Very strange to see Manchester City win this final without a 100% clearcut striker like Aguero. Imagine all wingers playing in your attack. And sad they didn't even give the chance to Aguero just to appear in it.

Not a fan of city but one cannot deny Aguero's place in Premiership history:)

Man City are probably saving Aguero for the CL semi against PSG. He is an elite player but gets injured a lot, he’s probably being put in cotton wool by Pep in prep for what is essentially Pep s priority now, the CL.

With two more wins in the Premier League, Man City will bring another trophy (the Premier League trophy). I think Man City will have no trouble getting 2 wins in the EPL remaining matches. Additionally Man City also has a chance to get a third trophy (the Champions League trophy), it's just that it takes hard work to achieve it.
Crystal Palace and Chelsea are two matches to face I think this can be passed easily to bring the trophy, and now will focus more on the Champions League, Mancity might be more serious in facing in the Champions League and if the trophy is brought home too then Pep is the best coach I like the way he gives his best strategy.

Only me Westham and Liverpool who continue to scramble to occupy the position of the standings 4 this will be a big bet who deserves it?
Manchester City look serious how to get final stage on champion league this season, they still never success to final after failed always on semi final, how ever although City have good performance on domestic league there are not have guarantee for City easy to final, how ever PSG become hard for City and have more experience after last season success on final stage.

Congrat to manchester city to be EFL champion, you deserve it to streak 4 years. Pep is a genius coach who got 4x Trophy and to be the first one who got the winning streak 4 years.

this looks interesting when you write on google search "EFL final" then you could find the celebrate gif on the page.

This is one of the victories of several that will soon be pinned to Man City.  The EFL has ended beautifully for Pep Guardiola's team.  Furthermore, the EPL trophy will also be owned by City, a difference of 10 points is enough to provide a little sense of security for City over its current weight.  United also seem very excited to catch up.

I feel regret for Kun Aguero as he did not get change to join the match. His last match in the kit of Manchester United before the farewell did not happen. His last season has one trophy (EFL Cup) and might be another with Premier League. The Champions League will be what Kun Aguero want to have and I hope that he will be in place for semi finales and finale.

Manchester City is performing greatly this season. Winning the EFL cup yesterday was an awesome achievement. With the large points gap between them and Manchester United, i have no doubt that they will also win the Premier League this season. If only they can beat PSG in the semi-final of the UCL on Wednesday, then Manchester City have hope in winning the UCL. All thanks to Pep Guardiola for doing a great job on the team.

Manchester City completely erased Tottenham in the EFL Cup final and got a very deserved title that's for sure. EFL Cup is actually not a very important tournament for big EPL clubs but it's still a title in the end.  Grin  And City have boosted their morale for the PSG game on this Wednesday.

Manchester City has won the EFL Cup. They will undoubtedly be the Premier League champions this season. They are still 10 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United in the points table. Their only goal at the moment is to win the Champions League. Their opponent in the next match is PSG. Very strong opponent. Manchester City could lose this match because of a small wrong decision. They have to play very carefully.
Manchester City won, Tottenham lost EFL Cup and in the final match, Spurs play with the same tactic of Mourinho. I don't realize that club was managed by another coach.

Will Son and Kane leave the club in the summer transfer?

With 10 points ahead of Manchester United, Manchester City will take this trophy. They are strong and have enough good resources for substitutions and won't be collapse with injuries. The Premier League now only is exciting with the competition for 2 positions from third to fourth. Many clubs are involved in the competition: Leicester City, Chelsea, West Ham, Liverpool and Tottenham.

Premier League trophy is awarded to Manchester City. Congratulations MC and Pep!

In the other competition to Champions League, the table is still weird with many clubs are fighting for it. I can name them: Leicester City (59), Chelsea (58), West Ham (55), Liverpool (54) and Tottenham (53). They all have same total matches (33) and it makes the race now is more predictable than previous months when some clubs have 2 or 3 points to play than other clubs.

It is very weird because with the 5 matches left, even Leicester City can be out of top 4, not only the third position they are holding. Tottenham have lowest chance but they still can hope and fight. 6 points and 5 matches, it is possible task for Spurs. The problem for Spurs is they will have to wait for failures and lost points from all 4 clubs above on the table.

Congratulations to Manchester City

They've now won four times in a row, it was a fantastic game and deserves to win. Levy caused Tottenham chances of winning their first major, sacking a manager who has won the cup 4 times and never lost a final match. How can you sack a winning manager a few days to a final match?

The board that sacked Mourinho is not wise at all.
They have a world-class and experienced coach like Mourinho coupled with the fact that Mourinho cannot wait to beat Guardiola (his greatest rival) in a final and they had to sack him a week to the final?
And they hired a young and inexperienced coach to replace him
There is no way Kane would not have scored today if Mourinho was the man in charge.
I have never seen this kind of decision before. It's so pathetic
The worst decision taken by Tottenham management is by sacking Mourinho at this point in time, this is a club that has been trophyless for a very long time,. I believed in the tactical prowess of mourinho had it been he was in charge  yesterday, the worst scenario he would pack the bus and probably  the match would have ended in a  goalless draw thus providing opportunity to play penalty shootout of course Hugo lloris is a good goalkeeper he would made some good saves, I pity Kane and Son despite putting all their efforts for the club they came out trophyless.

I guess you say this about Leeds because of there win against Manchester City. Well, i wouldn't say the same with Manchester United as Manchester City were very much relaxed at that game giving Leeds the upper hand but, this is most likely not to be the case with Manchester United. It might seem to be the same scenario, having a game ahead in the Europa league to prepare and rest players for and with points ahead in the EPL but, this is a chance they won't give off. Manchester United have got a lot of confidence at the moment and are doing quite well, effect there morale towards the games and its rightly what they don't need now. There Leeds fixtures might be a tough game but, Manchester United can't loose.
I am not even joking I have been saying Leeds has been playing awesome all year. Those guys came out of championship just this year and they are already at 10th in the league, that is not a small achievement, normally it is very hard for championship level teams to get a hold of themselves. Many of their players are from last year as well, they do have bunch of new transfers this year but players who have been there at least 2+ years are the core of that team as well.

I think it is obvious that Leeds will only get better, and we can't just ignore the role Marcelo Bielsa played in making this a reality neither, dude is just an unreal manager and he has not been given enough credit in world of football, anyone inside the game would tell you how amazing he is, and yet he wasn't given a chance to manage a huge club, I believe he could take a bigger club into champions league if given the chance.

this is the best present Jose could have sitting from the side lines as a Manchester city fan Tongue lol that was too harsh maybe a neutral fan, if spurs still had him as coach maybe the result might have been different but either way them sacking Jose just saved his record because city are not your ordinary team, they would have won it either way.

Congratulations to Manchester City!

Massive congratulations to Pep's team though. They've exceptionally well this season. Tottenham played well too but I felt they would've been a lot better with Mourinho still in charge of the squad. At least he would have come up with a good strategy that would land them the trophy at least. Anyway, the EFL cup is one of the trophies Man city will be picking up this season. There's still the premier league title which they're very close to winning. Not forgetting the fact that city is one of the best team in the Champions league semi final.

Ouep congrats for City winning the EFL Cup although it is not very interesting. Spurs sacked Mourinho because of ESL, or at least what I heard talking about, in addition to the bad results.
Congrats also for City for seeing ManU dropping 2 points vs Leeds, they are now 1 step closer to win EPL title too. Otherwise this round is quite bad for many teams except Chelsea mainly.

Manchester City achieved the League Cup after defeating Tottenham with a goal .
This is the best preparation to face Paris Saint Germain after 3 days and a moral boost in order to quickly end the league title struggle .
Tottenham failed again to raise the cup they were dreaming of .
I don’t know but I felt that Mourinho was the one who should have led the team today and after, so that his fate would be determined.
Good performance from Mahrez I belleive he is the star of the match.

Spurs, even without Mou you tried to bring this game to a grinding draw but you know you're entertaining a shitty defeat if you defend against Citeh like this. Happy they won't get the quadruple but still hate seeing them get this trophy.

Liverpool managed to ruin my weekend again - collecting 5 out of possible 27 points at home in 2021 is a relegation team statistics. It is hard to say this - but we did not earn to be in the CL.

We've had bad Anfield days before but I honestly can't remember a worst run of home results... I know we already broke our own unwanted record for most losing streaks at home since 30/40 years -- so for sure I already live through that bad record, but it really does feel like our biggest strength became our biggest weakness this season. No 13th man has really sapped the soul out of our team. I mean did you see the way we played injury time? As if WE were the ones fighting relegation. Definitely hard to say it, but yeah, Klopp's right we do not deserve to play CL like this. And our owners want to form ESL? What a laugh...
