I didn't think MU would win. My prediction is a draw. But I am happy with this result, their point difference is getting closer. This makes the opportunity to pursue Point Man City even greater. I don't understand why Man City seems unlucky, he has the possession ball. There were also a lot of attempted kicks on their goal. If Man City's performance continues then MU can win the championship this season.

The counter-attack strategy adopted by Man United seems to have defeated Man City. By lining up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and changing to a 4-5-1 formation while defending (without the ball), this formation managed to withstand the incessant attacks launched by Man City.

The fast counter-attack that Man United has often played lately (as against Sociedad) finally led to the second goal for Man United in the 49th minute. Starting from a free-kick that was obtained by Man City, the ball was caught by Dean Henderson then the ball was thrown to Luke Shaw. From the left, Luke Shaw dribbled forward quickly and the neat collaboration between Luke Shaw and Rashford in the Man City penalty area successfully created the 2nd goal for Man United.

Today, 2 hard games between Chelsea - Everton and West Ham - Leeds, can't pick who will win honestly. Chelsea and WHU maybe? Not sure at all.
I am more waiting for the Chelsea vs Everton match, this is a game that is very much awaited to fight for points to get further away.
Currently Chelsea are still above Everton by 1 point, but if Chelsea brings 3 points it will be more meaningful and reduce with the 3rd standings. I am sure Chelsea's pursuit this season is far more than before.
I see Tuchel has big ambitions in this regard, the adaptation of a coach to players is so fast that Chelsea are back to the better.

In fact, MU has successfully broken the dominance 21 the winning of The City. The city fans would be crying at the podium ( if the city to be the premier league champion either). Bruyne said; this game for who the best in Manchester. So, who the best? MU is the best, whoever the champions.

Martial, as always loves trying to get a penalty, and also loves failing to score in a 1-on-1 situation.

as a United fan, I feel like we are in the same phase as Liverpool during their bad season in the past.
your team can be in the middle of the table, but simply just don't lose against rivals Grin

Man City is still in their overpower mode. 11 points ahead and 10 matches left. they can even take a break sunbathing on the field next week against Southampton.

Chelsea vs Everton tonight will be interesting to watch, a battle for the big four positions.
Chelsea 1.58 - Draw 3.94 - Everton 6.2
Why Chelsea is so dominant with the odds?

Being 11 points ahead Manchester City will have to focus and make use of a clear strategy that goes as far as implementing a risk management approach for every game they play until the end. Considering they are also running for Champions League it is more important than ever to allow key players to rest before big games or their poor performances could lead to lose vital points along the way.
Like I said earlier I think the citizens should not worry too much about the lost derby, that was only one game after all.

Yeah its getting closer until you realized that 11 points difference equal to Manchester City losing 4 matches and also there are only 10 matches left this season. Manchester City couldnt possibly lose 4 matches, I can totally understand if City lose to Chelsea or Leicester but definitely not to the other team so you can pretty much say that Manchester City wins the league already

Im a long time fan of Manchester United as well but gotta admit that Manchester City is way better this season

Yes, as long as Man City players are not affected by yesterday's defeat, then I am also sure that City's victory will become clearer.

The unexpected defeat of Manchester City surprised me very much. I hope this will not continue. Unfortunately, Liverpool cannot come to their senses. If it goes on like this, Liverpool may drop even lower in the table. And I am very happy for Tottenham. I hope they will be able to get there this year into the top four.

It was one of the biggest surprises of this match week. I was expecting Manchester Utd to score but to win this? Hell no!  Grin  It was a big shock for City that Manchester Utd got a penalty in the second minute and B. Fernandes scored it. L. Shaw's goal was also right in the corner that Ederson had nothing to do. City missed unbelievable chances and lost this. The result Liverpool got was another surprise. They were terrible on finding the target again and got another loss. On the other hand, Tottenham had a great match that they totally deserved it. Bale scored 2 goals which was great but I think the man of the match was definitely Kane. He got 2 assists and 2 goals - one of which was delightful to see.

Liverpool played 28 games while the 4 teams in front of it and Villa behind it played 1-2 games less. They risk staying 8th for a while or even dropping in case of another defeat..
Spurs won and made my day after Liverpool and City defeats.

Man City were always going to lose a game eventually, I think they would have preferred it not to be their enemies from Manchester also though. I think the top 4 will be Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Leicester. No room fir Spurs sadly.

The unexpected defeat of Manchester City surprised me very much.

Wel... They can't win forever, it was expected that at any moment they wouldn't win. Of course, I also hoped that "no-win" would be a draw, not a defeat with two goals difference.

At least, City can say that they lost to a strong team that they're second on the table.
City is 11 points ahead, as long as the players' morale is not affected, they can still win.
Yes, as long as Man City players are not affected by yesterday's defeat, then I am also sure that City's victory will become clearer.  Man United are still lucky enough to win that match and I think it will end in a draw.  Whatever the story, I'm still betting on City's victory in the Premier League.  Only a few games to go, then Man City will definitely win.

The unexpected defeat of Manchester City surprised me very much.

I was also very surprised about it as City were seeming like unstoppable. They actually found so many goal chances but they still couldn't even score one goal. Manchester Utd got a huge 2-0 win and have made the point difference 11 now. As long as City have a good form and Manchester Utd don't continue to win, there is no way that this gap can be closed.

^  And here’s the funny bit..  DDG wasn’t playing.  I was so sure City could get a couple of goals in and concede none.  Lol.  City to win to nil was the bet for me if I had bet it.  Lol.

But good to see Henderson getting a bit of play time.  He deserves better and be first 11 at some other club.

Another 4 goals from my team last night, so happy that we're getting back into form at the right time too since we're deep into the season now. Top 4 still is a huge challenge but we just need to keep winning games like last night and keep scoring! Bale getting on two goals again is also pleasing for sure for Mou, even though it seems he won't stay:(

For the Manchester derby, I don't think Manchester City are lucky enough to keep winning game consistently. Manchester United won the match not because they performed better than Manchester City, they were only lucky since the penalty was given by the referee. But I don't think Manchester City's morale has collap just because of this defeat. They will fix it in the next game.

Man City's winning streak was finally broken by Man United. It was the third defeat suffered by Man City this season, where previously Man City suffered defeats against Tottenham Hotspur (22 November 2020) and Leicester (27 September 2020).

Before losing for the third time (against Man United), Man City has made 17 wins and 2 draws in their last 19 matches at the EPL. Even though they have been defeated by Man United, Man City still leads far ahead of Man United with 11 points difference, and I think with only 10 games left, the team which has a great chance to win the EPL this season is still Man City.

At this point, I can't even say what's wrong with our team. Our loss to Fulham marks our 6th consecutive home loss.

I hadn't realised it was quite that bad! I've had a look and here are those results. Six consecutive home league defeats is relegation form. It's unbelievable.

January 2021
Thu 21st: Burnley, H 0 - 1

February 2021
Wed 3rd: Brighton & Hove Albion, H 0 - 1
Sun 7th: Manchester City, H 1 - 4
Sat 20th: Everton, H 0 - 2

March 2021
Thu 4th: Chelsea, H 0 - 1
Sun 7th: Fulham H 0 - 1

Yeah. We have been that bad. Klopp has tried several rotations to the team and introduced a couple of other strategies. I'm not sure it's working out well so far considering our recent, terrible results. I feel he just needs to change his gameplay as most teams are already used to our current tactics. The reason why we aren't in relegation zone right now or close to it is because we did quite well in the first half of the season.... I can recall that we were on top of the table for both Christmas and new year but it got bad towards the second half of the season.

Losing six consecutive home games means we've lost 18 valuable points at home.
Liverpool team is broken beyond belief. Comfortably losing to relegation teams means that AT BEST Liverpool has relegation form. They just randomly glued 11 players in a sheet who have never played together putted on a Liverpool kit.

This is not just a drop in form due to injury. Only something catastrophic that we do not know about can explain what has happened. While I believe there was a noticeable drop in form when we initially returned from break due to Corona Virus.
They look like they don't like playing with each other.
I can only begin to speculate what has caused a team that was at the top of the table at the start of the New Year and with a home streak of 50+ matches without a loss to losing 6 in a row at home shortly thereafter to teams at the bottom of the table.
A lot of players need to never get any minute again so things must to start to change up.

And to add to that, I think we scored 8 goals in the last 12 league home games. Don't know what to say, I'm devastated.
Form is temporary [I'm sure they'll bounce back at some point].
- Same happened to Arsenal and we're still in the recovery process.

City did not score at least 1 goal, and manchester united achieved an excellent victory and without conceding a goal despite facing a great opponent like CitY
Even if it was a 180-minute game, City wouldn't be able to score a single goal [no end product despite creating a lot of chances].

Chelsea Vs Everton

What do you think about this match? Who do you suggest will win?
None of them... I'm expecting a draw with both teams to score.
- Both are fighting for a UCL spot, so it's going to be a tight game.

West ham vs Leeds is also another great game for today...
- I'm expecting West ham to bounce back and win it by 2+ goals.

Now Klopp are in an unenviable position because his team has become a laughingstock.
At the time of success, he was the reason of it and now is the time of failure. he bear a large part of it, because regardless of the injuries, this topic is repeated with him for the second time after Dortmund and Liverpool in its worst conditions, offering better football than what it currently offers !!
I am not with his dismissal, but I am with putting a large part of what is happening today with a team that overnight turned from a genie into a ghost !!
Actually, I never hope Klopp to be expelled from LFC at the end of the season as a coach because of his recent poor performance. The dismissal may still be a consideration for LFC management if Klopp fails to bring the team to the top 4. Before that happened, Klopp and LFC still had a chance to make thing right and he had the opportunity to do that only because he was still at UCL. Klopp's main focus may be at UCL as the EPL cannot possibly hope to finish first.

For the Manchester derby, I don't think Manchester City are lucky enough to keep winning game consistently.
