...Aaand RIP my bets (again). We also lost the sportbet special along with it.

Penalty to Brighton at the end of the game after checking the VAR which removed 2 goals for LFC and they scored 1-1 Shocked
+ injury!
Klopp gonna have a heart attack Undecided

To be fair, Klopp has done a good job holding LFC together with this recent slew of injuries. Other managers would have crumbled, along with their games. Man United is a good example of what I'm talking about, even without many injuries, a badly performing manager will put the club in peril.
I confirm. I just feel sorry for him with the already eliminated players due to injuries (+covid in some games), eliminated 2 goals by VAR, another injury today and a goal at the last minutes thanks to the VAR... This is too much to handle for a good manager Lips sealed

^  Brighton played well tho.  They could start rising at the table now.  They have been playing well but just weren't getting the results.  Now they are in a couple of games.

It could be a good time to start backing them in some spots.  Smiley

^^ It wasn't inches or centimetres, it was milimetres haha. Mane last season elbow, for the first implementation, then this season again for top shoulder also a new implementation of offside, Mane again. Today a shoe barely offside Bleh.

Anyway, what a nervy game this Saturday opener is. If not for Jota on his 5th consecutive scoring game, I don't know man. I mean, yeah, we had that Mane goal too (offside) but Jota won that freekick as well. Crazy game. Penalty Maupay somehow missed. Salah and Mane offside goals. Almost own goal from Robbo.

And all that to get the penalty for what kind of foul that was, I've no idea.

Call me crazy but if the spurs win this turn they create a wave of joy in the team and they can be a contender for the title till the end.

Like what happened to Leicester a few years ago, when you create the alchemy inside the team you can beat anyone even if they are stronger than you.

If Leicester did some years ago for sure Spurs can do the same thing with a better (probably) team.

Not crazy at all my friend. I personally think last game and this, Spurs are good value bets, because the bookies and the papers are underestimating them. Now the thing will be for that to continue. I think as soon as it's on everyone's lips that they'll be the favourites, that'll be their downfall. Now they just need to keep performing as much as they can without the burden of expectation. Mou being a lot more cheerful and positive is definitely helping. I truly believe it's the team chemistry too that determines how far they go. That in turn helps with mentality, with confidence, etc.

That said, the test also comes when they meet Liverpool next;)

^  I celebrated that Mane goal...  Like all out:  MAAANNEEEEEE!!!!  But then was disappointed once again.  At least it was in a span of a few seconds this time, so no biggie.  Grin

How are we still at 0-1 against Brighton? We should've demolished them by now.

Milner also got himself in injury trouble, hope it's nothing serious.

Unfortunately 2 times VAR and the goal was annulled again Sadio Mane just made a deadly header but still in the VAR the goal was invalid.
You could say this is detrimental to Liverpool Grin, but this has become a policy of having VAR.
Oh my God this should have been 3 goals for Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah's goal was disallowed by the referee because he was considered offside, sometimes a VAR side is very annoying in football even though the offside position is only a few inches, obviously in VAR replays only the wrong shoe position is a few inches ahead compared to Brighton & Hove Albion defender. But Liverpool still not get good performance just only have once chance from Salah and not shot on target from Liverpool forward, Firmino playing behind defensive and not created any attempt for Liverpool and still waiting Mane coming in to make creative for Liverpool forward and make score.
VAR making this game excessively technical. Everybody thought he'd scored and celebrating however the disturbing part in football VAR system playing as villain as his feet was offside. VAR is killing it, not the first time through this sort of decision against Liverpool. Anyway, Do you believe that most of these VAR decisions against Liverpool?

I do not think this is an agenda against liverpool because neutrally as a footballer; when your feet is offside; then you are offside. VAR indeed has technical issues; but it was a correct call today. Klopp would be moaning right now as James Milner has been substituted off the match injured. A close season; a tight game at brighton and a brilliant title defense so far.

Mohamed Salah almost scored, it was for some centimeter and even so they said the goal was invalid  Angry

edit: I made multi bet and liverpool is making everything difficult with this draw
nice, Jota made Liverpool 1 point ahead.  like you, I am also worried about my bet and the possibility of a final score (draw) I hope the game ends in a Liverpool win..

it looks like the VAR at the Falmer stadium needs to be repaired..  Cheesy

Right after you celebrated it, right?  Lolol.  Cheesy  I did too, stood up, got me a drink and saw thr score line is nil for both.  I assume there was no VAR.  That would've been hilarious.

I was already celebrating a lot because it would demoralize Brighton and liverpool would have more space to score more goals, but this draw means that I will have another 45 minutes of suffering

I just logged in to say:  Williams you idiot!

...  That is all.

But he got lucky.  LFC needs VVD very badly.  Got LFC to win and over 1.5 combo at 1.78.  I don't it's gonna look good with this line up.  :/

Edit:  LFC looking shaky at the back.  One of these shots are bound to go in.

In my mind concerning the most anticipated match for the weekend in EPL, I don't see Mourinho defending. He's got Son, Bale and kane now so, he would very much want to attack but that, would be what playing right into the hands of Lampard who seems to be at the top of his game plans now. Worst case scenario would be the game resulting in a draw. Chelsea can loose this one. It's way much of a challenge to Lampard than it is for Mourinho. I won't be betting on that game but, I lf I were to bet, it would be a Chelsea win or draw or an over 2.5 or a both team score. That would be my betting options.

I am not sure that Tottenham will play attacking, because we all know that Mourinho's favorite strategy is to play defensively.
Especially against Chelsea who will play attacking, it is impossible for Tottenham to play attack too. Mourinho must have realized
the quality of Chelsea players is much better than Tottenham, so the most effective way to face Chelsea is to play defense. And
take advantage of Son or Moura's speed to counter-attack, I have the same prediction as you. The possibility of the match will
end in a draw.

The tourmalet will decide the chance to win Premier League for Spurs, begin with Chelsea. After Chelsea, Tottenham will meet Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Leicester City in December. The fixture in Premier League from their home page. It is a tourmalet but the most difficult match (after Chelsea) for Spurs is a clash with Liverpool. For other opponents, I think Mourinho and his team can get wins. This tourmalet is opportunity for Bale to show his contributions.
The most difficult candidates this season are Tottenham and Chelsea, Liverpool must be able to get past their team because now cannot be underestimated after knowing that Lampard and Mourinho have better players than before.
We'll find out which will be the title this season, Spurs and Chelsea have attackers to rely on like Timo Werner and Spurs are SON let's see what happens and forget the two Manchester now they are no longer shining.
