Arsenal have been slowly losing their position. They had a good chance to secure a top spot but have failed against competition that hasn't been that great.
They couldnt beat southampton in their own stadium which is a waste, if they continue to do badly in the league games then they will be caught up by manchester united which is currently fifth in the league.
