Fortunately, Liverpool is a club that is always patient enough to give the coaches they bring in a long time. And I think Arne Slot will also be given a lot of time to keep Liverpool in its best performance. The first season could be the toughest season for Arne Slot but if he manages to produce good results in his first season at Liverpool then he will get a lot of praise from everyone. but if he fails to bring Liverpool to its best performance then everyone will actually understand this in his first season. So it can be said that Arne slot will not be under such high pressure. But yes, Arne Slot still feels like he has a big responsibility and he definitely still wants to make everything run perfectly from the start. And Klopp also seems to really trust Arne Slot. So I feel that Arne Slot might immediately be able to keep Liverpool in its best performance, just like when coached by Klopp.
First time become as Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp can't bring the trophies and make teams qualified to UEFA Champion League and management very patience waiting the progress.
Not sure with new manager Arne Slot have huge pressure for replacing Jurgen Klopp position and management won't to see Liverpool next season failed reach top fourth position standing or loss opportunity with Premier League tittle race. Usually difficult to find new manager success for the first season after appointing except with Pep Guardiola won the Premier League trophy for his first season appearance.

Looking the transfer activities, I doubt Arne Slot will be success for the first season than Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca have made many transfer during one month appointed as manager. Interested to see for next season considering several new manager of Premier League teams who will be the first sack from his position and who have opportunity keep stay until their contract expiry.

Buying those young players and mixing them up with older players at least let there be some experience in the team, to me I even prefer to have more older players to guide the younger ones. The owner is trying to build Chelsea to be like Barcelona where they have young players who can deliver but he tried it last season and it didn't work and still repeating same thing and this time is even worse because I don't see Chelsea getting anything this season.
Any manager who care to manage a team as Chelsea need to put it to the owner that they need to be the ones in charge of getting players but I think they blindly sign the contract because of money and forget about their reputation, the current Chelsea manager might regret leaving Leicester City if things ain't done properly and fast because the season is on the way to get started.
The Chelsea owner has made a large investment to rejuvenate the team. I think the steps taken were very appropriate, but the club board did not synchronize with the manager so that the efforts made did not work well. Yes, maybe Enzo Maresca will also be very worried about this happening, he will not be given freedom in managing players so he will be the one who will again be blamed for the team's performance. So for this reason, Enzo Maresca really wants full support from the club owner and board so that he can fully control the team.
Todd Boehly seems to be much more patient this time with the new coach he brought to Chelsea. Because he definitely realizes that if the club continues to change coaches it will only make it difficult for Chelsea to develop and it will be difficult for the young players who have been brought in to develop. So this time I think Enzo Maresca will be calmer in coaching the Chelsea club. In fact, in an article I read Frank Lampard advised Todd Boehly to be patient with Maresca in building the Chelsea squad.

By now we should know that spending money does not guarantee that their will be success in that club, Chelsea have been under performing, despite the whole money that was spent, money won’t build a club you might be able to get players through the transfer window but how do you maintain them how do you breed them to be better instead of spending money aimlessly, because a lot of managers are always found of that. And eventually when they go bankrupt they start struggling financially. Exactly what Barcelona going through now, Enzo Maresca will want to start well. But Chelsea just have their way of disappointing people. I just pray they don’t fire Enzo Maresca, since chelsea wants to win by force.

Klopp left and we should not even think about him and Liverpool anymore. After all, he tried to do his best while he was working in Liverpool but any coach will leave one day and Klopp said he wanted to leave weeks before the start of summer which gave Liverpool a good chance to hire other coaches.
But Slot will have hard days in Liverpool because the fans of this team will surely compare him with Klopp.

Klopp won everything with Liverpool (except for the Europa League where he had two attempts but couldn’t take the title), but if you distribute the titles by year, these were not the most golden years. Liverpool fans did not rejoice at a serious title every year, so of course it will be difficult for Slot, but in my opinion he has at least two seasons to win at least something.
There is a big change coming to Liverpool next season and we all hope that it's definitely going to be a positive one because we all know the outcome of good coaches leaving a club after so much success. I don't know how Liverpool fans are but if it were to be clubs like Chelsea the pressure to continue would be have excessive because that club is always very anxious for success in short period of times.
At least Liverpool still have time to improve everything, but don't take too long because in a few weeks they will start friendly matches and they need a coach who can analyze the performance given by Liverpool. For Liverpool fans, it currently seems like it is still up in the air and there is no certainty that can please the fans. Success does not come in a very short time, Liverpool needs good teamwork and remaining calm in the face of problems in order to have a chance to win.

It seems Liverpool is losing everything time after time. They first lost their coach Klopp and he said he was not going to work in this team anymore because he felt tired and now it seems some other players and superstar players like Salah are going to leave.
The bad thing about these players and Klopp leaving Liverpool is they were working there for years and it's hard to remember the time when Liverpool didn't have these players which can make Liverpool lose stability once they leave.

Liverpool is also aware of this, even Jurgen Kloop himself did not immediately show good performance when he first coached Liverpool, he also needed time, therefore the club also treated Arne Slot the same. Even though the club is not burdening him, I think he will still do the best he can, it would be better if he could bring Liverpool like last season to compete in the title race but yeah I don't expect much Grin

We'll see how Arne Slot leads this big club but what is clear is that reaching the top 4 in the EPL is not easy, especially since Liverpool also have to play in the Champions League, so Arne Slot has a very tough task in stabilizing Liverpool's performance and hopefully not experiencing such a decline. drastic.

Before Klopp arrived to Liverpool on 2015 actually Liverpool too has a habit always be sacked their managers quickly or before they finished their contract and for an example Brendan Rodgers or Roy Hodgson these managers were failed to achieve the target given by the management and they have to sacked early but after this thing happened indeed Liverpool seems learn from their mistaken that since Klopp arrived to this team the management become more patient and give more chances for Klopp to build solid squad and we all know Liverpool under Klopp is not always be performing well but the management didn't decide to sacked him until Klopp has been withdraw from his position
During the transition of a change of manager usually the particular teams cannot able to performing well because all of the players have to adapt with new manager so if next season Liverpool a bit decline under Arne Slot hopefully the management will do the something just like they did to Klopp that they will not sacked him early and give him more chances and time

The friendly match is actually a benchmark for Arne Slot to build this team, I think Arne Slot has a long time before the league starts to be able to build the Liverpool team.
However, if you don't have high expectations for Arne Slot's first season in charge of the Liverpool team, this will not be easy for him with the big burden and the very competitive Premier League competition.
And I even have a little doubt that Arne Slot can build a Liverpool that is better than Klopp or equal to him.

If we talk about friendly matches then I have a slightly different view from you at the moment, in my opinion friendly matches cannot be a benchmark to see the level or quality of the squad a team has, because basically we don't see the players will play with their best performing in this match in order to avoid possible injuries, friendly matches are only an alternative for coaches to be able to try game schemes or do a little experimentation in order to get a squad that is ideal for the style that will be applied by the coach to face official matches later, apart from, Friendly matches are often a basis for coaches to see young players who might be worthy of being included in their starting XL before the official match is played.

Arne slot currently has a very big responsibility to continue the performance left by Klopp so far at Liverpool, so he should be able to immediately find a solution and also the best form of play from Liverpool so that he can gain the trust of the current fans, continuing Klopp performance So far which very positive at Liverpool is not an easy thing and we can say that Arne slot certainly requires a lot of great support from the coaching staff and current Liverpool players, Before choosing a slot as coach, Liverpool should already know the background and experience of the slot all this time and maybe they have to give it a lot of time to achieve what Klopp has achieved so far at Liverpool.

Whether he gets a lot of time in Liverpool or not will depend only on the results of the team, if Liverpool settles somewhere in the middle of the table or even worse somewhere at the bottom, then I very much doubt that the management will give him much time. I don’t know, maybe sometimes such teams should take risks to find new coaches capable of managing such large teams, but I am more inclined to believe that teams like Liverpool or Bayern have no right to such experiments, they are always aimed at maximum results, and therefore should take experienced head coach.

Of course not all great players make a good coach but in most cases people believe that since a player was very good during the time he was playing he will actually have a good quality of a coach forgotten that there is no how they can compare those coaches that follow the right process, so actually in the case of Lampard indeed he was a good player during his time but that wasn't enough to immediately go into coaching without much of a coaching experience.

Being a good player is not a criteria to becoming a good coach. In fact, there's a trend of most average players who turn out to be great managers of their time. The likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Pep Guardiola, Conte, Arsene Wenger where not really talked about as top players during their professional careers but performed exceptionally well in their managerial careers. Interesting enough, there are players like Thierry Henry, Paul Scholes, Rooney, Gerrard and the likes of Lampard that we are talking about. Seasoned managers like Jose Mourinho never really played professionally as players yet he recorded great milestones during his active years.

Actually one of the things that affect most clubs is lack of planning, though in as much as they would already have all the kind of players they needed but planning ahead of time is always one of the most important thing because majority of clubs has been going through a lot because of the inability to have put things in place, so actually just like you said since Mohammed Salah is the most valuable and the most experienced player in Liverpool what the team management supposed to have been doing is to be striving for a good player that would replace Mohammed Salah because already the club management knows that Mohammed Salah will not play for Liverpool till he retired so working on those things now should be there number one priority because if Mohammed Salah leaves the club without any replacement Liverpool will seriously be affected before they would get use to it.

Look at Lampard for example, he was a good players and was well respect, had a good time in Chelsea but loo at his career since he signed up been a manager, he has never achieved anything serious in his career, this is to say not all great players make good coach and not all good coaches were once a player in their life time. There are some of them that never play for any club and yet they are good because to coach is another talent on it own.

However let's use Arteta for instance he was an interesting player when he was still playing for Arsenal those days but after he retired he decided to go for coaching and since he knew that coaching is not an easy task because it involves critical thinking and bringing a good strategy that would work very well for the players, he decided to work under Pep Guardiola because Pep Guardiola is a very experience coach and after acquiring the kind experience he needed, you can see he is now doing very well and now he is actually one of the best coach.

At the beginning of Todd's arrival at Chelsea he took the wrong approach by trying to blindly where he did not want to leave the people Abramovich brought which was a disaster. He overhauled by replacing almost all management and players which is a crazy strategy for an investor who is actually new to football.

He felt that by having money he could get anything including power and improved performance but in the end it was not that simple because even though Todd overhauled and continued to let his money burn for the purchase of players but it did not get good feedback in terms of the performance given because apart from new players needing adaptation, this is the EPL which sometimes the situation is difficult for us to predict which is not realized by Todd because he seemed to think the EPL was easy at first but instead he himself was stuck for now.

Arne Slot is not burdened with a big target and he is not given that responsibility in the near future. Realistically, the Premier League is still a feud of two teams, Manchester City and Arsenal, the team has shown its rivalry in the last two seasons and is predicted to continue.

I will still respect Liverpool, because they are one of the elite teams in the Premier League only for next season with the transition period from Klopp to the slot so it certainly takes time and is not easy for him to go straight into the competition. If the slot is able to manage the team quite well, the hope finish in the top four is still open.
Liverpool is also aware of this, even Jurgen Kloop himself did not immediately show good performance when he first coached Liverpool, he also needed time, therefore the club also treated Arne Slot the same. At least Arne Slot can provide an interesting and promising game, even though they don't get a title in their first season with the new coach, there is hope in Arne Slot's hands for Liverpool in the following season. I think Liverpool is different from Chelsea, who are always in a hurry to make a decision to replace a coach, especially if their game is good.
This transition period is very important for a team that has just left a coach who has been with them for many years. That will definitely be something difficult because Arne Slot himself will definitely start to feel where the pressure is. Even though management does not set high targets, supporters will still expect something high.

That's the same support Pochettino wanted from the club board of directors but did not get and believe me when I say this, if the players like to play good football or play out poorly it will be on the manager's head and the desperate fans won't mind but splash out their anger on him and I believe the bad part will come out more than them playing well. The managers are never the problem of Chelsea football club, is the poor management of Todd Boehly and his associates that's the main problem, working hand in hand with the manager and the other staff will help build a better team but doing it alone without taking any advise from any experience personal is only going to flush Chelsea to a place that will be hard to come out from.

That's realistic, Liverpool's management is quite aware of this and it's a little profitable for Arne Slot because he doesn't have a big burden, this is different from Chelsea's management.lol.

In his first season I was also not sure that Arne Slot could keep Liverpool in the top 4, it is not easy to win against Premier League teams competing at the top, we have seen this from several Premier League teams in the past.
However, if Liverpool management continues to entrust Arne Slot to the process of building this team, it is possible that he can make Liverpool even better.

Of course not, if you say every season is just difficult opportunity then that not quite right for me because Liverpool also showed better improvement last season and of course it was good opportunity than the previous two seasons.
From the way Liverpool ended the season last season, I will say they tried even though they couldn’t win the league, we can’t compare their performance last season with previous ones. Liverpool's performance wasn’t so poor last season, they played well right from the beginning of the season until when the season was about to end. At some stage, I was thinking they might be able to win the league last season due to their impressive performance, and they were really fighting to stay in the first position. But when the season was about to end, their performance dropped, and I lost hope that they could win the league because they started losing matches they were not suppose to lose, but Arsenal and Manchester City were not really losing.

Moreover, so far the player that Liverpool really relies on is Salah and he only has one season left with Liverpool, if Salah leaves, maybe Liverpool chances of getting the title will also be further away because currently finding truly great striker is very difficult.
Isn't it just a difficult opportunity to get the title every season? In the end, Liverpool failed and Manchester City remained champions in the EPL and won the title four times in a row and also dominated the EPL well, so in my opinion, even if Salah leaves, of course he won't. It also affects Liverpool's playing performance, even though he is always relied on to score goals, but actually Liverpool can still find players who are better than Salah. There are many young players who are talented and more productive than him. If later Salah leaves Liverpool and Liverpool gets players. The substitute then won the championship title, of course it will make all his supporters aware that all this time Salah was not a player who could really be relied on when playing at Liverpool.  Grin
Of course not, if you say every season is just difficult opportunity then that not quite right for me because Liverpool also showed better improvement last season and of course it was good opportunity than the previous two seasons.
But seeing Liverpool best performance, I think I can only see it last time in the 2019/20 season when they managed to win the Premier League title and were able to have quite large point difference because they almost reached 20 points from Manchester City who were runners-up.

It should be remembered that finding striker who is really sharp and capable of being goal machine in big competition like the Premier League which is full of tight competition is very difficult, Salah has proven everything, he is player who is capable of being goal machine for Liverpool all this time.
Of course there will always be a replacement but it will never be easy or much better to surpass the contribution of Salah, who is the best striker who is very sharp, they already have team and are certainly difficult to find.
For example, Mbappe with PSG, until now it is not clear who can really become the second Mbappe for PSG who is able to become goal machine and show dominant contribution to the team success in winning the title.

I honestly don't understand what Chelsea hope to achieve with this kind of tactics. They believe in buying young players alone. The thing is if you want to get those young players, you have to give them time to develop and it will be best to have a manager that can handle them, but Chelsea don't have that patience.
In football, young players grown better when they're surrounded by experienced top player. Look at all the players in history from Kaka to Messi, to even Yamal currently these players grow better around more experienced players.
There's a reason Enzo performs better at Argentina than Chelsea. In Argentina he's surrounded by older experienced players.
I don't know what Chelsea's plan is, but it's clearly not working out for them.

Buying those young players and mixing them up with older players at least let there be some experience in the team, to me I even prefer to have more older players to guide the younger ones.
