer can still continue to be in control because it's uncontroversial then there won't be any pressure on his team's goals, if Solskjaer is allowed to continue until the end of the season Man United will not win any trophies there is only jeers from fans because of the dislike of the coach.

Didn't Koeman get 3 games to prove he could fix Manchester?
Do you think he will do it or indeed Solskjaer fate will soon be like Koeman at barcelona?
To be honest, I personally don't believe that Manchester United will rise again if they win against Tottenham later, especially in my opinion, Tottenham current condition is quite bad, it cannot be used as a reference if Manchester has risen if they win later.

Hope sir Alex isn't playing a sort of gamble with the club. It's really obvious Ole can't help the club and has lost confidence even in his team. We have seen in past games where he had issues with his players the likes of Pogba, how then will he win against Tottenham nor Atalanta. Since the board has given him more chances to prove his career let's watch and see what comes out of it. But the truth is they are gradually losing their fans and sponsors too

Actually, we all saw how Ferguson's face was when the score was 5-0. We can remember this in the picture below again:-snip
Hopefully this decision is right and Ole can give his team a win, but the question is whether he will also survive the other matches? can give the results the players, fans and management want, because next team they face is stronger than Tottenham.
Hope next week's match at Old Trafford, Sir Alex still watches it and there is no disappointed face appear in the media.

I wonder if Solskjaer will manage to use this chance wisely against Tottenham. As we know, Tottenham are another team that are struggling a lot. They lost to West Ham in their last game. They will also want to win here. It's going to be a really interesting game.

The sad and disappointed look on Sir Alex's face. This is really sad, could Sir Alex return to coaching? It seems impossible. How embarrassed he is to play at home and lose 5-0, this is bad. Besides that, I also heard that Pogba was starting to speak up about his departure. Pogba would love to leave soon if Ole was still at Manchester United.

If Ole lost to Tottenham in their next match, am afraid he might get sacked just as Barcelona sacked Koeman against they lost against Rayo Vallecano. Therefore, he have to prepare his squad and also try his best by winning against Tottenham. Although, the match will be tough but Tottenham is as advantage because is their home match, and they won't want to lost again after losing to West Ham last week. However, the safest betting option in this match is Over 1.5.

Zinedine Zidane has no interest in becoming Manchester United manager should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer be sacked, according to reports in Spain. (source)
So the chapter of Zidane taking over as Man United coach seems to be over. If we see there last four matches then Man United performance against Liverpool is dreadful and that's something acceptable since Liverpool is a strong team.

Actually I hope Zidane can work with Ronaldo again. But if the news you wrote is true, maybe Conte is another good alternative for Manchester United.

I think so. Unfortunately, Zidane doesn't want to manage Man United. He may consider some aspects and looks not promising to do. Whatever the reasons, Zidane cannot be Man United manager, so Man United management must look for other managers. In my opinion, Conte is one of the good options to manage Man United players. He is a charismatic person and also can motivate players very well. I think this type of coach is very suitable for Man United players.
