Just yesterday, we talked about Manchester United always messing up when much is expected from them. Today's result once again proved that. No offense to Man Utd fans on the forum but they were quite wasteful upfront and at the back. De gea had to be called in one too many to make crucial saves. It's a shame they got beaten in their first game of the season at their home against a mid-tier team. If they keep up with performances like this, they'd be no where near the top of the table.
We surely did talk and for a fact, I don't see them within the top four position on the league table. Manchester United team has got a lot of work on the orientation of it's team. De gea has been the grace of the team as far as I can tell, he's errors are only seen to arise from a slack in the defence.
I agree with you. The market should be closed before the season starts. Changing players after the season has already started always causes unrest in the clubs concerned. Of course, there should be exceptions like in the current Corona phase where seasons start very differently in leagues.
It might seem unusual but, a necessity. A lot is been done to keep up the spirit of sportsmanship amongst fans. Imagine big leagues playing without selling viewing tickets. What a loss! But then, the fans have got to be entertained and the games is got to get going.
The season is already unusual with the way it starts, no breaks and all that so, unusual adjustment is a necessity.
