There are still 2 big matches against Leicester City and Chelsea. It is too early to say if Man City will win all remaining matches. While other weaker teams, I am pretty sure that Man City will win all the matches. However, although Man City only wins 5 remaining matches, I think it is enough to make Man City be the winner of the Premier League title this season. Not really necessary to win 6 matches in a row.
5 wins wont be enough if the other matches are loses. City still has 9 matches remaining while United and Leicester still has 10 matches remaining. Mathematically speaking, if City wins 5 only out of 9 while the other 4 are loses then their final points will be 68+15 = 83. On the other side, if United wins all the remaining matches then their final points will be 54+30= 84. Indeed it is almost impossible to happen but it is just about winning calculation by simple math. To make it simple, City needs 17 more points so even if United win all their remaining matches then City is still the Champion as they have +1 final points if they gets additional 17 points while United get 30 additional points.
But in my opinion, the 17 points needed by City to be the winner are not that difficult if you see the team's performance which is quite stable so far. United also may not win all the remaining matches, so City has a great opportunity. Extra hard work for United to overtake City, and they must continue to create their strategies in order to be winners. Because one strategy is wrong, they must be satisfied enough to be runner-up.
