Assuming an easy win for this liverpool against this Manchester, how big do you think the gap will be?

I think about a 3-0 or 3-1
Liverpool will likely win the match based on the realities on ground but the score is definitely difficult to guess. A more reasonable score will be 2-0 but Liverpool have been conceding too many goals lately and that is a factor to put into consideration as I know that Manchester United might want to fight for at least a draw in the match. Such fight can actually give them a goal  in the match which makes the expected score be in the form of both teams to score and Liverpool to win the match. Therefore, 2-1 is a good option to consider going by the analysis.
This could be a surprising match to everyone. Manchester United might decide to use the match to return to form. Liverpool in the recent time have won Manchester United shamefully, this could be a revenge.

Ruben Amorim can decide to throw a surprise by bringing Marcus Rashford against Liverpool. This will not only destablize the opposition, it will also encourage Rashford to do his best to regain his place in the squad. So, everyone so confident that Manchester United will lose should think again.

Arsenal often struggled against Brentford, and they also always won win narrow score. I take their recent h2h as a proof. The current score is 1-1, which is telling us Arsenal is gonna win the game with narrow score.

Gabriel Jesus helped them to equalize the score, and it's surprised me how he's doing very well this time. He regains his form again.

I think the result will be 2-1 / 3-1 Arsenal win. It's ez money for sure.
Notwithstanding the obviously stated fact,  Arsenal overturned the records today by doing a come back from a goal down to winning by three goals, Brentford had the home advantage to they actually couldn't utilise it well enough,  they made a good attempt in the fir half and took the lead in the first 20minute of the game but they later couldn't hold on to the scores till the end of the game. The second half was mostly dominated by the gunners and their brilliance couldn't be held back so they got a deserving victory this time breaking the struggling records.

Crystal Palace 2 - 2 Manchester City (In this game Manchester City conceded 2 goals against a weak opponent)

Manchester City 1 - 2 Manchester (In this game Manchester City conceded 2 goals against a weak opponent)

Aston Villa 2 - 1 Manchester City (In this game Manchester City conceded 2 goals against a weak opponent)

Manchester City 1 - 1 Everton (In this game Manchester City conceded 1 goal against a weak opponent)

Manchester City 2 - 0 Leicester

So in this last game Manchester City won, they didn't concede a single goal, this is a good sign that the team may be starting to recover

They won their last game, but I'm not sure of the whole recovery thing. Manchester city has always being a club that concedes goals even when they are in a very good form, and winning trophies too. They will be in action again, probably this Saturday or Sunday, and it will be against West Ham, which is also another weak side. I also expect them to win this game, but what I won't be able to say the same for other average clubs.

Neville said on his podcast for Sky Sports: Garnacho and Rashford would have been better off playing against Liverpool.
I think he is right and because United has a tough time every time they go to liverpool stadium and considering that Liverpool is at the top of the table and is having a good time, they need to have the best on the pitch, this game is for everyone to keep. Reputation and position are important.
United are not in a good position so it is better to use the best to keep their reputation and maybe even in this game
Liverpool players are also somewhat wary of these two people

I'm not sure of what Amorim is trying to prove now, even though Managers needs to raise their standards sometimes. Their losses since the days of Ten hag, has become a normal thing even until this very moment. Definitely, Amorim needs top qualities on the pitch against a very good side like Liverpool, but to him, some players might not have that quality he's looking for, besides, the Rashford case was as a result of a possible exit rumor in the coming transfer window.

There are so many things he hasn't gotten right, but I believe he will do that with time. From what I have even noticed lately, it seems both hojlund and Zirkzee are not meeting up to his expectations, and they've been some rumors that Gyokeres might join him, even though United don't plan on spending except they sell.

Not only Gabriel Jesus but every other player is expected to perform well and Arsenal is putting much pressure on them so that they will be able The truth is that no matter how hard they try Liverpool is already leading with good point numbers, so it will have to take them to be more serious and the same time, Liverpool have to lose some games, That is like the only opportunity they have to be able to lead that table, and Arsenal players are not that bad but they need a lot of commitment to their games and even there key strikers are not getting any support from there. for Arteta to succeed, he has a lot of work to do, and if he wants to win, he should be ready to take responsibility and do the right thing, because with great power comes great responsibility, so if he wants to win other clubs, he has to be more committed than before to maintain form. I don't even think anyone should be comparing Liverpool and Chelsea.
Arsenal was able to find it's rhythm without Bukayo Saka. I thought they would struggle without his attacking runs that always threaten defenders. But I still think that they need a striker to stand on his place until he recovers because a strong defense might give them a tough time. However, Arsenal did a good job after they came from a goal down after Bryan Mbeum gave Brentford an early lead. The Gunners have closed the gap between Liverpool to six points which is good for the league since it will become more competitive.

Yes and I support his opinion. While Garnacho and Rashford may have faced some disciplinary issues at Manchester United there is no doubt that they both remain top talents and valuable assets to the team. Both players possess exceptional pase and skill which could trouble Liverpool's defense. It will be wise for Ruben Amorim to field his strongest eleven which should involve both Garnacho and Marcus Rashford as it may be the key to securing a positive result in such a high stake match.

Amorim is the head coach and he will do what is right, he kept Rashford and Ganacho on the batch because he didn't believe in them anymore thinking that they won't perform well, and he is the head coach and he will do anything possible to make the team stronger in the league and win trophies. Amorim is doing something new, I think he will try to buy new players this January after the windows are open, because Manchester United are not in their best form this season thinking that Erik Ten Hag that is making the team performance poor, but I reason is from the players and they need to make new negotiations and get new players in the team.

Manchester United must try their hardest and start winning games before it is too late to finish in the top four in the league, and have the opportunity to progress to the UCL the following season. This will not be easy, but if they can find form and start winning games, they will be able to accomplish so. Chelsea, as I said, has the opportunity to overtake Liverpool if they make a mistake, but Chelsea is losing form and drawing losing games in the competition, thus one would expect Ipswich to defeat Chelsea by a decisive 2-0 margin. Chelsea did not do well in the game.

While we are in 2025 now and the 2024 is over. We can check some stats in the Premier League to know about the performance of some teams in this league and compare the teams during this year. Arsenal was the best team in 2024 because winning 72.2 percent of the games they had so far which is interesting because they couldn't win the Premier League and Manchester City usually had a better place than Arsenal in the past, Arsenal just lost 3 games during the 2024.
Liverpool is in second place because of winning 70.3 percent of the games in 2024 and they are in first place on the Premier League table because of the perfect performance they had since Slot joined the team.
In the third place, we have Manchester City and maybe their recent bad performance they had during this season was the reason for them to be in the third place in 2024.

2024 was a great year for Arsenal. I think they have the best performance above other years, even though I am not statistically sure, but being ranked above Manchester City and Liverpool is a great achievement, and it shows some signs of progress in the Arsenal team as a whole.

Liverpool go above Manchester City this season because of their consistency in the EPL this season. They are having a wunderful performance so far in the Premier League because they have won more matches than any other Premier League team this season.

However, I can't find Manchester United in this list; this has shown how badly Manchester United has performed last year. I hope the team gets some improvement next season because they have Amorim, who will soon get it right, according to Manchester United fans.

Arsenal were excellent today, they managed to put Brentford in chains which is not easy especially when Brentford went up by a goal in the first half. Arsenal fought hard enough and Gabriel Jesus great positioning drew them level.
I would have said Arsenal deserves this league title but with the way Liverpool are playing it's now up to who wants it more. I believe of Arsenal manages to remain consistent then they have a good chance.
I never expected a win from Arsenal in the match, they surprised me. I was thinking the match would end as a draw, but Arsenal was able to secure 1 goal in the first half of the match, and they scored two goals in the second half of the match. Since Saka is injured, I was expecting his absence to affect Arsenal's performance today, because Saka's absence affected Arsenal when they played against Ipswich, and we all know that Brentford is a dangerous team, but Arsenal was able to get three points in the match.

~~
Yep that's absolutely right. It was quite surprising because Arsenal was not too good in the first half Brentford had spotted first with an earlier goal despite Arsenal being a bit indolent in the first half. They created few chances but failed to get a chance for a goal until Jesus made it 1-1. In the second half, they changed their tactics and started a quick build-up attack, which made it work, and ultimately they won the match with pretty good results. To be honest if we look at the h2h record of Arsenal against Brentford. So literally they are always tussling for victory between each other and never let anyone to win easily.

Buy anyway Arsenal plays a good match they deserve to win it because this season they were really doing well in the league competition. They won 3 points with great success and increased their points from Nottingham Forest. Moving on next Arsenal's next match against Brighton is a little bit tougher, but hopefully Arsenal will be able to win easily.

Yeah, this was one of the reasons I felt that Arsenal would struggle to get the three points but then again, they boast of a very solid away form and the fact that Saka is out injured didn't stop them from getting the job done because we know how the Gunners tend to find it hard to deliver if any of their key players are out. Maybe Arsenal are starting to build without the services of some of their players or Brentford aren't a team to be afraid of anymore, either way it was good that they were able to secure all the points today.

I thought I was the only one that thought they would have a hard time in today's game, but unfortunately they won the game and secured their 3 points. But for the first half that ended in a draw, I thought Brentford would maintain the game till the end so that the game would end as a draw game, but when they came back for the second half, 5 minutes after the start of the second half, they scored, and after 3 minutes they scored again. I was very surprised. Although Arsenal is in good form this season, so it shouldn’t be so hard for them to achieve the 3 points; moreover, there is a competition of position between Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, and Chelsea, so Arsenal will try their possible best to see that they are able to make it from them so that they can move closer to Liverpool or even make it to the top of the table.

I think this is what the Gunners have been expecting G. Jesus to be doing, getting goals, creating chances and the Gunners would have been better and even get something last campaign. Jesus positioning in the last 3 games has been wonderfuland Arteta on the other hand should not be one of those coaches that knows how to kill the career of young players. I also have that in mind but how possible can the Gunners overshadow the Reds at this very moment? How? Is only going to take one mistake from Liverpool. Arsenal can still be doing their thing while they wait for whoever is topping (Liverpool or Chelsea).

It seems that Chelsea are starting to lose their momentum on keeping up with the chase against Liverpool on the table after they suffered two consecutive losses against Fulham and Ipswich Town. I guess the heavy task of keeping up the pressure with the chase on Liverpool will fall to the hands of Arsenal now when they play against Brentford in their next upcoming match and hopefully they will be able to walk away with 3 full points at the end of the match.

I was very surprised by Chelsea's defeat, I bet on them because I thought that since they were performing well and their opponent was having poor results to the point that they were fighting to get out of the relegation zone, that's why when I saw that I lost my bet, I said to myself: what the hell happened to Chelsea? If they had lost in a game against a strong team, I could even understand, but losing against a team that is fighting to get out of the relegation zone is a very bad thing.
I am sure most of gamblers has lost their bets through this match because Ipswich is only promotion team who still fighting to avoid relegation zone so at this time Chelsea favourites will get easy win from this match especially Ipswich still lack of winning because from 18 matches Ipswich only gets 2 wins in Premier League and everyone were underestimate Ipswich which probably can get easy money if betting for Chelsea but in fact Chelsea lost and in this match i can see Chelsea is very weak to anticipate the counter attack strategy from Ipswich and it proved all the goals were happened is from this scheme
Of course many people bet on Chelsea to lose because they think Chelsea can beat Ipswich who are at the bottom of the table and fighting to avoid the relegation zone, and I also bet on Chelsea with confidence because their last few games with other teams and also the meetings between the two Chelsea teams are much better. However, that's football, it's not easy to predict and anything can happen.

And most of the teams fighting from the relegation zone will play more defensively and only rely on deadly counter attacks and most of them succeed and also don't, and playing defensively is always a strategy for teams who have the potential to rely on deadly counter attacks so as not to drop further in the rankings like Ipswich
against Chelsea and they succeeded.

Chelsea and Arsenal they both hope to see Liverpool lose some points and they hope to see this team have a bad performance in the next games maybe this can help these two teams to decrease the gap between themselves and the top of the table. But still, since Liverpool started working with Slot they didn't make many mistakes and they usually had good results in the games we saw from this team while we were expecting to see Liverpool have a bad performance because of losing Klopp.
The most interesting thing in the Premier League is about Chelsea because they can now have the chance to even be in the first position of the league while they were even about to get relegated in the past.

Arsenal have been impressive away from home this season with Brentford also having a great season at home with their place been more like a fortress at the moment, they scored early in the first after having little of the ball and I was like maybe it was one of these days where Arsenal will be very poor and lose the game but they immediately respond with a goal by Jesus who in recen games has been excellent for the gunners.

My standout player was Ethan Nwaneri  who was deployed to  fill the position of saka, he did exceptionally good to me and should be used more often than Arteta uses him, I could remember when Odegaard was out many suggestion were made to actually start this lad and he couldn’t get in but he definitely showed today why many people value him high I think for now he should fill the saka void

Arsenal is beginning to win all their matches, but from the way things are, it’s just going to be difficult for Arsenal to take over the first position from Liverpool. Liverpool is already ahead of Arsenal with 6 points, and they are having an outstanding match to be played.

From the way Liverpool is playing, they are not ready to lose any points for now. If Arsenal keeps on winning their matches, I am sure Liverpool will also be winning, they are not going to drop points, so it’s just going to be difficult for Arsenal to cover the gap.
Arsenal did a pretty good job because they were able to achieve maximum results in their 3 matches. They are catching up with Liverpool and currently Arsenal is 6 points behind Liverpool. I admit Arsenal's performance is getting better, they continue to be enthusiastic about finding victory in order to compete strongly with Liverpool.

Today's match was quite exciting because Arsenal fell behind first but they were able to turn things around and steal 3 points at Brentford's home. Gabriel Jesus seems to have found his best form, he must be able to maintain it in the upcoming match because we know Arsenal has lost Saka due to an injury. Well, for Liverpool, they must be able to see the opportunities that exist and not give Arsenal a chance to approach them, Liverpool will face Manchester United this week, a very important match to win.

Manchester City's performance has been awful in the Premier League this season and seeing them win at home over Leicester City and didn't concede any goal will surely be a sign of relief to the fans and manager. I believe Manchester City will be able to build on this momentum to be able to return back to winning ways in the new year. Manchester City still remains a top team and they can turn their bad season around and return back to winning ways.
I have been a long time football fan and I like to give chances to the favorites, but this time round Manchester City are not going to be a top team. They make a couple of good results only to fumble up in the next couple of games. Sincerely, I don't know what happened to the once excellent team, but this kind of bad form periods have happened to other teams before.

Guardiola may have to just throw in the towel at one point if things are to get better.

My concerns fortunately did not happen, Arsenal really performed amazingly in this match Arteta prepared his team well even without Saka, and even though they were 1-0 down, arsenal turned things around, 2 quick goals early in the second half brought them victory and brought them to the top two positions in the standings, but Brentford can not be underestimated in the second half there was an effort from them at least they managed to put pressure on Arsenal defense even though there were no results, to be honest if only Brentford defense had not lost focus with 2 quick goals from arsenal maybe the final result would have been different.

Anyway congratulations to The Gunners with this full point achievement at least there is hope for them to catch up with Liverpool again at the top of the standings.
My real concern is when they don't have Saka on the winger which can make things unpredictable but in the end Arsenal are still very solid and their midfield is really outstanding and contributed a lot to today's win in the end.

In addition, they are also quite good at securing chaos because seeing the 3 goals that occurred all came from chaos in the penalty box which was difficult for Brentford to avoid in the end which made them have to be willing to lose points even though 1 early goal in the first 15 minutes was quite a surprise for me.

This is ultimately a very good thing for Arsenal even though the points gap is still quite far with Liverpool but at least they are still keeping hope that their points will not widen further because after all now apart from waiting for Liverpool to have problems then they also as much as possible must continue to maintain consistency so that their position is still comfortable in the competition even though now it is still quite far away.

I don't think I can say the game against Brentford will be an easy win because Arsenal have got the penchant for misbehaving and throwing away opportunities when it is very necessary now that their greatest fear which is Man City is not competing for the title but the top 4. Saka is not coming back from injury today or the next day and I feel the force or should I say the way Arsenal approach games when Saka was around is different because he's not available at the moment. This is another reason I feel Arsenal might throw this chance away and at the same time I want Arsenal to win something big this season, I just feel for how slow they played in their last game and I hope they've used last season to learn a lesson because it was this same time they started losing important game, are they going to continue to fall out of the title race when it matters?

Arsenal often struggled against Brentford, and they also always won win narrow score. I take their recent h2h as a proof. The current score is 1-1, which is telling us Arsenal is gonna win the game with narrow score.

Brentford performance was pretty good in the first half, and they played with confidence trying to exploit all the opportunities that they had. Brentford was able to open the scoreline before Gabriel Jesus canceled their goal with a brilliant header. Brentford almost scored their second goal, but Raya was very lucky that he was able to hit the ball out of the post before it crossed the goal line. The second half will determine the winner.
TBH, Brentford has always been a team that is well ready to compete with Arsenal any day. After scoring in the first half, they were full with excitement hoping they can win the game. But in the end they got disappointed after Arsenal equalized still in the first half.

Truth be told. When i saw the Arsenal lineup already i made my conclusion that they might lose the game. I was so certain because Saka was unavailable in the game. Not for me to see Nwaneri doing wonderfully well in Saka's position. Arsenal scored 3 goals all thanks to the Arteta who have improve the team so well.

I can't say that they played on equal terms, but the game as a whole was very calm despite the fact that only 4 goals were scored. Even if you look at the statistics, you can draw exactly the same conclusion, except that Arsenal were a bit more persistent in the context of shots on goal. A great start to the year in any case for Arsenal!

Therefore winning over Leicester City is not something that can be taken seriously, it means nothing because Man City has not been able to provide a guarantee after winning 3 points. Pep Guardiola will not be satisfied quickly, especially with the club situation in 6th position in the standings there is still a lot that they have to fix.

This was Manchester City's performance in the last 4 Premier League games:

Arsenal must win this match if they want to move up to second place, but the absence of Saka makes me a little worried because in the previous match when they were held to a draw by Ipswich, his absence on the field made Arsenal attack a little less sharp besides Brentford is different from Ipswich, they are better and stronger + have the advantage of playing at home.
Maybe Brentford's only weakness that Arsenal can exploit in this match is their defense which is quite weak.
Let's see because the match has started.
The absence of Arsenal's mainstay players certainly has a slight negative impact on the team's declining performance. But on the one hand, sometimes the experience of previous meetings can provide confidence to get positive results.
Now we see Arsenal leading by 3 goals and Brentford managed to score 1 goal.
I think this match is a little worrying because Brentford has consistent attackers. So Brentford will definitely continue to put up resistance.

The performances of G.Jesus, Merino, and Martinelli were very good and I hope G.Jesus is able to score again.

I actually do not know what to say about Arsenal this season. It was the last season and season before last that I had high expectation of Arsenal, but they successfully disappointed myself and many football fans. This season it seems that Liverpool and Arne slots are another level of play, which I know too much Arteta and his boys cannot contest. If Arsenal didn't drop from the beginning of the season and followed Liverpool closely, we would have been hopeful. But with Arsenal continues disappointment towards the end of season and drop in points, there seems to be no clear competition for Liverpool this season.

Meanwhile, who has noticed that Nottingham Forest is currently the most inform team in EPL. Just check the LiveScore and discovered that there past 5 matches were green.
Arsenal have been consistent every season but when the season is about to end, they have not been able to maintain their chance of winning the trophy. In the 2023/2024 season, Arsenal almost won the Premier League, but they seemed to be shocked towards the end of the season so they failed and only finished second behind Manchester City.
I don't mean to exaggerate Liverpool, if Liverpool were in Arsenal's situation, the hope would be greater to come true.

As for Nottingham Forest, this season they are quite lucky although what I mean is luck lies in their coach, Nuno.
Nuno failed with Spurs and couldn't do much in the Saudi Pro League.
And for me, Nottingham Forest's achievements if you think about it have happened to other teams that are not favored. Last season Aston Villa were like them.
