Confidence is very key in football and I am beginning to fear for Chelsea. They are losing focus so much that it's now becoming worrisome. They have only picked up one point in three games and could easily have been no point in three games and the worst part is that this were matches they should be winning.
Barcelona is more recent evidence that confidence is key in football because they lost it and now finding the win for Barcelona in La Liga is now becoming very difficult. Chelsea were flying some weeks ago but now to win games is a mountainous task for them.

It seems that Chelsea are starting to lose their momentum on keeping up with the chase against Liverpool on the table after they suffered two consecutive losses against Fulham and Ipswich Town. I guess the heavy task of keeping up the pressure with the chase on Liverpool will fall to the hands of Arsenal now when they play against Brentford in their next upcoming match and hopefully they will be able to walk away with 3 full points at the end of the match.
I was very surprised by Chelsea's defeat, I bet on them because I thought that since they were performing well and their opponent was having poor results to the point that they were fighting to get out of the relegation zone, that's why when I saw that I lost my bet, I said to myself: what the hell happened to Chelsea? If they had lost in a game against a strong team, I could even understand, but losing against a team that is fighting to get out of the relegation zone is a very bad thing.
So any team that is battling to escape relegation is playing like a wounded lion that was what happened to Chelsea yesterday against Ipswich, the only place that is competitive in the premier League table is among the bottom six teams as they are currently getting good results even against the top four teams. It's a bit disappointing because I lost a bet on Chelsea yesterday and the defeat was very unnatural if Chelsea didn't make so many mistakes. Unfortunately for the last match of this year Manchester United lost again and they have total 20 goals conceded from 11 matches in all competitions surely this is new records of Manchester United because they never did that before and i never imagined that big team like Manchester United should fight to avoid relegation zone because currently Manchester United has 7 gap points with the teams from relegation zone
I was hoping that Manchester United will show a better performance in this match but they failed completely. They were unable to score any goal in this match. Sadly after this match, it was the consecutive third loss for Manchester United. They are desperately looking for a win but unable to find one recently.

The season completes half of it and it is already a long run, not short run. Nottingham Forest with all matches played and all points had so far, actually deserve to be assessed with enough respect. Losing to a promoted team is indeed quite embarrassing for Chelsea, but because this is football, of course nothing is impossible.
