I think that today is the golden opportunity for Manchester United to pass Chelsea in the standings.Manchester has an easy game against a weak opponent while Chelsea faces Liverpool.Although Liverpool are already Champions from a long time now I don’t think they will tolerate Chelsea tonight.

Aston Villa 1 - 0 Arsenal

what a disappointment, my luck was that i changed my bet to Under 1.5 and apparently i got it right. but I didn’t expect Arsenal to lose this game and worse part they didn’t even score at least 1 goal.

everything went bad for Watford, at least Aston Villa knew how to take advantage of the opportunity. Watford will only be saved if he only wins against Arsenal and Aston Villa loses against West Ham, something impossible in my opinion

SO sad and bad luck for Watford last night.
They conceded 4 goals and along with the victory that Aston Villa got over Arsenal they are now in the relegation zone and they clearly need to give everything in order to go out of it and stay on the Premier League.

Arteta being overconfidence after won against City last week.
Or he is trying to rotate the team, something he prolly learnt from pep when he was assistant at CIty, but Arteta should know the difference in the two teams, city can rotate players and still replace them with even better ones, but Arsenal cannot for now, imo, he should always start his strongest players until they can substantially increase the depth of team, or could he already have one eye on the fa cup final on the 1st of August?

That being said, it would be interesting to see Arteta's lineup on the last matchday of the epl against Watford with Chelsea i think coming six days later in the fa cup final, Watford will be hoping for a weaker team to have any hopes of avoiding relegation. Grin

Good and exciting match yesterday, Manchester city where in there scoring ways trashing Watsford 4 goals to zero it wasn't an impressive performance from the Watsford team. Taking a trip to villa park it wasn't the fate for an underdog team as Aston Villa defeated the Gunners Arsenal by a single goal, Arsenal fresh off a win against Manchester city in the FA cup at Wembley stadium, could not put nail to coffin on Aston Villa as their survival Battle still has a breather.

Today's matches will not lack excitement as well

We start with
Manchester united vs West ham at old Trafford stadium. The hammers are in terrific form, Tomáš Souček and Antonio has been fantastic, Manchester united dids this win for their top four aspirations, West Ham are safe and would be in the EPL come next season but I don't think it would be easy for the red devils.
My prediction a win for Manchester united

The next game is
Liverpool vs. Chelsea
Congrats to the champions as they would be crown today, Liverpool has been the best all round team this season and a title win well deserved, but the would face a hungry for European football Chelsea at Anfield
My prediction a win for Liverpool with goals in the match. They would want b to do this for the fans.

Damn buddy your prediction was right. Hey bttbt let's talk about another matches in pm lol.
LOL I got a correct score in this match. 4 - 0 was the figure I was imagining. Don't get too confident coz I messed up big time in gambling and eventually these days I do not gamble much.

For the next match I am looking at a 0 - 2 win for Arsenal.

Quote
From this match, well, I feel Watford didnt give their best. Their performance is turning worse like when under Quique Flores. Really, the board should be blamed for their dumb decision sacking Pearson and didn't prepare other coach to replace him. But still I don't regret my decision to pick Watford to win. Let's hope they get luck in the final game against Arsenal.
I think justifying Watford by seeing the point table will be wrong. They played better in the entire season but did not able to score winning goals.

yeah, impressive, 0:4 is not that easy to win
nevertheless, other match is down, Villa won 1:0 and reached Watford number of points, it will be an interesting last round, Arsenal is a decision maker, they lost from Villa, and play with Watford last round

Watford conceived seven goals in last two rounds, Championship is near

Oh my god! Aston Villa won! This looks like the end for Watford! And I mean what are the chances that Arsenal will lose twice? Or even a draw, they already had an unexpected horrible loss today and next week they will surely play their upmost %100 to get a guaranteed win. I can't believe that Arsenal allowed Watford to fall, I mean don't get me wrong they have absolutely zero chance for europa so why should they work but finishing as high as possible should always be something important for Arsenal.

Honestly I do not see a way out for Watford, I actually think this will mostly end with a relegation for them and thats why I think the league is already over for them. Its sad to see a team with bitcoin logo and crypto sponsorship to go down, sportsbet mentioned something like they will continue anyway even if they fall but championship definitely doesn't get the attention premier league gets Sad

I also feel the disappointment of seeing the final result of Aston Villa vs Arsenal, how could Arsenal before it be able to beat Manchester City.
Now against Aston Villa, why could lose, actually what makes me upset is I bet big enough by choosing Arsenal. But this is interesting Premier
League there are always surprises in every game. In addition, I am also disappointed that Watford is likely to have to relegation. Because of
the match Watford last had to fight Arsenal and Aston Villa against Westham. Watford is unlikely to survive.

Liverpool will win the match or at least draw, indeed in the last 8 meetings Chelsea's record ~
I think the 8 meetings record cannot determine which team to win the match tomorrow. There is always a day when you can play more all out for a strong purpose. In this matter, Chelsea will try to survive in order to keep the dream of participating in the Champions League next season.

~ I am sure that Liverpool players will not lose motivation to still collect more points.
Indeed. That's why I stated it will be a tight match. Moreover, Liverpool will play at home, they won't make their fans disappointed. But I am still sure that the Blues has stronger motivation to win that match even it is not easy to do.  Grin

Arsenal really changed my mood at the moment, just to produce over 1.5 goals in match has been an issue, Arteta getting the selection wrong this time around, playing Nketiah along side with Lacazette really does not work, Nketiah should had been substituted at half time
Ikr, that's what I thought too! It surprised me when Arteta chose Nketiah over Pepe in the front three. And even though Pepe wasn't good enough for the starting line up, Saka could be another option in the attacking line instead of Nketiah. Arteta being overconfidence after won against City last week.

Such a surprising turn of events today with Watford demolished by Man city while Aston Villa get past Arsenal with a win. I had hopes that Watford would escape relegation but it seems it's now inevitable. The final match day will decide who goes and who stays. Watford's performance today was very poor. They had only 1 shot on target. It was a pain to watch them getting flogged by a dominant city side. Changing their coaches have made the team's performance unstable. They should've allowed pearson see out the rest of the season before showing him the door.

I don't want to even talk about Arsenal. How they managed to win both Liverpool and Mam city but lose to Aston villa is what I'm not ready to wrap my head around.

The match sent Watford straight to stare at relegation, now Watford needs to beat arsenal at the emirates while also hoping that Villa does not win at WestHam, that aside, Watford has to win by a comfortable goal margin too.

Tough luck for Watford , They got the tough team on the end of the season unlike some other. I was hoping Watford would win or even draw but It is also expected that they are going to lose against City.

. Aubamayang will start on final week day, to improve his goal scoring chances, its a tight call which i doubt Watford can survive

Is this confirmed? He has played today against Aston villa for full 90 minutes and they got a tough game on the FA Cup Final against Chelsea so there is a good chance that he might be benched or even play only for several minutes but losing 0 - 4 against City today might really give some psychological effect to Watford's players  Undecided

This is what I'd like to hope for, there is still some tiny hope for Watford and I would take that chances myself.

Now I feel like Watford don't have chance now especially watching their next game is against Arsenal and Villa have their game against West Ham.

To be honest, Their performance against City actually says everything out loud. It seems they are no longer going to stay on premier league . Tiny chances for Watford but it is better than having absolute no chances

Yes he was the one managing the team - H Mullins. He was like that the whole time from the time the game started. Well City as usual were really attacking well and also defence were somehow holding them. At last it all broke down and they thrashed them quite badly. While on other hand Aston Villa defeated Arsenal with 1 goal which puts them over Watford on the table.

Now I feel like Watford don't have chance now especially watching their next game is against Arsenal and Villa have their game against West Ham.

The worst scenario happened today by far for Watford. Not only losing with many goals vs City but also seeing Aston Villa winning... It is a nightmare for them!
Next games vs Arsenal will not be easy while Villa will face West Ham which is safe from the relegation zone even if it lose both games given the large goal difference.
A must win for Watford but also it must score many goals...

Well, now Watford needs at least a point against the Gunners who will be looking to end the league season on a high note, while Villa needs at least a draw (or watford to not get a single point) versus West Ham
This guy does not look impressed at all with what happened today. Embarrassed

From having an opportunity to getting clear to being thrown into the fire after they sacked the coach.
This is the interm manager or was it the other guy with tats on his elbows? Embarrassed

Unfortunate about what happened to Watford but I still think all the bottom teams will be losing their games so there shouldn't really be something unexpected going on, I feel like there is a huuge chance that Watford, Aston Vill and Bournemouth all losing their games at the same time for the rest and that way Watford would still be going up.

Additionally, getting a draw is not even enough for the other teams, they have to actually beat the teams as well and I feel like even though it is possible, that would be basically a huge challenge and would assume otherwise. So, it s sad that Watford couldn't utilize their roster this season, they are actually a very well team and they do deserve to be at a better place, but they will most probably stay in the league and fix things next year.

Watford took a hell of a beating, they will be hoping Aston Villa lose to Arsenal tonight which is probably likely. None of the teams down the bottom can win a game atmS
I was expecting a goal from Watford but that did not happen, either way i went with over 2.5 goals in the match and happy to see the flurry of goals even though Watford was not able to score but your expectation of Arsenal winning the match just went down the drains as Aston Villa was able to hold on to the goal they scored in the first half and i was expecting 1.5 goals in the match but luckily went with under 3.5 goals and i thought i was risking just before the match started but the entire match saw a single goal  Grin.

A deserving victory for Villa, who have fought all through the match in a bid to avoid the drop. Now the relegation troubles continue until the final day of the season. WestHam is safe it seems, but villa win be hoping arsenal thrash Watford, while villa will hope to get a point at  WestHam.

Arsenal went back to old story, no single creativity, alot to build upon though
