I was certain Arsenal would win this game but it just shows that they are nowhere near ready to challenge for the title under Arteta.

Arsenal is going through a very tough time now. They aren't the poor team here but they have failed to secure wins. They seemed good at last match but the defense was lacking some confidence. They played the ball well but that self goal by the defender made their morale down for the whole game. It was a competitive game and Aston Villa surely is a strong team in this league.

The result Man City vs Liverpool 1-1 so Leicester still in top for a while, many results of this season beyond unexpected, I thought Liverpool will win this match especially seeing the CL results where they could win by 5 goals but it didn't.
The match was not that interesting to watch, I took some time off my work to watch it and was a bit disappointed. Seemed like both teams decided that 1-1 is ok score to held onto in the last 30 minutes of the match. For Liverpool this might even be true, but Man City should've risked more.

I feel with you... With this level of inconsistency it's really hard to bet
Villa going from crushing Liverpool, to losing to Leeds and Southampton to winning against Arsenal again. But yeah, Arsenal isn't really in form lately, we could have expected that they get problems with Aston Villa. I was just hoping that they at least score once tonight.

I backed Spurs (even though they're a toss-up almost every week) in a single bet [asian handicap -1 at 1.78 odds], and good thing Kane scored, means i got my stake back, stake that i will probably not place on any Spurs bet slips until next year loldidn't watch City - Liverpool, but from what i'm reading on social media, 2nd half was kind of a borefest? i guess both squads are pretty tired right now, you usually expect high intensity from both teams :/
