Interesting to notice that in the top five scorers there is no one from Manchester City and this means that the citizens spread their scoring in every players categories. Manchester City also scored the most in Premier League (64 goals) and therefore all these guys are goal machines

It must be making them feel very great.  Grin  I think it is very nice to get efficiency from many players in the lineup when it comes to scoring. Because it means that you aren't depending on only few players for scoring. For such teams, there is a huge problem when those players get injured. However, I still expect City to make a very good striker transfer this summer. They will be in the race for Haaland surely. If it doesn't happen, then I wonder which player they will go for.

This is not new, people wanted Ole to be fired at the start of the season when United started bad as well, after just 9 games everyone was saying he should be fired, but look at them now, sure they are not winning the title because City is so good, but they are second after City which should be a shock because everyone assumed LFC and City would be one two, so United is overachieving what people expected of them to do. They are doing fine on Europa as well, they had one of the toughest picks last time and managed to win over Milan, now they are playing Granada which will be more than easy if you ask me.

I think they will end up with a good place on europa cup (or maybe even win if they are lucky) and end up at champions league level from the league as well in the top 4 for sure, those are things that mean United played better than expected.

Yeah, but that's a different United who weren't playing like they are these days. Like you said, now they're on fire, they're playing well, are supposedly Europe's most sustainable team (I know, crazy but true), and yet that's got the plastic fans asking for his head on a chopping block.

I still hate them but I think I detest more these fans who just have no hold of reality or what life is behind the manager's badge or how the gaffer isn't as replaceable as they think.

Anyway, enough of Utd talk. Think I talked about them more than I need to this year already haha!

OGS already did it well. United can focus on UEL now. United under OG is still premature for multi-competition.
OGS still building the team. 2 days of rest is not good for players' fitness. however, it shouldn't be an excuse for a team like United.
OGS needs to equalize his first team and the backup team. the gap is too far by performance.
My thoughts too, so it's a total shame to see fans call for the heads of their managers when they actually have this much success. And style of play too, they must have forgot for a long time United were playing negative football passing side and back instead of going forward. Success takes time and rebuilds take time before going multi-comp as you say!

Just waiting for few weeks later Manchester City become the champion of primer league after their competitor Manchester United left many points from Manchester City, although Manchester United success defeat Manchester City but still less possible chance with good performance keeping by City make them still safety on the top fixture until now.

This season, Man City's performance is very stable, and they only need 5 more wins to come out as EPL champions. If Man City gets 5 wins, then they will reach 86 points, so even though Man United and Leicester can get full points in each of their remaining games, their points are still below Man City.

I think with Man City's current performance, it is possible for them to realize 5 wins from 8 matches remaining.

Ndidi has to be one of the top 5 defensive midfielders in the world at the moment. He was everywhere.
He is black and black players are not given the praise they deserved, he is currently the best DM in the league this season but you would never see the English media hyping him, but you see Daclan Rice on the media every weekend.

Ole Gunnar who decided to be a complete disappointed yesterday. Ole showed poor tactical knowledge and knowledge about his players strength and weaknesses. Playing Pogba on that wing was a terrible idea. Ole could have done better. He should do better
You guys should give Ole a break man!! That wàs the same place he played pogba against AC Milan and everything worked out just fine. You guys should learn to accept defects when you lost to a better team. Leicester outclassed and were the better team to proceed.

Happy for Spurs to win, which I bet on, except the worst thing was, I parlayed it with Arsenal heh;)
Two useless teams in London.

But Villa away was very tricky so I'm happy we sneaked past!

I’m not surprised that Man U lost their quarter final match to Leicester, it only shows one thing that the coach is not experienced and capable of leading Man U to any glory.. think about it they can win man city and other big games but when it comes to a point when the supporters need them the most he find it difficult to deliver.. same incident happened in the champions league group stage when they needed a draw to qualify.. I think Man U should sack ole once the season is over.

It was obvious that it was gonna be a very hard quarter final match for Manchester Utd. But I wasn't expecting them to be eliminated this easy with a 3-1 result. They are having one of their best season compared to last years in the EPL but City pulled away from them very early. When it comes to the CL, they could have done better things than ending the group as the 3rd. They have a stronger squad than Leipzig but they couldn't manage to do it too. I don't know whether they would think of sacking Ole. Maybe they could give him a second chance for the sake of EPL.

It looks like they will easily beat the  Slavia Praha team in the quarter finals of the Europa League.
Not with that kind of first half defense.

^I'm pleased to see the Red Devils crash out, but I'm pretty disappointed that the fans are calling for his head now. You guys are challenging for Europa honours and are the favourites after kicking out AC Milan. You did rest some players but still had a strong enough team and hey, you lost to a good side today. You're favs for 2nd place and mathematically could pip City... why kick OGS out now? Who do you think is good enough to replace him?
Every team has their own emotional die hard fans that will axe any manager when they lose Grin As far as I can tell, OGS has done well with Man United despite leaving CL and FA Cup earlier than what's expected of them this season.

I do not see tottenham finishing in 4th position, for the following reasons:
Why Tottenham can not? Liverpool is in worse position than Tottenham and Everton can have more points than Liverpool as they only played 28 matches.

Quote
1 - Liverpool have 46 points and even if they are bad this season, they can still finish in 4 position and for liverpool to get 4 position, they have to show determination and beat Arsenal in the next game

2 - West ham has 49 points and their next opponent will be the wolves who are not doing well, I believe West Ham will win the game against the wolves

3 - everton can also finish in 4 position, everton has had a very bad performance in the last games, but he can improve in the next 2 games and in the third game he will have to face tottenham

4 - chelsea will not drop the 4 position easily
Liverpool might spend more power to the Champions League with Real Madrid is waiting. I think the three clubs: Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool will have very close competition for the fourth position. I don't underestimate West Ham and Everton but in such competition, big clubs can have advantage from their experience. In many seasons, Everton and West Ham were not in such dramatic competition.

Surprise can come but let's see how Leicester City lost all to Manchester United in the past season.

I don't know but the honeymoon of Tuchel is long and will he keep it next 8 matches? It will be a big surprise and a big success for Abramovich.

De Gea wouldn't have conceded that goal no matter what. I agree that Henderson is a good goal keeper as I stated earlier but he has to work hard. He has got big shoes to fill. De Gea was a legend for the red devils and his legacy will live on. Now is Henderson chance to make his mark.

De Gea is a great goalkeeper. But as a goalkeeper, you need to lead your defenders. maybe De Gea has a problem communicating with the guys in front of him.
take a look at Sergio Romero's clean sheets stats at united in the past.

Mourinho did it again this time, conquered a great victory against Aston Villa. Tottenham is now only 3 points behind Chelsea, which means the Champions League.

4 - chelsea will not drop the 4 position easily

lastly tottenham will have an easy game against newcastle where they can win easily, but then they will have a very difficult game against manchester united where they can lose, I see tottenham finishing in the 6 or 7 position

On a different note and for what is worth, Manchester City is sailing to the title with so many points ahead of their cousins.

who could have imagined that City could be so far away, when the season started City was not even above position 5, I would not even imagine that liverpool could be below position 4 and City surpass liverpool.

Leaving all the "arsenal is a better team historically" things aside because we all know that history means nothing and west ham is 5th while arsenal is 10th in the league right now so that doesn't mean anything at all that Arsenal was more successful in the past.
Arsenal like the other big teams in the premier league do have a rich history. I can think back to the days of Thierry Henry and Nwankwo Kanu. It was a blast to watch the gunners play. Arsene Wenger was the best manager for the club. He understood what the club wanted and the business side of things. Right now the gunners are no where near what they used to be. But for the fans in times like this its no shame to pride in past glories

Of course, you should not discount Tottenham and for sure Mourinho's team will definitely fight for a place in the Champions League. By the way, there was a rumor that Harry Kane wants to leave Tottenham because he wants to fight for trophies and is not sure that he will be able to do it at the current club. Another question is that such a question is unlikely because of the position of the club, which is not ready to sell a player for less than 120 million pounds. In any case, the loss of such a player would be a big minus for Tottenham.

After playing poorly against Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham managed to get up and beat Aston Villa. This shows Tottenham want to chase
Chelsea to get a Champions League spot, especially if Tottenham fail next season to play in the Champions League. There is a possibility that
the rumors of Harry Kane's move might come true. Moreover, like you said Harry Kane wanted to move to a stronger team to be able to fight for
the trophy. Which is very difficult to achieve with Tottenham. But if Tottenham lose Harry Kane the effect will be very significant, because as we all
know Harry Kane contributed a lot to Tottenham.

The only reason that Chelsea gets the 4th spot was because West Ham didnt get 3 points . Also Liverpool and Everton are on 46 points, 2 points below Tottenham so you can expect this to be interesting. Chelsea wouldnt give up their spot for sure and I dont think West Ham are done, it would be great to another underdog taking the top 4 spot this season ( West Ham was 16th last season )

On a different note and for what is worth, Manchester City is sailing to the title with so many points ahead of their cousins.

11 points exactly if Manchester United win the next match against Brighton which is likely to happen
