It seems that Everton can not maintain their lead in the Premier League, since they are 2-0 behind at the moment.
It would be a fairytale if Everton can copy the season from Leicester city from several years ago.

Well if they do not lose by more than three goals difference, then they will stay at the top after this match day, unless Aston Villa wins the catch-up game. Then Aston Villa would be first and Everton second. A table constellation that one could not have imagined a few weeks ago.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Arsenal - Leicester should have a lot of goals in it, especially if Vardy plays.
Not sure if Brendan is gonna risk Vardy, they have an europa league match next Thursday, after that it's Leeds away, and then a key game vs. Braga...Perhaps Jamie could see some minutes tonight, but i wouldn't be surprised if he's completely sidelined to have him at 100% for that crazy schedule.

My prediction in the formation of Leceister is that James Vardy can be played because he is the main player in the opponent's attack, I am sure this is not full of risks if Brendan makes a decision like even next week he will face a tougher team as well as Arsenal now. maybe he plays but for the full time I don't know maybe it could be half the game.

Regardless, BTTS sounds like a safe pick. But I actually went with Arsenal -1 AHC, that's my greedy pick of the weekend =P GL!

Half time - Southampton 2-0 Everton
Looks like the Blue half of Merseyside is reverting to type, it was always going to happen. The cream always rises to the top. The title race will be between Man City & Liverpool once the league settles by Xmas.
Everton will always forfeit the league top place but they won't go too far, if they do well they will reap top  four, but they should be goal-getting for not less than top six, the always present difference between big team and the rest is the consistency, leicester not in the UEFA champions league this season is an example. Also the join everton Is Aston villa, the table is taking form.

Finally, Everton lost a match. But still they are in the first position in the point table. Aston Villa may come in first position for a while. They are playing better than others. There is still a long way to go. Man-City has not shown anything good yet, hope they will go back on the track. I hope we will see Man City in the to 4 of the points table.

So it's not about aston villa and everton anymore?  Cheesy

Manchester City indeed have the best squad depth as they spend a lot of money every god damn year. They could go through a lot of hurdle such as injuries, suspension etc. 2 win 2 draw and 1 lost .. that was not an impressive start , this is the best time to bet on Manchester to win the League though.
While Liverpool are in mission to defend the title.. they looks just average so far , this season could be the hardest one to predict.

However i knew it , Southampton will shock ancelotti. They are well known as the dark horse of premier league, whoever on the run to the title.. they fuck them up and this time everton's turn.
Southampton to get cleansheet in the second half? Yes i wish so.
Southampton can beat any team at home, if they are well-tuned to the game. Everton is more of a home team and I was surprised by the good result at the start, but I think this is the result of the change of coach, and assumed that this charge would not last long.

In my opinion, Lampard should hand Mendy first team shirt going forward and maybe (just maybe) Kepa will get back on track now he has a competitive teammate.

That's exactly what they he needs @Kepa a little bit of of compitition. If he sees the compitition, he will definitely buckle up. That's what compitition does. The both teams did great in proving to themselves that non is really far better despite the lots of gossips on the team and couches performance so far this season. I think I've heard 'sack' far much on the both teams couches side than any other. Anyway,

The Southampton vs Everton game is on and to my surprise, Southampton is thrashing Everton 2-0 in the first half.
I'm believing this match to end in a draw but, I won't be surprised if Everton ends up loosing the day. They've been at the top for far too long already. Lol.

it was good that the loverpool managed to win the game even though they conceded a goal first.

Same happens for Everton as they play against Southampton, I believe this match is going to end in tie as well.

southampton 2 - 0  Everton

The incredible thing is that it is only in the 45 minutes and Southampton is knowing how to control the game well, and it is a case to say that if things continue as they are Southampton will end that game with a victory. It's a surprise for me and I'm glad I didn't place a bet for this game

+ wolves vs Newcastle: a tough sunday match, Newcastle are so inconsistent so a hard game to predict, I predict a draw.

Wolves will win this game

+Arsenal vs leicester: leicester are in bad form, I thought they were going on a good run after manchester city win. I predict a win for Arsenal.

this will be a great game and I predict that the arsenal will win

@nelson4lov before this game started Lampard said that Mendy is Chelsea’s number one goal keeper, and despite that howler he yet proved why Lampard has made him his number one goal keeper. Also I don’t know about you’ll but it felt to me that both the teams were not interested to win this game, and like all the other fans I too agree that this indeed was a boring game to watch.

Since joining Chelsea, Mendy has been real solid for Chelsea and always the guy to call on when it comes to big occasions and he hasn't disappointed thus far. If Kepa was at goal yesterday, I'm sure those strikes by Rashford would've found their way inside the net. Also, Mendy has done a great job at replacing Kepa. The shoes he had to feel was big considering Kepa "was" a top rated goalkeeper  Cheesy. In my opinion, Lampard should hand Mendy first team shirt going forward and maybe (just maybe) Kepa will get back on track now he has a competitive teammate.

I am taking both to score markets on Arsenal and Everton games. Both games should have a few goals in them and I consider this market safer option than picking outright winner. For instance Everton are without Richarlison and probably without Rodrigez, they should still be able to score at least one goal but I am not sure it will be enough since Ings will probably score one as well.

Arsenal - Leicester should have a lot of goals in it, especially if Vardy plays.

Everton's game with Southampton is already underway and they're losing 2-0 to Southampton. It's still the first half so there's a good chance that Everton will score a goal in the second half. Talking about the Arsenal vs Leicester game, I'm rooting for an Arsenal but it's kinda certain that both teams would score.

Interesting game today against Arsenal and Leicester.
Arsenal has a good start so far but I believe that it is time to lose some points as Leicester is going to play defensively and hit on the counter attacks.
Same happens for Everton as they play against Southampton, I believe this match is going to end in tie as well.
Leceister has lost 2x before and now facing Arsenal it is quite difficult to maintain his current position, Arsenal in my view are much better than last season and Arteta has changed their squad so it will be a strong deficit for Arsenal. Victory will happen.

Everton I have no doubt it will be a night of victory for him with Southampton going to be more difficult but still I believe in the win for Everton.

I think it would be an easy win for Everton. They are undefeated for quite a time now and their game against Liverpool too was impressive. They should easily outperform Southampton. On Arsenal vs Leicester city, it's going to be a tougher competition but I believe Arsenal would come victorious. Though Leicester is playing on their home ground, they have a poor record on home games as well.

I am not so sure about Wolves game. Wolves are not the team I usually choose for both to score but I feel this game will have goals from both sides. Newcastle is much stronger going forward this season. But I still decided to skip the game and placed my money on 2 more secure choices.

No way Kepa is getting his chance at first keeper soon. Mendy has already got three clean sheets in the games he played after his arrival and that was against Man Utd, Sevilla and C. Pallace. Keppa was on goal in one game between those three and got 3 goals from 6 shots against Southampton. He did not have a single sheet I believe this season, and last season was tragic as well.

I am not saying Kepa is bad keeper but he is totally out of form and whole team has lost confidence in him. He has to leave on some loan and gain his form back again. Some smaller club without media pressure would probably suit him perfectly.

I doubt that he'll be the first keeper for Chelsea ever again. The only reason why Chelsea gave him so many chances despite his mistakes and bad performances is that they paid that much money for him and that they had no real alternative. Now that they have Mendy, there is no reason to have to let Kepa play again (unless Mendy gets injured ofc or that it turns out he's causing goals in every match, too).

If Kepa leaves on loan during the next transfer window then it's only to spark some interest for him on the transfer market and for Chelsea to cut their loss in the end. It simply turned out he just can't handle the pressure of all the expectations everyone had in him after his  80 million transfer from Bilbao.

I agree Arsenal vs Leicester is a very interesting game to watch, which is just hours away from starting. Moreover, both of them now
have the same points, surely both teams will try to get more points. But based on my predictions Arsenal will be able to beat Leicester,
Arteta will definitely play more openly against Leicester. Arsenal have lost 6 points until now, so against Leicester they can't lose any
more points.
