Spurs were boring as hell, it’s what Mourinho does though & he’s done it his whole career. City are really struggling this season, they’re not out of the title race but they need to fix up sharp.
we have to congratulate Mourinho for the excellent performance he is having this season, they are in the first position of the premier league and with this current good performance they are having they can be champions if they continue like this and if big teams like City, Liverpool and and chelsea lose some games. I as a fan of liverpool will be very happy if liverpool becomes a champion again, but I admit that this season things have not been as good for liverpool as last season
Lastly I believe that it’s time we all acknowledge that Tottenham has an excellent chance of winning the premier league, and I’ll be absolutely delighted for Mourinho if he can win it again.
Of course after their win against City and now top of the table with 20 points and just one loss thus far this season, I can say Spurs are also in the title race, unless they capitulate as the season goes on, but with the motivation Mourinho will be giving his players, I think they'll be in it till the final week of this season. They have beaten United and now City, that's two big wins and that's definitely a statement sent to everyone in the league.Having said that, I know pep just signed a contract extension with City, but he really needs to fix his team, or there could be questions if City needs a new manager, they are doing too bad, and they spent well to bring new players into the squad, the club needs trophies to justify the money being spent, the season is still long, but if they keep dropping points like this, they'll be out of the race by early next year.

@Xavofat just before this match Mourinho had claimed that his side is even better than the side that had beaten Manchester City last season, and yesterday’s match showed exactly what he meant, because beating Manchester City 2 - 0 is not easy. Beside one goal in the offside position and one goad was not recognized, Mancity almost was hard to deploy their attacks and Kevin De Bruyne was be alone and there is no good partner. Mourinho is really an old fox when use the sharp counter-attack gameplay by putting Gareth Bale on the bench and replace with Steven Bergwijn . And the win of Tottenham is worth completely
with 2 goals to ZERO... I feel it after the first goal in the 5th minute by Son and the game was promising as I said. No comment!

Chelsea on the other hand are doing a great job claiming all 3 points in there recent games and have won yet another game against Newcastle with a Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea win.

Mourinho has a library of defensive wining, right from his time at FC porto, it has worked in some games and it has failed in some games, I will admit that his side today game against city was another revelation of his defensive wining style, but what I don't admit it not acknowledging spurs attacking power this season, kane and son has become the must see attacking duo in world football, and times when the loose up in defense the suffered and mourinho made sure that did not happen this season, after pep re-signing two years, two goal to nil not how to start it, now Liverpool will retain their title.

I have got to admit that Son Heung-min is having a form of his life. This season's partnership with Harry Kane seems to work like magic. I think it should not surprise anyone how mourinho sets up his team to play, especially when it is a top match. Mourinho on the pitch can indeed be classified as boring. But in reality, MOURINHO Tactically outwitted pep, with 2 un replied goals. Football this season, especially after the covid 19 pandemic, does not care how you win, as long as you can get a cleansheet and the 3 points.

How do you even made this call? They only won once before this game and clearly they are not the favourites to win the game. Not to mention that Aston Villa was doing good few weeks ago despite keep losing recently.
Mourinho is the real special one there are no doubts. Look at Spurs how good their defense is and even if the statistics are 90% for City , they simply cannot score or create real goal chances and this became frustrating for the players and just a little mistake, could cost you a 2nd goal which indeed happened a couple of minutes ago.
The ball possession statistic was 66% for Manchester City but it was around 70% before the second goal. This is clearly Mourinho's Specialty. Dont you remember that he used the same strategy when he was coaching Chelsea? It was the Champions League Final iirc
Kane and Son duo is great this season and this prove that there is no spot for Bale on the starting squad unless Son isnt fit to play
