Chelsea have everything but not the defense, that department haven't been brilliant and I think they're the 3rd worse in the EPL this season. Enzo haven't tried to amend that spot to be a little bit strong as the attack, I won't say much about the midfield because they're not consistent, like today you see them doing well and the next they're doing the opposite of what they did in the previous game.
I also can't believe Chelsea. In the last transfer market, they spent around €40.60m to bring in several defenders, both left back and center back. However, they were only used as reserves.

Source: Chelsea FC arrival

I wonder why they didn't use the funds to buy defenders who are indeed good and strong even though not for several players, but rather chose smaller players in greater numbers. Moreover, they also spent a lot of money to add Goalkeepers, I don't know what's wrong with Chelsea's agents and management.

To me I think if Chelsea have the kind of defense Arsenal have they're good to go because the attacking line I just as perfect as any coach would want and adding the Arsenal defense it makes the team to be solid and the midfielders can as well improve and do much better week in week out. I'm just saying but what do we have to say about that? Because if you want to say the clubs that have the best defense in the EPL, in the top 5 Arsenal is either 1st or 2nd, what do you make of that?
when we talk about football, there three things a team or club must possess to be a strong and outstanding team. And they are first the defence. If the defence is weak then there would be a enough goals for them that team but to some extent Chelsea defence is not too bad and I will say the problem is coming from the instructor. Then the goalkeeper, if the goal keeper is not skillful enough at the post, then whenever a ball penetrate the defence then it will be a goal. Chelsea keeper is not bad as well. And finally the striker when the above two are good then the striker must be good to strike at all time. And Chelsea needs a good striker. Chelsea faced defeat because they lack good striker, and management.
Chelsea squad is not too bad but they only need so.e amendment in the team and everything will be alright. Chelsea performance in this season is better than last seasons.

It would have been wonderful if Manchester united can continue with the kind of performance that tgey displayed yesterday at all time whether playing against big clubs or small clubs. Southampton just came back from relegation and I don't expect anything much from them.

Manchester united winning them waa a norm and a bonus point to united. Arsenal needs to step up their midfield and improve their team performance for their next match because it should be an important win for them to stay close to their rivals.

I expected less from Manchester United against Southampton. Had it been they never won that match, I have a strong believe Erik is going to leave Manchester City because so far, Southampton hasn't win a single game since the beginning of this season neither has they draw any match, it's loss on loss even with Nottingham Forest and you expected less from Manchester united, it will be be a thing of shame not to win this match even though it's not a home match.

Also winning this match shouldn't be a signal for Manchester United comeback, there should be some improvement after two or more matches before one can think they are capable of winning future matches so you don't end up and bet on games and lose your money later.
I agree with you that no one should have any confidence in them to the extent of betting on them as winners in any of their matches because they might make you run at loss due to their unpredictable performance. Ten Hag always find his way out from getting fired and I think that's what he knowa how to do best.

Whenever there is a sack pressure on him, he knows how escape it by winning the next match. This was how he also did last season when he won Manchester city in the FA Cup finals which made United not to sack him after the season but gave him another chance. He should do better than this and improve the team performance if he knows how.

I don't think the win was entirely down to luck. Even though Arsenal faced considerable pressure from Tottenham but they indeed have a solid defense. Arteta knows they cannot afford to play an open and offensive game because, without Odegaard and Declan Rice, their rhythm would not have developed optimally. Therefore, they tend to play defensive football and wait for a good opportunity to counter-attack. That patience paid off, when Tottenham was so frustrated in chasing goals, it was Arsenal who broke the deadlock.
I agree with this that Arsenal's victory against Tottenham was not entirely due to luck. Because Arteta has planned a good strategy for this match. Arteta always knows the limits of the squad strength that can be played for each match that will be played. So he always has different plans which are always adapted to different situations and conditions. The injuries to Odegaard and D. Rice, who had to miss the match due to previously receiving a red card, have made Arteta decide to use a slightly different strategy. But the results turned out to be quite effective and frustrated Tottenham because they had difficulty penetrating Arsenal's defense. And Arsenal patiently waited for opportunities to come and took advantage of them when they came. And yes, that patience has indeed produced good results. Arteta becomes more mature with each season as a professional coach.

Nkuku came to their rescue after they almost lost the game and most likely ended in a draw. The defense of Chelsea has always not been tough enough or have the resistive strength enough to be able to stand against some tough teams but for the game yesterday they made good attempts but nkuku's gaol scoring abilities is getting even better, I could see some improvement especially with his creativity which was shown in that goal he did scored yesterday, generally the Chelsea squad is gradually getting better then they had last season.
Yeah Chelsea still have problems in their defensive line and it’s mostly because of Reece James’s injury, i think with him around he will be able to balance the defense better and also Tosin came in and gave balance to the defense so i think his pairing with Levi Colwill could work out better if they play couple of games together.

Chelsea struggled in the game because they were not clinical and Bournemouth almost took advantage of that but they failed to score a goal despite having lots of chances to score. Chelsea were lucky to win and everything changed when they made couple of changes and the substitute players brought strength to the squad. Nkunku, Sancho, Felix and Tosin deserves a spot in the starting lineup because players like Jackson, Madueke and Fofana are not consistent enough with their performance. I applaud Sancho for turning things around and making good contribution to the team and Nkunku deserves a start ahead of Jackson because he has proven himself countless times that he is a better goal scorer than Jackson.

The yesterday match between Arsenal and Tottenham was very tough, because even arsenal didn’t expect that kind of performance from Tottenham with the kind of control they did yesterday against Arsenal; To be honest Arsenal where luck yesterday if not the match was not easy for both teams, due the how referee share a cards in that match.

Yeah although that some Arsenal players are gotten injured but with Arsenal performance can still remain standard with the remaining squad they’ve correctly now, as it stands now arsenal are now in second position after won yesterday match: and their next match is against Manchester City which I have hope for them that they find the match very easy to win; so that they can able to claim first position in the table.

Arsenal's performance in this match deserves appreciation because in this match Spurs appeared with full strength but could not beat Arsenal who were experiencing serious injuries. Although in this match Tottenham managed to dominate the game but could not score a goal, Tottenham does not have a striker like Kanne, Tottenham usually has a deadly striker who can score 25 goals per season. On the other hand, what made Tottenham unable to score a goal was because Arsenal had a pretty great goalkeeper in this match. Glad to see Raya able to keep a clean sheet on his birthday, a great victory for Arsenal.
And from that match I also saw that the Arsenal squad was still really solid even though Arsenal could not control the ball as much as Tottenham did. However, Arsenal players were still confident enough to be able to win the match by taking advantage of the opportunities available because it would be useless if a team was able to control the ball more but could not score a single goal which ultimately made them lose to the visiting team. Currently there are six Arsenal players who are still injured, but I am still quite sure that Arsenal can still perform well with a squad that is still fit at this time.

Arsenal every season tries to match Manchester City, and Arteta is indeed ambitious to beat Pep Guardiola before he leaves Manchester City. So when watching the London derby yesterday the motivation to not give Tottenham a chance was very big. When that one goal was scored, all Arsenal players felt that only that point had to be maintained until the end. And for Tottenham, even though they lost they have shown extraordinary competition, never stopping trying their best. Their failure to beat Arsenal does not mean that their players are bad in terms of quality. I admit, even though the result was a draw, it would be very worthy for both teams.
Arsenal are becoming stronger and a win against Tottenham shows their improvement of winning minimally against strong opponents in Premier League. If they can maintain it, they will drop less points than two previous seasons and this means they will race more closely with Manchester City. From the match between Arsenal and Tottenham, we can see that Arsenal still lack of a good striker like Haaland in Manchester City. They are trying to cover this weakness with combined efforts from other players but in long run, this weakness can damage their chance in a race with Manchester City.

Don't have a world class striker to convert good opportunities or half of opportunity to goals, is not good for any league title race. Manchester City can take advantage of this weakness from Arsenal and beat this competitor again.
Arsenal in the last two seasons has been a team that has always under Manchester City in end seasons and it proves that if their current ability has improved dramatically, arsenal's hopes in ending the season with the championship trophy are of course wide open at this time, especially the victory over Tottenham is proof of their mentality,  because Arsenal which the problem of injury storm this season but they are still able to face a strong team like Tottenham who has indeed been Arsenal's eternal rival so far,  Arsenal's main problem is of course a sharp striker but for some reason they didn't get him in the transfer window last summer and prefer to bring in midfielders and defenders, but even so I think Arsenal will not lose their sharpness given the impressive performances of Trossard and Saka in wing line so far, In addition, Kai Havertz, who is also starting to find his performance and sharpness in scoring goals, can certainly cover the shortcomings of Arsenal current central striker, but still it should be in the winter transfer market later, Arsenal must be able to bring in at least one sharp striker to add sharpness to their front line.

And Arsenal's real test is in week 5 they will visit Man City's headquarters, I am curious about the tactics that Arteta will use in the match considering the injuries suffered by the main players.
I think some of the first team players will be available then notably Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori and Saka would be available and by then they would have find a way of balancing themselves with all these injuries woes but this would still be very much difficult game for the gunners except maybe Man City somehow stumble or also suffer some injury, gunner will be in a tough spot especially with Haaland being in an excellent form now.

I wonder who  would consider this a comeback of Manchester United, they have been far too inconsistent that I will just change my thought after just one game, that's a joke, they need to have at least five good game in a role in the EPL then I will believe there's a positive improvement in the team, which I doubt they can do this season though.

It was definitely a hard game for arsenal, they are not doing all that crazy all game long and they tried their best and won just with one goal so it wasn't really an easy game at all. They managed to get the three points that they needed at least and that's all that matters, at the end of the season nobody remembers how difficult the game was, they just remember the points and they got the win that they needed.

I still think that this year could be Arsenals year, they have done so well for so many seasons and they had trouble with City so far but I think City could finally have a season where they end up losing some points where they do not expect to lose, that could be very important situation. Arsenal has what it takes to win the title and they will definitely end up trying to do as well as possible, they should be considering that as something that will take a while and because of that I think it will be a great season for them.

I can't say I was wrong about Tottenham despite the end result. I'm glad Arsenal won, but it was a lucky win, not a logical outcome. To my surprise, the City is still listed very weakly:

Manchester City - 1.91

Arsenal - 3.00

Liverpool - 9.00

Bookmakers are probably taking into account that at the end of the season City could receive a serious penalty in the form of points being deducted.

How can you even call that header from Gabriel a lucky one man?! How?who says such a thing? I can agree Tottenham Hotspur played more than them no arguments, but won't agree the goal was luckily ship into the goal post. I've known them to be this way since the time of Wenger. Tottenham had chances to score but they screwed things up.

Manchester City could win it again (5x in a row )

Arsenal ( I would love to see them winning it this season honestly, they've come so close to clinching it, could this be the lucky one for them? )

Liverpool ( They're not ready, they also do not have the squad to thrive until the end of the season.

No beautiful/masterfully brilliant strike beats statistics.
Shots -14:8
Shots on target - 5:4
Corners - 7:6
Ball possession - 64%:36%.
It is clear that due to fluctuations the results are different with the same statistics, but these statistics look more like a Tottenham win/draw than a deserved Arsenal win.

According to the news coming in, a points deduction is the least that is being discussed for City if they are found guilty. If there is any point in making outright bets, it seems to be on Arsenal/Liverpool only.

Sothampton is not a strong team. Currently, Southampton is in the relegation zone. I feel confident Man United will win and it happened. This condition does not describe Man United has improved. But the 3 points obtained made Man United move up the rankings.
I think Onana was the hero in this match. Onana was able to thwart Cameron Archer's penalty. It makes the mentality of the United players better. Furthermore, there is a gap of about 10 days, they will compete in the Europa League. They will fight Twente.
It would have been wonderful if Manchester united can continue with the kind of performance that tgey displayed yesterday at all time whether playing against big clubs or small clubs. Southampton just came back from relegation and I don't expect anything much from them.

Although Ten Hag is still missing Tyrell Malacia, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Daniel Gore and Mason Mount, I think Manchester United has the potential to maintain consistency. Because in the next 3 matches, the Red Devils will face relatively easy opponents, namely Barnsley, Crystal Palace and Twente. So they should be able to create good momentum, besides a number of injured players will be available again later. If the 3 matches are successfully overcome perfectly, then the journey to face tough opponents like Porto and Tottenham will feel easier. The victory over Southampton has made the players confidence better, and made the manager breathe a sigh of relief. There is no other way for Ten Hag to maintain his position, other than leading his team to victory in every competition. Tickets to the Champions League and the Europa League trophy sound realistic to achieve if he continues to perform consistently.

Football is full of surprises and this is what makes gamblers to lose their bet because who on earth will believe that Liverpool will lose to Nottingham in Anfield. It was a shock to me because I lost my bet, personally I think the players were tired from the way they played or due to fatigue from the break.

Nottingham will be so happy to have full three point from a big club like Liverpool. Arne Slot should be prepared to win his next match to close the point gap. Only City have not lost any of their match.

This weekend is full of unexpected outcomes, I don't think any gambler will win money during the weekend games. On Saturday, Liverpool played Nottingham Forest at home. Although I didn't watch the match, I saw the score at the end and saw that Liverpool lost even though they dominated the match. I thought maybe a red card was given to one of the Liverpool players, but it is clear that Liverpool played the entire minute with all of their players and still lost. Many people will lose their bets since we do not expect Liverpool's first defeat of the season against Nottingham Forest.

It was Arne Slot's first defeat of the season as Liverpool manager. Of course, Nottingham Forest will be happy with the victory because they have not defeated Liverpool at Anfield in a very long time. Arne Slot's team must improve to win the next home games against weak clubs to avoid disappointing their fans, as they did against Nottingham Forest.
Of course, a lot og people lost their bet on that match because everyone believed that it will be an easy win for Liverpool but it was ghe other way. I think that Arne Slot is trying to focus more on Liverpool match against Milan in UCL and that's why henever prepared his men mindset on winning Nottingham.

Whatever the case may be Slot should just do whatever he feels will work for him as he is on charge
His concern should be how Liverpool wil win the league or finish on top four on tje table.

After Liverpool's defeat yesterday I am pessimistic and expect Arsenal to lose points too, it will probably be a dull season where City will dominate again (and Haaland will score 70 goals haha). I won't bet but I think Tottenham double chance at 1.50 is the right choice as Tottenham are underrated and Arsenal are overrated.
No matter how Arsenal play today, I expect that after this round City's odds for the title will rise to 1.4-1.5.

Arsenal is getting stronger and stronger all the way. I did not expected a win but I hoped for a victory for the Gunners and Tottenham didn’t make it easy for Arsenal yesterday.

What makes everyone so confident that Manchester City is going to be found guilty of the 115 charges? The City case is taking longer than Everton’s which means the premier league cannot make the charges stick. It didn’t take long before the other clubs were fined and punished. Which is why I believe Manchester City may not be found guilty of breaking the FFP rules.

So, anyone taking this after the last round surprise:

Draw or AFC is 3.75  Cheesy Yummy for the risk!
I swear if Liverpool loses a 1.29 after a 1.22 this would be one hell of an event!

Well, that's the point. It's risky to bet on the city. They could face a sanction. Betting on them means if we're also betting City to win the legal action against PL. It all depends on the court's decision. However, their odds are slightly down since they beat Brentford. It has gone from 2.05 to below 2.

Then pretty simple, bet on them and put an insurance bet on them being relegated, cause with 115 points deduction you have these odds for relegation

As I have said in previous posts, Odegaard's role is very important for Arsenal. Moreover, Rice is also absent due to a red card sanction. When these two players are absent, Arsenal find it difficult to dominate the match. Although Arsenal eventually won, the results they got were less than satisfactory. As we often discuss in many other posts, Arsenal really needs a pure striker when they have difficulty scoring goals. It doesn't mean that Harvertz, G. Jesus, Trossard are not competent, but they need a striker who can really be a Target Man in this case. For example, City, they can rely on Halaand in terms of scoring goals. In addition, other players can also score goals if they have the opportunity. Even so, I'm quite happy that Arsenal is back on the winning track. Thus, only two points away from the current leader of the standings occupied by Manchester City. And hopefully, Odegaard will recover soon and so will some of the newcomers, hopefully they will be fit to play their matches.

Honestly speaking the both players (Rice and Odegaard) are very important and there absence made the Arsenal side to be weak even if they got a win. And is really bad to see that whenever a key player is serving a ban or out due to injury it shows, which is not good for other teams to know their weakness, so Arsenal only prove that they can't play good football without some of these key players.
Other players can score goals but like you said Arsenal need a natural number 9, that position is extremely vacant, let's forget the fact that Kai Havertz is running that position and getting goals, no he's not a complete striker to me, no doubt he's trying but Arteta and Edu need to get someone to help the team.
Even if Odegaard takes like 2 more weeks to recover from his injury I still think Arteta need a plan B to get the business done because relying on a particular player isn't healthy if you want to win the league title and we know how Manchester City operate, when they need something they go all out for it, so I think Arteta need to reshuffle the team in case any sort of injuries or suspension comes up.
