I feel sorry for Arsenal when they had the game under control but a red card which could have been avoided compromised their game and finally led them to a lost game.
English refs are the worst I don't know why VAR was introduced in the first place, I thought it was introduced to correct mistakes like this one because the Red card to David Luiz was uncalled for. They might win the appeal but the match is ruined forever.

Man Utd required to get back and win their matches if they still want to keep contending for the EPL title. Southampton looks to be as challenging as they get but they couldn’t take in any points from the big teams.Their last defeat against Aston Villa left them on their downward spiral.
It's true that Manchester United struggles at their home games however I don’t think they can be always on this path and keep this form at home going if they really wants the title. I expect over2.5 goals and a home win.

Such an unlucky red card for Southampton, they and Arsenal totally lost their heads last night. Didn't watch the games at all but the highlights must be something interesting so will watch that soon today when I find the videos but I don't know, in premier league you shouldn't lose 9-0. Well done Red Devils!

A festival of goals in the Manchester United game which won 9-0 against a Southampton which promised a lot in the beginning of the season but are now slowly fading away.

9-0 for the final score and Manchester United set the record for the highest number of goal scored in a single match this season. This 9 extra goals are great to secure higher position in case points are tied.

Its clear that Manchester United was the favourites to win the game but I guess no one was really expecting 9 goals. Southampton is actually a decent team and Im not sure whats going on here but In case anyone didnt notice yet, Southampton has lost 4 times in a row
those red card in early game may change the tactics and southampton gameplan here. if alex jankewitz not receive a red card on early game the result might be different.
ofcourse! but it was a deserving red. Such a stupid tackle to make in the middle of the pitch. Yesterday was a Red card galore! It only got stupider one after the other. David Luiz was unlucky but the ones after were just plain stupid.

An incredible match just ended. Manchester United beat Shefield United 9-0. At the beginning of the match, there were 10 players left with the Shefield red card. There were 9 people who received a red card in the 86th minute. He also conceded 3 more goals in the last minutes and lost the match 9-0.

It wasn't Sheffield United who were beaten by Manchester United, but Southampton. It seems like you are less concentrated when writing this
comment. Indeed, Manchester United dominated once after Southampton got a red card at the start of the match. Manchester United immediately
attacked Southampton aggressively, and finally Manchester United's goal started in the 18th minute by Aaron Wan-Bissaka and ended the first half
with a score of 4-0 to win Manchester United.

Entering the second half Manchester United added 5 goals, and Southampton did not score a goal, but instead got a red card for the second time.
Southampton lost 4 times in a row in the Premier League, this should be a lesson for Ralph Hassenhuettl to refine his strategy. So that Southampton
in the next matches can get up and win the match.

I do not find the goal difference to be surprising, if you check, Manchester United is now dragging the first position with Manchester City, Manchester City is only leading with goal, though this is not the end of the season but the close mark is making the top teams to perform than others. Let us just expect the best of Manchester United.
It is an impressive season for them and I believe even Manucians did not expect that they can go strong and far like this. Solskajer slowly builds up his solid position in the club and more important, help the club to move upward to the top positions and title candidate that they used to be before the retirement of Sir Alex.

It is a tennis style win for Manchester United. I did not think they can win big as that but I'd congratulate Manucians for this win.

Bruno has another normal match even in a huge win of Man Utd. I think that Solskajer has to be brave and let Bruno some rests that long enough to help his energy recharge.

In fact, the most surprising part is to not see only Southampton losing vs ManU but seriously 6-0 with 15 minutes left! ManU is humiliating them badly tonight!

Southampton is in real trouble and declining fast. With such big goal difference (4-0) vs ManU + an early red card + a cancelled goal thx to VAR won't help them recover from this easily...

Southampton are in real trouble against this ruthless Man Utd side. Cavani just made it 4-0 and it's still not half time yet. Well, this is the price that Southampton must pay for that rash Jankewitz challenge early on in the match. This game might end up being Man Utd winning margin in the PL this season if they continue with this performance and keep putting that balls in the net. Unfortunate night for this Southampton team.

Did anyone notice how the winners of the earlier fixtures for today turned out to be the home sides? Both Arsenal and West Brom took early leads only to go ahead and lose it later on?

Just finished watching Wolves vs Arsenal, I had some bet on Arsenal win draw no bet and I don't know if I am more angry on ref who gave stupid red card and penalty for Wolves or for Arsenal goalkeeper with that stupid hand ball outside the box that gave him red card.
Even bigger problem for Arsenal now is they will miss many more players in next match against Aston Villa, but I will take early advantage and bet on Aston Villa.

Similar thing for Southampton who started match with Manchester with red card and with so many missing and injured players I think even lame Newcastle could beat them or get a draw atleast.

With Arsenal, David Luiz played 34 matches, causing 6 penalties for them !!
With Benfica, Chelsea or Brazil, David Luiz is a regular defender who has represented big clubs without a convincing reason .Arsenal was doing the match well until the moment of expulsion and the penalty kick, which changed all the course of things .
David Luiz stupid red card cost arsenal the match although the red is not convincing enough he also committed a similar foul when arsenal played Chelsea last season although that match ended in a draw, he was red carded against Man City, as a last defender he knows that any contact with the opponent player in the box will result to penalty but he didn't take caution.

Wolves are a good team but Arsenal are in good form. It won’t be easy but I do think Arteta’s army will march on with another 3 points tonight. Kick off is in just over 30 minutes.
Well Arsenal failure was expected but getting more red cards than goals wasn't!
Arsenal and Wolves will stay in the middle of the table after all apparently..
Sheffield winning 2-1 vs WBA after receiving a goal was something rare to see, yet they are way behind (10 points) leaving the relegation zone.

There is a nice game going on that is Wolves-Arsenal. We've left the first half behind. Saka's goal was cancelled by VAR decision because of an offside. Pepe made his team get ahead 1-0. In the stoppage time, D. Luiz got an unlucky red card and R. Neves scored the penalty. Wolves started the second half with a goal that Moutinho scored and they are 2-1 ahead now. This can be the golden opportunity for Wolves to finally get a win after a long time.

This season is anything but easy, if you have forgotten so quickly, City had a very poor and slow start to the season and as you can see from the league table, despite their consistent form of late, they aren't too far from the teams in second and third positions, and as we know, anything is still possible.

But having said that, atm, City look like they are the title favorites, and if they can win against Liverpool this weekend, then that will give them an added boost and motivation in this title race, City have fixed their defensive woes and are the team to have conceded the least in the league this season, and to add to that, they are a deadly force when going forward. With an impregnable defense and players that can score 3 goals or more in a blink of an eye, I think City will be champions of the EPL this season.
I agree that league could be anything at the moment, I do not even see City as the favorites for some reason, not because of anything specific because I can't put my finger on why I wouldn't find City as the favorites, sure they are either the best team or at least second best team in the league and already leading the league right now so by all means I should see them as favorites but I do not at all.

I think Liverpool is still the favorites for some reason, they are a well oiled machine, a British football club with worldwide talents managed by a German, how well could things get. However, we are talking about premier league here, if United wins, if WEST HAM for Christ sake wins I wouldn't be shocked, we talked about Leicester being 5500 to 1 and how they win all the time, anything could happen in premier league honestly.

Do not underestimate Wolverhampton, they have a slump this season, but if you look at how the team plays, you cannot say that they are playing poorly. Arsenal are also not in their best shape right now, so there could be any outcome in this match.

Well, it's close to the end of first half (~around 3 minutes of playtime left), Arsenal is already leading thanks to a goal by Pepe. Arsenal should even be 2-0 up but Saka's earlier goal was disallowed by VAR because Lacazette was offside in the build up leading to the goal.
Right now both matches going in same way as visitors leading by 0 - 1 after end of first half even Sheffield United is in complete control but sadly their finishing is not good so West Brom enjoying lead hopefully we will watch some good number of goals in second half Arsenal's good run is still on lets watch can they keep this lead until end of match.

Edit: Red Card for Arsenal and Luiz is guilty again for this penalty for Wolves very poor for visitors 1 - 1
