It seem that Manchester United's chance of winning the title next season are still the same as last season despite having bought several new players projected for next season. Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are the names of the team that have the potential to win the title every season although sometime we can see the fact that other team like Tottenham, Leicester and Arsenal can also get it.
I agree with you. Manchester United bought some good players for their current weak positions. I think it is good but not enough. They should find another coach. Solskajer will have his fourth season in Old Trafford and if he fails again, he should leave or should be sacked.
Pochettino can help Manchester United because he is more flexible with substitutions and can make important decisions in matches.
I personally seem to see more if the championship competition will occur in the top four clubs in the English league next season, the duo manchester, liverpool and chelsea but if you look at their shopping activities in the transfer market, of course the chances of manchester united look bigger to be able to become champions next season, if we assessed the manchester united squad last season, we can see if defense is their main weakness and now menchester united is more focused on improving these weaknesses while their front line is still quite dangerous for next season because it is filled by Sancho, Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and also Cavani as a target man, while the other three clubs until now there has been no significant change from their squad except Manchester City, which lost Aguero and also Chelsea, who was left by Olivier Giroud.
You can not predict performance of a club from their transfer in the summer. New players might succeed or fail in new clubs. If they fail, clubs will suffer bad performance and coaches can be sacked too. The last season, Lampard in Chelsea is an example. He did his job too well, discovered Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, etc. and helped Chelsea to get the fourth position
After that successful season, Frankie got good transfer budget from Abramovich, brought some players, Werner, Havertz, etc. They failed in the first half of season and Lampard was sacked.
The same can happen with Manchester United. Sancho is a great player but whether he will succeed in Old Trafford, I don't know.
