First time become as Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp can't bring the trophies and make teams qualified to UEFA Champion League and management very patience waiting the progress.
Not sure with new manager Arne Slot have huge pressure for replacing Jurgen Klopp position and management won't to see Liverpool next season failed reach top fourth position standing or loss opportunity with Premier League tittle race. Usually difficult to find new manager success for the first season after appointing except with Pep Guardiola won the Premier League trophy for his first season appearance.

Looking the transfer activities, I doubt Arne Slot will be success for the first season than Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca have made many transfer during one month appointed as manager. Interested to see for next season considering several new manager of Premier League teams who will be the first sack from his position and who have opportunity keep stay until their contract expiry.

Todd Boehly seems to be much more patient this time with the new coach he brought to Chelsea. Because he definitely realizes that if the club continues to change coaches it will only make it difficult for Chelsea to develop and it will be difficult for the young players who have been brought in to develop. So this time I think Enzo Maresca will be calmer in coaching the Chelsea club. In fact, in an article I read Frank Lampard advised Todd Boehly to be patient with Maresca in building the Chelsea squad.

By now we should know that spending money does not guarantee that their will be success in that club, Chelsea have been under performing, despite the whole money that was spent, money won’t build a club you might be able to get players through the transfer window but how do you maintain them how do you breed them to be better instead of spending money aimlessly, because a lot of managers are always found of that. And eventually when they go bankrupt they start struggling financially. Exactly what Barcelona going through now, Enzo Maresca will want to start well. But Chelsea just have their way of disappointing people. I just pray they don’t fire Enzo Maresca, since chelsea wants to win by force.

It seems Liverpool is losing everything time after time. They first lost their coach Klopp and he said he was not going to work in this team anymore because he felt tired and now it seems some other players and superstar players like Salah are going to leave.
The bad thing about these players and Klopp leaving Liverpool is they were working there for years and it's hard to remember the time when Liverpool didn't have these players which can make Liverpool lose stability once they leave.

Before Klopp arrived to Liverpool on 2015 actually Liverpool too has a habit always be sacked their managers quickly or before they finished their contract and for an example Brendan Rodgers or Roy Hodgson these managers were failed to achieve the target given by the management and they have to sacked early but after this thing happened indeed Liverpool seems learn from their mistaken that since Klopp arrived to this team the management become more patient and give more chances for Klopp to build solid squad and we all know Liverpool under Klopp is not always be performing well but the management didn't decide to sacked him until Klopp has been withdraw from his position
During the transition of a change of manager usually the particular teams cannot able to performing well because all of the players have to adapt with new manager so if next season Liverpool a bit decline under Arne Slot hopefully the management will do the something just like they did to Klopp that they will not sacked him early and give him more chances and time

If we talk about friendly matches then I have a slightly different view from you at the moment, in my opinion friendly matches cannot be a benchmark to see the level or quality of the squad a team has, because basically we don't see the players will play with their best performing in this match in order to avoid possible injuries, friendly matches are only an alternative for coaches to be able to try game schemes or do a little experimentation in order to get a squad that is ideal for the style that will be applied by the coach to face official matches later, apart from, Friendly matches are often a basis for coaches to see young players who might be worthy of being included in their starting XL before the official match is played.

Of course not all great players make a good coach but in most cases people believe that since a player was very good during the time he was playing he will actually have a good quality of a coach forgotten that there is no how they can compare those coaches that follow the right process, so actually in the case of Lampard indeed he was a good player during his time but that wasn't enough to immediately go into coaching without much of a coaching experience.

However let's use Arteta for instance he was an interesting player when he was still playing for Arsenal those days but after he retired he decided to go for coaching and since he knew that coaching is not an easy task because it involves critical thinking and bringing a good strategy that would work very well for the players, he decided to work under Pep Guardiola because Pep Guardiola is a very experience coach and after acquiring the kind experience he needed, you can see he is now doing very well and now he is actually one of the best coach.

From the way Liverpool ended the season last season, I will say they tried even though they couldn’t win the league, we can’t compare their performance last season with previous ones. Liverpool's performance wasn’t so poor last season, they played well right from the beginning of the season until when the season was about to end. At some stage, I was thinking they might be able to win the league last season due to their impressive performance, and they were really fighting to stay in the first position. But when the season was about to end, their performance dropped, and I lost hope that they could win the league because they started losing matches they were not suppose to lose, but Arsenal and Manchester City were not really losing.

Of course not, if you say every season is just difficult opportunity then that not quite right for me because Liverpool also showed better improvement last season and of course it was good opportunity than the previous two seasons.
But seeing Liverpool best performance, I think I can only see it last time in the 2019/20 season when they managed to win the Premier League title and were able to have quite large point difference because they almost reached 20 points from Manchester City who were runners-up.

It should be remembered that finding striker who is really sharp and capable of being goal machine in big competition like the Premier League which is full of tight competition is very difficult, Salah has proven everything, he is player who is capable of being goal machine for Liverpool all this time.
Of course there will always be a replacement but it will never be easy or much better to surpass the contribution of Salah, who is the best striker who is very sharp, they already have team and are certainly difficult to find.
For example, Mbappe with PSG, until now it is not clear who can really become the second Mbappe for PSG who is able to become goal machine and show dominant contribution to the team success in winning the title.

Buying those young players and mixing them up with older players at least let there be some experience in the team, to me I even prefer to have more older players to guide the younger ones. The owner is trying to build Chelsea to be like Barcelona where they have young players who can deliver but he tried it last season and it didn't work and still repeating same thing and this time is even worse because I don't see Chelsea getting anything this season.
Any manager who care to manage a team as Chelsea need to put it to the owner that they need to be the ones in charge of getting players but I think they blindly sign the contract because of money and forget about their reputation, the current Chelsea manager might regret leaving Leicester City if things ain't done properly and fast because the season is on the way to get started.
