This season too, Manchester United management is providing big funds to ten Hag to buy players. But I think Ten Hag will be a waste of money this season too. He can't find the right players for the squad. I would have been very happy if the Ten Hag had been sacked this season by the Manchester United management and a new experienced coach had been given the reins of the team.

We cannot expect United to have a new coach because the club board has given Ten Hag the authority to return to coach United next season. Actually, many fans want Ten Hag to be fired. But it seems that Ten Hag's success in winning the FA Cup and successfully qualifying for the European league made the club board choose to keep him. On the other hand, Ten Hag has actually succeeded in rotating several young players from the academy and I think that is an important reason to keep him.

Yeah, club management has many reasons to keep Ten Hag one of them as you said, is the FA Cup trophy and perhaps they realize that the problem is not entirely with the coach, sometimes player factors also have a real impact. If you ask me of course I would like to see Manchester United have a new coach but if the club management still gives it time, that's not a bad thing to consider.

So far Manchester United has not spent any money to bring in players but they have 6 new players who came on loan last season and one of them is Mason Greenwood, he was one of the important players a few years ago but reportedly this player will be released to the French League and Marseille is the club most interested. Manchester United has 3 players in the Right Winger position and 3 in the Left Winger position so Mason Greenwood is not really needed.

Try to remain optimistic because after all, Erik ten Hag also in his first season managed to make Manchester United able to compete in the top four. Because after all, it seems like you are just a pessimist so you are not sure Erik ten Hag will do something good for next season. Because at least, if you are still optimistic then when Erik ten Hag is given money to buy players, then of course you will still think maybe Erik ten Hag will buy better players at this moment unlike last season. But indeed, because Erik ten Hag has failed last season, then of course it is difficult for fans like you to give Erik ten Hag confidence. But, for me being neutral, at least I will still believe Erik ten Hag will be able to deliver good results for Manchester United next season.

It is true that he is a respected and loved coach, he does things right and for many Manchester fans the problem is not with the coach. The most important thing is to provide the coach with the support he wants, and this can be achieved with money. Even if you are the best coach in the world, if you do not have good players, there is not much you can do. Manchester United must make new transfers for next season, otherwise nothing will change for that team

Since ten hag became the coach of Manchester United, it is reported that Manchester United has spent almost 250 million euros to support ten hag to fix the Manchester United squad, but precisely what we see now seems that the money that has been given by the management is not able to be used properly by ten hag, indeed he ten hag has brought in many players to his squad in the last two seasons but we do not see any improvement in their team,if Manchester United again disburses large funds, of course they must be able to supervise so that Ten Hag makes good use of it, otherwise it is maybe we will only continue to see Manchester United next season no different from last season.

There is no hope for us to see a change of coach happen at Manchester United next season, because it is reported that Ten Hag will get a contract extension from the management after the evaluation was carried out previously, now of course we hope that Ten Hag can bring Manchester United to compete in the Premier League next season, so that we will again see Manchester United can be a team that is ready to block Arsenal or City in winning the trophy,  For now, of course, we can only hope that Manchester United management knows what their are doing by retaining Ten Hag as coach.

In the last two seasons we have seen Manchester United spend 96 million on Antony, and 75 million on Hojlund. And the performance of these two players did not go well with United. Ten Hag is heavily funded by Manchester United management. Ten Hag is adding players to the squad as per their choice. But these players are unable to adapt themselves to the gameplay of Manchester United. I would say this is Ten Hag's failure. He is unable to find suitable players for his squad.

If you don't expect ten Hag to be capable of some kind of miracle this season, then most likely it not happen. I understand what ten Hag was trying to do, perhaps he would have succeeded in a few seasons, because he took a lot of young guys into the team who still have to spend a lot of time to gain the necessary experience. Manchester United definitely needs to do something with the defense, perhaps replace Onan, if I were him, I would think about it, but I don’t believe that he can remain as Manchester United’s manager.

Regarding Ten Hag, we know what kind of coach he is at Manchester United. Once he joined there, they had harder pieces of training and harder training made Manchester United to have better performance while I think in Manchester United Ten Hag didn't have good relationships with some players and that maybe because of the harder punishments he had for the player otherwise he can have good performance in the nets season if they keep him.

It looks like Manchester United's management still entrusts the coaching chair to Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United's management still gives ten Hag the opportunity to show his performance next season, a major overhaul will occur under his coaching chair, which is clearly erik ten hag in control for now. Many Red Devils players were released to be able to bring in the players Ten Hag wanted. We'll see next season whether erik ten hag's concoction will be successful, I think it will take a lot of time to be able to compete next season, considering erik ten hag often disagrees with his players.

If the management is able to release a good sum of money to the manager to buy players and in the other hand the manager managed to buy inconsistent players, it is no longer the management fault.

If the manager buy some players that he thinks are good players and on the players arriving to the club they begin to get injured and become inconsistent, it is not the manager's fault.

However, the scout department is not only supposed to look at the future of a particular player, there were supposed to look at the present situation and the fitness of such player before they could sign him. I have this believe that Manchester United scout department need to be probed even right from the Paul Pogba ime till death

This shouldn't have been a deal the Blues are suppose to be happy to get to be honest with you, I don't think Chelsea need any more players because they have all it takes to be stronger again, they get in players but yet to let go off some players is a problem. The Blues are acting like the 3 Lions of England, they want everything just to be winning trophies but is not working. The player they signed can't bench any player in the Chelsea squad that is playing same position as him, highest is to send him on loan or the B team to play.
Chelsea have lots of players who haven't been in action since they signed for the club and that position (Attacking Midfield) is not even the problem of the club. To me I'd say get a good striker to get them goals because without lots of goals you're winning nothing, make Jackson competen for his position as a striker and sell some players like 2-3 players who haven't been active at the club, not getting more players to confuse the manager, signing teenagers who lack experience all in the name of building the team isn't the solution to their problem.

The season will soon begin because currently we don't know what the problem is with the Chelsea management, they are recruiting young players they like. I don't think Chelsea goal is to win trophies alone because they already have the players they need to win their games next season, I believe no team has sign more players than Chelsea since the end of this season games, they have had the best players, but they continue to add more players. I think Chelsea wants to be one of the best clubs in the world, they want to buy young players and develop them, If they improve and perform at a high level, they will be able to sell them at a high price, like Real Madrid, which has 15 Champions League titles, they bought players for low fees and developed their performance before selling them at high prices.

In addition, if Chelsea wants to build a team, they don't have to depend just on young players, however, they should strengthen their squad with experienced players to be serious with their performance. Chelsea did not have a striker last season, so they used Jackson. Though Jackson is not a bad player, he lost a lot of chances to score goals, if Chelsea had the best striker in the position, I believe he would convert the chances into goals. Chelsea needs to sign another striker since they did not agree to swap Lukaku with Osimehn.

From what you said about Chelsea do you think the owner have a clue of what he is doing? Let me remind you that without the fans the club is nothing and the management or should I say the owners of the club need to do something to make the fans happy because they are losing it, I mean the fans. You get more players and they play like amateur without any trophy or even competing for the title and also finishing outside the top 6 team on the log, you expect the fans to be calm and happy about it, no it can't happen.
They can't be like Madrid or even PSG, is best they solve the problem than recruiting players that won't add any value to the club. Jackson can never be a better player until he starts performing well and they have Broja but they sent him on loan which means they don't want the club to excel, with Lukaku still on the team I think he can make a difference only if he stays.

The Ten Hag spent a lot of money adding new players to the squad but failed to stabilize Manchester United's performance. The team was at the eighth place in the table. Manchester United may not have fired the Ten Hag to win the FA Cup, however. However, it is unlikely that Manchester United will be in the top four of the table next season.
However, during the season break and also this transfer window, Ten Hag is again doing the same thing where he is targeting several players who will be brought in to strengthen Manchester United next season and of course Manchester United will spend large amounts of money.

The coach will be the first person to blame when a team fails to perform well, but we also have to see how Chelsea management always makes hasty decisions regarding their coach. The reason is that they don't give the coach much time, in fact they only give the coach one season and then they fire him.
Many teams fail in their first season with their coach, but in their second season many finally make good progress and now Chelsea is not doing that.
Pochettino, for example, had to be fired at the end of this season, even though in terms of his game I think he could show progress, Chelsea were not satisfied so they fired him. It is very difficult for a coach if he is only given a very short time.
Chelsea is a mess. The board? The way they fire managers is worse than a reality TV show. They fire managers faster than I fire trainees. You're in the wrong place at the wrong time, Pochettino. Chelsea is more like a show than a team. They want results now, no patience, no vision.

I really wouldnt take that job even if they begged me to. With all of this chaos, no boss can win. Starting at the top, they need a total makeover. They can only go down from now on. They are the laughingstock of the Premier League, and they made it happen.

I've always said that you need stability and a clear plan to build a strong team. Chelsea? They dont have either. Sad!

Don't you ever know if Chelsea has been changing their philosophy under Todd Boehly? Chelsea is a team that develops young players, then sells them, and they are not the same as when they always try to compete as a title contender. That's why Chelsea recruited so many young talents, and because of that, their performance has been dropping so hard.
Todd Boehly is not keen on acquiring an experienced player, and he used Chelsea as a way to generate money. This is his main priority. And for the last time, Chelsea never received a swap offer from Napoli.

It’s weird and proves that Ten Hag has not been doing a great job with the team, the level of inconsistency is just too high, training pattern is definitely poor or not good for the caliber of players they have. Some might think that winning the FA Cup will prove that Ten Hag  is worthy enough but i will disagree because a team that cannot win small and average teams is not showing any signs of improvement at all.

Man United did have a bad performance last season. Ten Hag is still the first person who has to bear that responsibility, but I don't think it's entirely Ten Hag's fault because after all, he was quite impressive in his first season with Man United, while this season he can present the FA trophy which Man United has not been able to get for quite a long time. I think whoever the coach will definitely face tough days if throughout the season Man United has always struggled with an injury crisis.
All parties in the club deserved to be blamed, and ten Hag as well, because of his poor coaching style, had a bad impact on the team's performance. Players, management, owner, and all other elements in the club have their own contribution to make the club successful. It's not fair if we are only blaming ten hag, though he was often making excuses, but I think the unsuccessful season faced by United last season has been the fault of all parties involved in Manchester United. I will not really blame him for the many injuries that happened last season. Injury was one of the reasons United conceded a lot of goals last season.

Ten Hag needs to ensure the same situation will not happen again. He needs to recruit non-injury-prone talent. In conclusion, a revamp is needed for Manchester United to replace all of their injury-prone players.
Everyone involved in the team has their own responsibility for United performance last season, the bigger spotlight is on Ten Hag because he is the person who has a bigger role in the team. I don't think it's necessary anymore to blame Ten Hag for the setback experienced by The Red Devils last season, where club officials have now forgiven all of Ten Hag sins, and still want to keep him for next season.

A team consistency is directly related to the availability of players in the squad, United experienced a series of injuries which made them experience significant ups and downs in performance. Luckily, Ten Hag managed to lead United to the FA Cup trophy. I think if The Red Devils end the season without a trophy, Ten Hag will most likely not be retained.

It is fitting for Ten Hag to recruit players who have been tested and experienced, so that their adaptation process can proceed quickly, unlike last season, their new recruits were hot late. Meanwhile, I think Ten Hag will continue to receive full support from club officials in the transfer window, their defense is a priority that must be improved.
There's no doubt that everyone at Manchester United including the club players have their own sheer responsibility in Manchester United's poor performances of last season but we can't shy away from the fact that the it is the club's manager that should take most of the blames because it's his responsibility to make sure that the team succeeds. Erik ten Hag have been utterly poor with his tactical approaches since he became a Manchester United manager if you ask me and that's because the club is made up of quality players that can win the English Premier League title if well managed. The club management have done their best to make sure they sign quality players that will help ten Hag improve the team's performance but apart from winning the English FA Cup and the League Cup in two seasons, there's nothing else the Dutch manager can show as his achievement with a big club like Manchester United. Manchester United deserves better and if ten Hag isn't ready to help give them everything they need, they should do away with him

This time, Tottenham does not want to lose out to other clubs in the Premier League who are looking for new players at a younger age.
Tottenham managed to secure an agreement to recruit Archie Gray and signed him to a long-term contract as a profitable investment.

Source : https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1807756970734113149?t=I5o8Nf8FjPKPNVA74v_B2Q&s=19

Ange Postecoglou also seems to have the ambition to compete with other clubs such as Chelsea and Man Utd, who are currently prioritizing recruiting young players to make a big contribution in the long term.
Is this a sign that the Premier League will be tighter next season?
Spurs have made a great move to sign Archie Gray after all he was Leeds' mainstay last season. As a player with a midfielder position who can also play as a right back, this will make Spurs' defense even stronger. In his first season as a Spurs player, he may not get enough playing minutes, but at least he has to adapt to the other players to get his place.

Ange Postecoglou is quite known for his ideas that are beyond reason and perhaps one of the things he wants is to get young players to balance his squad. If we talk about competition with other clubs, I think next season Spurs will still be struggling in the area as usual, but if they succeed one step better they will be able to enliven the competition.

Currently, the English league team is indeed starting to target young players as their current transfer target, Manchester United and Chelsea this season look very aggressive in improving their squad by continuing to bring in young players, and even Chelsea has officially recruited 4 young players with a very young age, Tottenham is of course lucky enough to get Archie Gray who has indeed performed quite well with Leeds United this season,  Archie Gray will certainly be the right addition to Tottenham Hotspur next season, especially since Archie Gray who is positioned as a right-back and can also be plotted as a midfielder will be able to be a rival for Pedro Porro later.

At a very young age, archie gray has performed well enough so far that indeed he deserves to be targeted by a big team, Tottenham have to compete for archie gray with teams like Brentford and also arsenal, so by offering more than 40 million and I think gray who is still very young certainly has great hopes to develop with Ange Postecoglou later.

Chelsea's management is responsible for the club poor performance, because it was after Todd bought the club that the team performance declined to the lowest and they have being battling of picking form which have not being possible till date.

Changing coaches affects the performance of the team, also Chelsea started with weak coaches and not a professional one. Pocchetino is that coach that wanted to revive the team back to its standard but he was not given enough time. Enzo also needs time because Rome was not built in one day.
Todd has tried hard to improve Chelsea quality back to its best form, but his efforts so far have not produced results even though he has spent a lot of money. The arrival of new players and coaches has not been able to improve Chelsea performance, this time Todd chose a new path to try to give his best by bringing in a coach and several talented new players.

The main key to the club's success is in the hands of the coach, just look at how Xabi Alonso brought Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga with a very simple squad. Todd must try to learn from Leverkusen if he wants to see Chelsea provide competition in the top position again. Enzo Maresca is the new hope to take Chelsea in a better direction, he has also been provided with sufficient funds to bring in players who fit his criteria. Todd must give Enzo at least two years to show his work, Chelsea management must be patient with Enzo abilities, who has just started a new adventure with Chelsea.

I agree with you. Ten Hag can certainly be blamed for Manchester United's poor performance last season. Because Ten Hag did quite well in his first season with Manchester United. In the 2021–22 season, Manchester United finished sixth in the table. But Ten Hag's easily managed to overtake Manchester United in third place in the table in the 2022–23 season. That's why Manchester United fans had high hopes for Ten Hag last season. But in the last season we have seen further deterioration of Manchester United's performance.

Lots of typos in your comment actually, but I guess anyone who have been following the discussions on this thread for some time possibly should understand.

Generally, I agree with the both of you though, Ten Hag can't really be blamed for the poor performance of his club in the last season of the premiere league.
Like I will always say, it is absolutely wrong to expect that every club will perform really well in every season, if that happens, then which club are gonna be at the bottom? Oh, I get, Manchester united a big club, but again, even big clubs have their down times, even Manchester city that is reigning today had issues winning matches in some previous seasons, same too with Arsenal and the rest.

Manchester united have had their time in the past, and they will have their time again in the future, but then, if something must be blamed for their poor performance last season, let's blame that on the fact that too many of their good players were not able to play due to injury, which actually is no fault of the coach.

This time, Tottenham does not want to lose out to other clubs in the Premier League who are looking for new players at a younger age.
Tottenham managed to secure an agreement to recruit Archie Gray and signed him to a long-term contract as a profitable investment.

Ange Postecoglou also seems to have the ambition to compete with other clubs such as Chelsea and Man Utd, who are currently prioritizing recruiting young players to make a big contribution in the long term.
Is this a sign that the Premier League will be tighter next season?
The spurs headcoach, Ange Postecoglou is doing a great job for the club but he has to put in more actions because that's the evident point to prove his stationed position in the club. Tottenham Hotspur lose points against major clubs and we clearly understands the needing measures and targets of the club. Tottenham Hotspur will compete with other clubs and we're aware concerning the status of the club. They struggled last season and also missed out on the UEFA Champions League spot which is actually a devastating condition for the club.
