I swear, they scare me as f**k! So, I just skip them. Especially when they are playing against teams like Wolves for instance. I just run out on predictions. Can't risk it when a team lacks consistency.

Yes, that's one of the reasons why I always try to avoid them. Their performances are largely inconsistent. There were games last season that everyone thought that they would win easily to ended up either with a draw or loss.  This season might be different but we won't know until they play a couple of matches.

Though, chelsea's combination doesn't seem to merge a lot to me but, chelsa games are often quite entertaining as well.

Lampard haven't rolled them out yet. The list is missing Pulisic so this is how the attacking line of Chelsea will look Pulisic-Werner-Ziyech. These 3 will combine really well. (...)

A partnership like that would work if they learn how to work together and understand themselves. That's one of the things that made Liverpool's frontline so lethal over the past couple of years. If they do partner well upfront, they could be Premier League's most lethal frontline this season. Pulisic has provided himself already with some nice display last season.  Not sure he will be available for the Chelsea vs Liverpool game at Stamford Bridge this Sunday.

Seconded. Manchester United loses games where you expect them to shine. It's the reason why I don't put them in any of my accumulation as it has happened to me one too many times. This is their first game though so I expect more from them (like a win).

We have already seen how fast Werner is in 1st match. I actually thought he would have trouble getting settled but in that match he was on whole next level.
What about Havertz? He is their most expensive signature so I am quite sure he will play as well. In the first match he was deployed on right wing (Ziyech position) and that is probably his best position if Chelsea continues to play 4-3-3 and they more or less have to after what they did in this transfer window. Maybe he can play as most attacking from the 3 players in midfield with Kante and Kovacic behind him. If Chelsea goes for that option Mount will probably lose lots of playing minutes.

My prediction as per winning and score line on premier league this Saturday.

12:30 Everton 2-1 West Bromwich Albion
15:00 Leeds United 3-1 Fulham

Who agrees or disagrees with me?
Drop your predictions. Looking to make a bet.
Your predictions are good and I am feeling tomorrow we are going to have all Home wins as Manchester United vs Crystal Palace and Arsenal vs West Ham all are going for one side affair as these giants want to have some good edge so they will try to catch this and going with full points most probably with clean sheets.

Chelsea are adding a lot of players in a short time, it’s difficult to buy so many & expect them to gel straight away.
It might take a while to build team chemistry & know each others game.

That's why friendly games come to play.
They have all the time to get used to each other in trainings and friendly games.
Chelsea is neither the first nor the last team that has signed so many played in one transfer window. The have to succeed as other teams have done in the past.

If Bale can fit and play at least 30 matches, I am sure that spurs will be a serious contender for the top 3/4.
I cant wait to watch his first match.
I also expect bale to join Man u, to get extra boost and squad depth for EPL and UCL.
adding bale to current spurs formation will made a good difference on spurs EPL this seasson table.
he had stong point in playing technique, stamina, serve and free kick accuracy.  those are of the player pieces that spurs lacking last seasson.
even though I hated Morinho's tactics, I think Mourinho will adapting the tactics to maximize his abilities if Bale joins the Spurs.
Bale is going to be a phenomenal player as he once was in Madrid and and would definitely add some spice to premier league. Your sure to expect his very best and I'll be watching out for him too. Speedy legs in Spurs team this season.

(...)
Son - Kane - Bale for Spurs
Werner - Ziyech - Abraham for Chelsea
Aubameyang - Lacazette - Willian for Arsenal
Mane- Firmino - Salah for Liverpool
Rashford - Martial - Greenwood for Manchester United
Sterling - G. Jesus - B. Silva for Manchester City
Of these lists of combined team strikers, I'll watch out for
Spurs,
Arsenal,
Liverpool and
Manchester city
For ultimate entertainment from there forwards. Though, chelsea's combination doesn't seem to merge a lot to me but, chelsa games are often quite entertaining as well.

I don't know it's just me but I feel out of the listed teams, Liverpool frontline ~ Mane + Salah + Firmino is becoming a lil bit cliche. They've all featured for Liverpool since the 2017 - 2018 campaign. I just wish we would get another forward to compete with Firmino for the top 9 spot.

For Chelsea's frontline, I think you forgot Pulisic. I consider him one of Chelsea's finest since the day he devoured Liverpool's defense almost 2 months ago.

I am doubtful of Man Utd. Vs Crystal Palace, rest seems would go the way as predicted. Man Utd. have classic way of messing games and Crystal Palace isn't an easy target.

Nice. Sergio Reguilon is going to Spurs with his as well. Didn't think this would happen but I guess Real caved and figured they might as well let someone pay a little of his wages rather than keep him on the bench the entire season. I wonder if he'll be ready to play in the game on Sunday. Seems a bit of a stretch but the article says he's flying over on Friday. Spurs probably won't need him for Southampton but losing to Watford last weekend doesn't give me that much faith in them.
Bale is not ready for the coming match, I doubt that he can join the match. The debut for Bale return can be happened next week. Spurs is a best choice for Bale, the league, the club from which he built up his career and position as top stars.

You would certainly be a good couch I swear. That your three man striker would up the odds for spurs certain. With Gareth Bale and Son as wingers and kane to receive all the crossing. I'm sure he would be fed enough of it and those two wingers are also good at taking chances when they see them.
Everything else is left in the hands of Jose Mourinho though, sometimes he's just good at ruining games for himself.
Three guys are fitted with Mourinho's counter-attack tactic. Two speedy guys on wing areas and sensitive striker. More than enough for Mourinho. The problem is from defense system of Spurs. Their central defenders are not quick enough and it is weakness of Spurs.

here are the head to heads for tomorrow

Everton vs West brom: Everton new acquisition Rodriguez was in good form in their last game, so was their strikers just for some goal missed, Everton where good, west brim on the contrary did not have a good last game with Leicester city, they lost by 3 goals and did not score. I predict a win for EVERTON

Leeds vs Fulham: both new-promoted to the English premier league but only one for good in their last game, Leeds attacks and man marking was something we see from a big team, Fulham has fair possession against Arsenal meaning they have potential. My prediction is a win for LEEDS UNITED.

Manchester united vs Crystal palace: this would be united first match of this season, Crystal palace had won theirs against Southampton, not their best game but 3 point was won. My prediction is both teams will score.

Arsenal vs West Ham: Arsenal last match was exciting to watch, Arteta is raising a formidable team, the put away Fulham in good fashion. West Ham created chances in their last game against Newcastle but lost the game and I predict they would lose again against Arsenal.

Crystal Palace are a good defensive side and can surprise big opponents. Moreover its their first match in PL so I would have waited and see how they perform in their starting match.

Gareth Bale finally will return to Spurs, first as a one-year loan contract. With Bale, Spurs will have to speedy wingers, he and Son. With them, Mr. Special will build up a classic offense system with 3 players: Kane (striker), Bale and Son as 2 wingers. They remind me about Robben and Duff in Chelsea. Kane is much different than Drogba but he is a top striker in Europe and Premier League.

I think that England is the only place where Gareth Bale would be happy and play in accordance with his potential and ability. I didn't say Spurs specifically as I believe that he would do great at Man Utd too, which I thought years ago was a natural club for him to transfer to, which never happened unfortunately.

Actually, I expect Bale to play for Manchester United this season. But good for him, he doesn't need to play golf again  Grin

Mourinho is a tactical manager, his strong point is on counter-attacking. I hate it when Chelsea side (under Mourinho) played so well with this Mourinho signature tactic.
If Bale can fit and play at least 30 matches, I am sure that spurs will be a serious contender for the top 3/4.
I cant wait to watch his first match.
Bale does not seem fit with Solsa's tactic, from my perspective. I could be wrong but Solsa has not shown his main tactic for Manchester United after his 2 years in the club. Bale is not too old, 31 years old is still a good age with a strong player like Bale. His pace can help Mourinho's counter-attacking tactic. I did not feel  surprise when Mourinho accepted the Bale transfer question from Levy very fast. He does like Bale.

Son - Kane - Bale for Spurs
Werner - Ziyech - Abraham for Chelsea
Aubameyang - Lacazette - Willian for Arsenal

In fact I don't believe in Jose Mourinho even though Gareth Bale's return can allow the atmosphere in his squad, but Mourinho likes to be stubborn about the current strategy, Son and Bale may be counted on by me and Kane as attackers always remain when there is a cross. good in front of him, still I still lack confidence in Mourinho's current coaching.

I must say Mourinho is playing the transfer game smart. Signing Sergio Reguilon and at the same time bringing Bale on loan from Real Madrid is really smart. Spurs attacking also kinda seemed to have gone off for sometime now. I am glad they brought in Bale to do something about attacking.

Regarding availability I also think it would take sometime to roll them in match. Players have yet to undergo medical, sign their contracts and club has yet to make it official so I think it would take more time so yeah seems doubtful for match against Southampton.

The medical has already been done in Spain, but not having been able to train with the team would be an issue so they probably won't rush him in and then there's his fitness levels, but like I said above it's not exactly a vital game nor should it be tough for them. It will be interesting to see what the details of the deal are and how much he's leaving for. The Standard are quoting Spurs paying 15 million for a year:

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/gareth-bale-tottenham-transfer-news-latest-real-madrid-loan-fee-wages-medical-a4549781.html

Quote
In any case, it is understood Spurs will pay around £15m all in to have Bale for a year, including all wages and fees for the duration.

That's still a lot of money and works out at well over a million a month so maybe Real will technically be making some money from him this season.
