Newcastle goal keeper was at the top of his best yesterday, he made lots of vital saves that made the match to end in a draw, on the other hand I don't agree with you that Liverpool is the strongest team in epl this season, they tend not to play as a much title challenger this season, don't write off the likes of Leicester City, if they don't win the epl I think top 4 is sure for them

The Premier League is still weird after the last round. Solsa and Manchester United suddenly have a second position and see chance to fight for the Premier League trophy. In the last season, during very last matches, when Bruno lost his energy and good forms, Manchester United had many troubles. If they won't improve they will get troubles again. Mourinho situation is complicated, tottenham is in a position to question whether they can have any chance of winning the premier league. drew with cristal palace, lost against liverpoool, lost against leicester and drew against Wolves and is now in position 7. next game will be against Leeds and with the postponement of the game against Aston villa it could be a chance for tottenham players to relax and start to correct the mistakes so that the victories return because in the current scenario tottenham will not be champion of the premier league

That's definitely not an excuse for Liverpool, the Christmas schedule is always hectic, not just for Liverpool, but for all 20 teams, they had to beat Newcastle yesterday, and imo, there's no excuse for not doing that. The EPL is so unpredictable this season and I don't think there's any favorites for the title, if Liverpool continues with this performance, then I don't think they'll be able to retain their title, if City and United win the outstanding games they have, then they are right up there with Liverpool. It's going to be one of the most interesting title races we've had in a long while, that's if covid-19 doesn't stop the league sooner rather than later. 
Matchday 16 was low scoring and only Leeds managed an over 2 goals. Players will have few more days rest before matchday 17 and hopefully everyone recovers so we could more entertaining games goals wise. RIP to those "massacred" bettors from all the draws hehe. Until next year!

Nothing is actually wrong with Liverpool; its just reality setting in with the squad. Everyone in the English Premier League understands that Liverpool plays out wide and spam crosses from the left, right and central and every team that has matched that and prevented Liverpool have gotten a win or draw against them. And with jota missing, Liverpool has been unable to diversify their tactics.

Yup. Two straight games of crappy performances. Don't think I've ever seen so many Hendo bad passes in a single game. It wasn't even as if Newcastle were playing well at all but they could have snatched the game with the way we were playing. I remember the shitty passing at the back Milner barely reached at some point in first half.

Nah, its going to be a while before Manchester United claim the top spot. Currently Liverpool is 3 points ahead of Manchester United and the next match is going to be a tough one against Aston Villa. Even if Manchester United win in this match and Liverpool lose against Southampton, Liverpool will still be on top of the league because Liverpool is ahead on score differences
