Well, a perfect start for Liverpool so far. 2 tricky games, 6 points won and Arsenal home next.
They started well too, won both, but they are a team I always feel comfortable playing against.

I'm really curious about the Wolves - City tonight, I hope Wolves can take something out of the game. They are really progressing season after season.
The premiere for Manchester city to play in this season Wolves is also a challenge for Mancity tonight but I am sure it will all be passed easily, Pep Guardiola may have a new strategy this season and the game will be as impressive as Liverpool who easily bring victory.

I am sick of seeing Manchester United that the game is not so slick and like this it will be like last season at the start of the season it will continue to lose and at the end it will be good too, hmm but I am still not sure that at Manchester United it is still in the hands of Solskjaer.

I just felt uneasy yesterday. So I didn't do an accumulator.

But I did land 10$ on Leicester Burnley and a 5.5$ poker ticket for wcoop Smiley  thanks to PS

Here are the head to heads for today

Much as I'm liking backing Wolves, I think today isn't the day for that. (May look at goals scored or something here - over 2.5 goals BTTS = 13/10 or Over 3 goals is 2/1)

Shefield Vs Villa is also a close call. They drew a lot against each other Prem and in the championship.

At least Sheffield have a game under their belt but not a happy one. Lost 0:2 oh and to Wolves, see above:).   :/

Hmmmmmm

Pogba being known as a world class player is a myth. When was the last time he put in top class performances, consistently over a significant period of time? He was good for France when they won the World Cup but he’s been bang average for Man Utd, arguably since he joined them.

He hasn’t kicked on & repeated his Juve form as a young player. He’s more interested in posting on instagram to display his wealth & dyeing his hair stupid colours.
Pogba is a joke. He is talented but to say he is in top-class players. I am sorry he does not.

Pogba is over-priced and he is too selfish to play for his teammates. The time when Pogba played well is in Juventus but when he got very good supports from midfielder around him. Pirlo is one of them. Pogba is not a sort of key player that can carry a team.

United are a bit of a joke right now. Pogba is good but he's not reaching his potential and I'm not sure he will with United. I'm sure Pogba will leave as soon as he can. It will be interesting to see what happens with him and France in the next Euros and if they can win it again.

If Liverpool can win the first 5 matches in a row, the league is over I think.

Lol come on. Seasons aren't won within the first 5 games. What if they go on to lose the next 5? It's far too early to be saying who is going to win the league and Man City haven't even played their second game yet. Liverpool aren't playing City until November either and it's those sorts of games where either team needs to take points away from each other if they want to challenge for the title.

Aston Villa's big summer spend looks to have been effective - they are in 12th, with 2 games in hand on the teams in the relegation zone... a big improvement on last season.
If they can just find a way to keep getting games postponed instead of playing them, they're all set for a mid-table position.
They may have played 0, but they've also lost 0 and don't have a negative goal difference...

 Grin

I think that game could be a boring 0-0 draw and if so they will still have the same goal difference  Grin.

It broken apart after the red card. Kepa has been very bad as goalkeeper for sometime now. Lampard should have let Willy Caballero play this one. Right now Chelsea are in talks with Mendy and as soon as they come down to agreement I am sure there would be no place for Kepa anymore , at least not as 1st choice goalkeeper.

Chelsea's defensive line in this match is too high forcing Kepa to play as a Sweper goalkeeper, he act like neuer but in fact his quality far below.
if Lampard is going to use this tactics against a team with high possession football it is not suitable for placing kepa in squad.
I agree if Lampard doesn't give kepa as a main goalkeeper position if his performance always inconsistent.
Defense strategies like Chelsea are still relatively weak because yesterday against Liverpool they could still be penetrated, giving Liverpool 2 points of victory, so I think Chelsea should be able to improve its strategy, especially now that they can only compete with incomplete players because of a red card incident against liverpool.

Yeah no draw this week till now. I have placed bet on three game this week and fortunately won all of them.

Liverpool is looking good as like last season. They are favourite to win the league now. Their scoring ability is super. Let's see what Mancity does on their first match of the season against wolves.

I think it looks like Liverpool is still the same machine that it was last year. They score goals easily even against strong opponents like Chelsea.I decided to bet on many draws this week but not a single draw up until now which surely is strange for a Premier League week as there are often draws here.

I do wonder though what is realistic for Arsenal this season, I think to aim for a top 4 place is the best they can achieve, even then there are definitely better teams than them in the PL.
If you keep Auby, you have a great player but let's be honest they are not going to anywhere with this roster, they are at best fine, they could be top of the table but I do not see them top 4 or anything even remotely close. They will BARELY make it to europa cup if they are lucky but that is about it, they are not going to actually do any better.
I think it'll go down with whoever that gets fewer injuries in the end and unfortunately, Arsenal usually has the most injuries amongst the top 6 [for the past few seasons].
- If they get lucky on that front, they might get the last UCL spot.

1. Arsenal trio of Aubameyang - Lacazette - Willian will be a formidable attacking force this season once those trio clicked then arsenal attacking prowess wouldn't be easy for any EPL team to curtail.
I would also add the possible rotation with Pepe and even Martinelli [currently injured].

This defender Maguire cost them 83million lol. How they bought it? Because of English Media hype.
English players tend to cost more than what they offer in the pitch...
- That's been the case for a very long time (overpriced).

Wolves vs Man City - I'm predicting a hard-fought win for Wolves.

Chelsea goalkeeper had a bad day... The second goal was just a very ridiculous mistake but Mane was awesome, nice catching of the ball!
The red card in addition to a missed penalty too much for Chelsea to handle. BTW there was at least 2 other good opportunities for Liverpool to score...

Guardiola has a great chance of winning the Premier League title from Liverpool this season because throughout the season they will not compete in the Champion League.
That is not true mate. Manchester City are in this seasons (2020/21) champions league, mind you that they won their appeal against the two year ban handed down by UEFA, and the CAS cleared them of all wrongdoings (except a small fine). That being said, they are still the most favorites to take the title away from Liverpool and with the depth in the team, playing in the CL should not slow them down in the epl.
If Liverpool can win the first 5 matches in a row, the league is over I think.
No, it's too early to say that.

Mane smashed the Chelsea defense in the "50 and "54 minutes (simply amazing)..  My hope for Liverpool to become the leader of the EPL standings is still very high, they are still very enthusiastic about becoming champions.

I agree bad games for Chelsea, especially the many mistakes made by Chelsea players. Like the red card that Christensen got.
Then a mistake made by Kepa, created Liverpool's second goal. And lastly Jorginho failed to make a goal from a penalty. So the
conclusion is that Chelsea deserves to lose, and also this Liverpool victory is proof that Liverpool still have the opportunity to defend
the English Premier League title.

spurs performance was so entertaining today. their counter-attack was so fast. son is on fire today. effective gaming.

with bale in their squad, I want them to play against Liverpool already lol. I can imagine how Mourinho will park the bus, lock 2-3 players, and counter-attack as fast they can.  Grin

What a match that would be;
Liverpool Vs Tottenham
                  Or
Manchester Vs Tottenham

You've got my enthusiasm up for this fixtures already! Hope it comes through soon. It's gonna be a bot match, especially the second fixture.

And the champions Liverpool are not being complacent, in retaining there English premier league title.
Liverpool where better than Chelsea today the red card changed little, nice seeing thiago settling in I think he would win all mid field battle for Liverpool against any team and his passes tears defense.
Chelsea needs to give the new boys more time, maybe players that are used to the league should start like oliver girouid.

I knew Jose Mourinho won't settle for even a draw after losing the very first game of a new season. Now they are ready to climb up the table.

 Southampton 2-5 Tottenham

What a way to go Chelsea, losing at home, not even a draw. I just hope the score line doesn't go more than this. Losing a player on the pitch with a team like Liverpool could be so disastrous.

Chelsea 0-2 Liverpool

And counting...

This season I am still loyal to support Manchester City as the strongest candidate for the Premier League winner. 18 votes at once proves that I am not alone with City. Guardiola has a great chance of winning the Premier League title from Liverpool this season because throughout the season they will not compete in the Champion League. This is the best chance for him to become the best coach.

Even though they havent played a single match so far, but their inaugural match against Wolverhampton Wanderers will be proof that they are a candidate for the championship this season and I firmly believe City will win.

Meanwhile Liverpool excelled in their second match over Chelsea. Recently Chelsea failed to reduce the deficit through a penalty and the score was still 0-2 for Liverpool victory.
