It was really nice to see that Werner scored after 7 games in the Premier League. I hope it gives him motivation and confidence for the games ahead of him. Before the game vs Real Madrid, Chelsea got a really nice win. And after this result, Chelsea have taken the 4th place from West Ham.

At last, a goal (and a vital one) from Timo Werner after a long time. Big win for Chelsea and despite West Ham played with 10 men, I never think that Chelsea will not win this.

Chelsea won and they deserved it. They won by only one goal but they missed 2 easy positions, score difference could've been more. West Ham couldn't do much after they went down to 10 men. This loss hurt West Ham so bad, their Champions League qualification target is harder to achieve now. Chelsea was their direct opponent for 4th place race.

I was already surprised when I saw the odds. Chelsea were very overwhelmingly the favorite. But West Ham and Chelsea both had the same points in the table. And West Ham actually had a decent form recently excluding the Newcastle match before this one. I was expecting Chelsea to rotate the squad also as they have a Champions League match against Real in only 3 days. But they didn't prefer doing it. It was a tough match and Chelsea managed to get a 1-0 win.

I don't know if Liverpool isn't aware of their present situation right now, this is a vital information Liverpool team have to discuss about because it might affect them negativity, Manchester United is doing well and will not want to drop a point in the crash, I will be expecting a draw in this match.

Tuchel is truly responsible for the Chelsea's miracle after Frankie Lamapard got sacked back in January.
Premier League is not a goal since a while now but Tuchel's Chelsea may win Champions League so it will interesting to see if he can make it.
Next year, Chelsea will become again a problem for Man City and Man Utd.

Chelsea is one of the most competitive team this season with Thomas Tuchel out to make a point and price to the Chelsea management that it was a matter of technique and his actually the best coach for the job of the moment. He's been doing great to put forth his boys on the pitch and with the right mentality of they can win. As such, the team has taken the EPL and FA Cup to heart. It might seem like the citizens has got the EPL covered with the point difference at the moment but, I'm beginning to doubt that with there game plans these days. There game with Aston Villa wasn't a very amazing one, they won by a goal and chance too. Manchester City's focus iss more on the UCL and are very much relaxed on the EPL. This is giving other teams the mindset to see the league as still open and aren't just committing for the top 4 no more but, to gain in on points and eventually the trophy.
Chelsea was out today and have won themselves another 3 points over West ham United to keep their lead in the league.

Mathematically far from over, but I really can't see how Liverpool can qualify on their own. We had two huge chances to jumpfrog Hammers, not sure where else you can find them losing 2 games in a row, same as Chelsea. Destiny's not in our hands, so we just need to find a way to win and not concede goals.

Can't fault chances, but don't know what else to do but get past this season. Maybe Klopp's right after all. We don't deserve CL like this.

They've put themselves in a decent position today, but it's still all to play for.

Chelsea certainly still have to fight hard enough in the EPL because they have to fight Manchester City, Arsenal and Leicester. They will definitely find it very difficult there to win everything because those opponent will be directing all their best strength for the rest of the season. Chelsea are not completely safe in 4th position at the moment.

It seems like this season has been a very interesting season, because the top-ranking teams are dominated by big-name teams but they will continue to compete until the end. There is still one place open for promotion to the Europa League and it will be contested by big teams like Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham but for the top four, maybe Chelsea can still finish third but it looks like that will not be a problem for Leicester too.

Liverpool had the chance of sliding into the top 4 by winning the match against Newcastle, but messed
it up. Salah scored 3 minutes into the game, I though the game was a victory for Liverpool already.
But just few minutes towards the end of the match, Gayle assisted Willock into scoring. Ending the match with a 1-1 draw.

Liverpool's next match, which is against Manchester United will be difficult for them to win. And If they lose, they risk their chance of getting qualify for UCL next season.

If Chelsea hold on to win, that's makes it even tighter in that race for fourth spot. Liverpool and Spurs have played a game more than Chelsea or West Ham, which could yet prove crucial with only a few games left until the end of the season. I am starting to think though that Leicester look strong favourites to secure third place, it's still open, but they really look a decent bet.

Of course that's ridiculous, mate. I never even thought that today they have to end the match with a draw. It is very difficult to predict the outcome Liverpool will get this season because almost every time they face an easy opponent it is not what we expected. If Liverpool still want to play in the champions league next season, then the only way is to win all the remaining match. I'm not sure they'll be able to do it perfectly.

I agree with new players that every season there should be new players unfortunately Liverpool is not the type of club that likes to hunt players
they prefer to invest in players for example buying young players and then selling them when they reach the best performance.

Its a different story between Liverpool and Dortmund. Liverpool had alot of injuries back then and even when most of the players are already fit enough to play, those losses leave a scar for the players and affect the mentality. It could be a different next season but its kinda weird today that both Jota and Firmino start together and Jota didnt start as a striker but Firmino instead (?)
