Merseyside Derby tomorrow, I’m excited to see this game, I wonder if Everton can really lay down a marker. If Everton can win then it might give them confidence to really think they can put in a proper title challenge.

There is some cracking games tomorrow. I will do the head to heads soon but there is one obvious main event here.

First against fourth (and champions) a big chance for Liverpool to clip the wings of Everton and catch them up immediately.

Some recent head to head info....

But far and away the most interesting stat.....

Look at this and tell me, what do you see?

?

That's right, 20 games in a row Everton never won a single game!

Can they defend their first place spot?

Now the international break is over, I can now return back to this thread. This weekend, we'll have some really interesting fixtures. Manchester city will host Arsenal. City hasn't been in their A-game recently so I'd like to see how they'll perform against Arsenal who have been impressive so far due to recent signings and additions. We won't be seeing those humiliating city 3-5 goal defeat. Also, There's an interesting meyserside derby coming up. Everton has had an interesting form so far and wouldn't want to get that tinted by Liverpool so I'm expecting a  action packed game.
Definitely the best two games out of the four that will be played tomorrow! but look at the odds, Everton x4 - Liverpool x1.83 and City x1.51 - Arsenal x5.8...
Although I expect Liverpool and City to win their games but the odds are quite unfair especially for Arsenal! City isn't playing in its best shape for quite long time and a draw if not a surprise by Arsenal could easily happens!

I am also very excited to look forward to 2 big matches between Everton vs Liverpool and Manchester City vs Arsenal. And like you,
I also hope Liverpool and Manchester City can win the game. But it will not be easy for Everton and Arsenal to be defeated, considering
that these two teams are currently in their best form. For Manchester City I am sure can beat Arsenal, because the last 5 games in the
Premier League, City have always won over Arsenal. Meanwhile, I predict Liverpool will end in a draw against Everton.

Yep, the odds on both Everton and Arsenal really do look tempting. This will be a weird season with some unexpected results - we have seen that already.
Going with upsets might be well worth the money, especially if good teams are placed as heavy outsiders as is the case with these 2 games.

When you are playing in a team like Manchester United you will always be paid good, no matter how great or how terrible you play, you will always be paid very well, when you get a good contract that means unless something major happens you are going to be paid that and can't be kicked without getting paid, either they will send you to another team and you can request the same amount or decline the transfer yourself, or you could just accept that and move on only that way.
I have known Manchester united for this as a club that pays each and everyone of their players a good amount of money even if you are not a consistent player,  despite the fact that the club is not really doing pretty well in the season.
I don't just know why everyone here keeps complaining about Pogba, he is a talented and coveted player but what kills him most time is pride, I agree with you blackpussy for clearing out why he isn't doing well in Manchester united because his playing with the wrong team.

If he's so lazy and unmotivated, why didn't they they  sell him already? Real already tried to sign him for quite some time. And I think in his mind Pogba was already in Madrid but the transfer wasn't happening in the end. That's probably the reason why he's not giving his best for Man United anymore. Not saying that I wanna justify his lack of motivation because someone with salary should be always focused on his current contract. But Man United should have seen that coming earlier and end it. He just couldn't live up to the expectations everyone had in him when he came from Juve.
On this, there are so many celebrated junk players in Manchester united. Pogba is very much one of them. He plays in Manchester united as though, he was in his retirement compared to his performance back at Juventus though, the wings weren't the aame. He's fun got a big hold on him with his consistent switch of hair styles, dance moves, always acting to be top dog and over zealous. I guess it all started from at the whopping sum involved in his transfer. It gave him a sense of importance and it all went wrong.

To add to the list of troubled players in Manchester united is also Lingaurd. I don't know what Manchester United see in this player but, he shouldn't be really getting a chance at the games, no offense.

They need to sell Pogba yeah & use the money to buy somebody younger who is hungry to succeed. Pogba is too lazy, they have Fernandes & Van De Beek so they have the start of a good midfield. Pogba is a passenger though, they can do better.

I also think that based on the value of Pogba and his performance to sell him is the better options. With such money the team can buy 1 or 2 young promising talents and it will be more beneficial for the team in the long run.Pogba beside being lazy is not a very disciplinated person or player so it can be a burden for the team in different times.

Pogba is a world class player but plays for the wrong taem that kills  players  like Sanchez, di maria, and Facao and many others so pogba needs a new challenge
You are right. Pogba is very hard working and potential player. I don't know why he is not playing well in Man Utd I agree with you that Pogba needs a new challenge. If he plays under a coach like Koeman or Guardiola, i hope Pogba can play better. Because they know how to use a player properly, how to use a player's talent on right way.

There is still a long way to go. Nome of us can predict what will happen in the future. Maybe they can correct their mistakes and try to perform better in the upcoming matches.
Yeah, I agree with you. Who knows if they can be back at the track and improve everything. Surely, there are many times and many opportunities if they want to correct their mistakes. They just played 3 matches, there are 35 matches remaining, I don't exclude them from winning candidates as still too early. Basically it is still in the early phase of this season, but if they don't improve their strategies in playing, they can lose since the early season.

Thanks, mate. It's foolish to make a decision about a team so soon. I will make my decision after watching at least 8 to 10 matches.

So, what United has to do is find a team who would be willing to purchase Pogba but also pay his huge salary as well, if the team is fine with paying for a transfer fee, but not feeling like they want to pay for such a huge salary,

There is always the option to loan him to another team . Same case with Bale but Pogba is still getting the spot for the starting squad unlike Bale that spent most of his time playing golf while getting that huge paycheck . If Bale could get an interest from another Club despite spending most of his time not playing, I dont see why Pogba wont

A total waste of money imo.

 Tongue I love this

I agree with you 100% and been saying that on number of occasions, Pogba is acting like he is there just to be there. Fucking around, no motivation, just doing his "job" to get the pay and fuck it all. I knew it was a mistake to buy him back, if he had something in his heart for Man Utd he would not leave when he was younger, but stayed and fought to be in the starting eleven.

He gets paid a hell of a lot, I just think he SHOULD be one of the main players in that team, a leader. He isn’t though & it doesn’t look like he’ll ever be. A total waste of money imo.

At this moment send Pogba away as quickly as possible because not only he plays bad but he changes the whole team to worse.

Even if Pochettino is hired now I don't think that will solve Man Utd problem as you rightly said IMO I think they should allow Ole Gunnar to continue with the rebuilding process of the team It will take some time before getting the deisred results, the team has some promising young stars that needed some blending with the more experienced players, although the team had a poor this season however MU management has to be patient with Ole Gunnar and let their fans know that the team needed more time so as to able to compete with the other top EPL teams.
The problems of Man Utd. are their boards and director. Change those guys first then coach later. Next let fire some crying and shouting babies like Pogba.

They used to hire a good coach, Mourinho and he did great job at his first season. The mentality of Pogba and inconsistency of board to support Mourinho caused the leave of the Special One. I can sympathize with Man Utd.'s board if they chose some good coaches as replacement for Mourinho. In fact they chose Solsa that is a terrible choice.

The joke kept going when the board have given many support for Solsa (from transfer budget to press conference and drama). Solsa after his 3 season has proven to all that he is not qualified enough to be in Old Trafford.
I keep saying it, for Manchester United to succeed, they need to sell Pogba to another club cos there's no way you'll bench Pogba for another player. There are good players out there, that can play more than him.
Pogba is a big time flop. Look at what he played during friendly match between his country (France) and Portugal. He can't even play correct pass. Manchester United is just hyping him and it's making him to feel on top

Yes, it can happen, the coach needs time, but we can see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer coach United for over a year. There is a possibility that there will be dismissal from the result of the next match. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must have the courage to eliminate players who are not playing well. They have good replacements, for example in the position of Defender Axel Tuanzebe and Teden Mengi to replace Luke Shaw or Maguire, in the midfield position there is Donny van de Beek, I think his movement is faster than Pogba, there is also Juan Mata who can replace Bruno Fernandes.
