So according to calculations Bournemouth actually aren't relegated yet. Now Aston Villa and them will both be hoping that Watford loses their next games while they both actually win their remaining ones. Tough one for every one of them but I think the bookies will be backing Bournemouth here because  they have winnable games. Watford needs just 1 win to confirm their stay though so they have motivation.

No it's not, isn't it? If Aston Villa wins both their games against Arsenal and West Ham, 1 point won't be enough for Watford. With one more point they would be at 35 points, Aston Villa could with one win and one draw be also at 35 points, that's when GD decides. But with two wins Aston Villa would be at 37 points and would go past Watford

Actually if Aston Villa lose their next game with Arsenal then Watford only need 1 points out of last two games that they will be playing. If Aston Villa win their next game then they would have the same point as Watford

Since I don't really see any real chances for Watford against City and Arsenal they need to hope that both Aston Villa and Bournemouth dont win their games.

Thats why you should cross your fingers and hope Arsenal win against Aston Villa  Tongue. This would be crucial for Watford but we are now down to two last game of the season so probably Manchester City and Arsenal would go easy on Watford.

One thing for sure, Arsenal probably wont be playing all their main squad on matchweek 38 because Arsenal will be playing against Chelsea on FA Cup Final on 1st of August so probably they will be holding back against Watford

David De Gea for the last couple of seasons

LOL, that was really funny and certainly not very pleasant to see that he has shown poor performance over the past few season. He conceded many goalsand of course he is not the only one to blame for Manchester United poor performance over the past few season because the goalkeeper will find it very difficult to keep the goal without conceding if the defender is not effective enough to withstand attack from the opposing team.

De Gea is one of the best goalkeeper ever for Manchester United, although his performances have not been impressive lately. But he is still considered the best goalkeeper ever and I love it to continue to be Manchester United first goalkeeper for the next few season.

David De Gea has been really awful today, he has to be blame for the loss, two errors from him,  Romero should had start instead of Gea
Arsenal vs Chelsea at final, London rival clash, Arsenal needs to revenge their Europa cup defeat this time around

De gea has been lacklustre in recent times though.  I didn't expect him to let those 2 goals slide past him especially in an important game like this. Maguire was unfortunate with the own goal too. To be honest, I expected Manchester United to win the game. But Chelsea vs Arsenal in the final is an interesting fixture to look forward to. I hope Arsenal wins it though. They really need a trophy.

Those two goals cheaply conceded by DeGea was quite disappointing and a costly mistake for a highly rated goalkeeper of a big club like Man utd personally I agreed with you that Romero should had manned the post probably the match might had ended in a draw although Chelsea dominated the match and deserve to win thus proving some of their critic wrong based on their previous encounter with Man Utd this season losing most their meetings.
The final match with Arsenal is going to be a different ball game now that Arteta is in charge of the North London club, the club has improved tremendously in recent times and they will surely try to avenge their last Europa cup defeat against Chelsea.

I wonder when will the direction of manchester united start thinking about hiring better coache

With what was at his disposal and usually available players that OLE has been able to count on this season, I think he has done an impressive job, I'd rather Man Utd stick with him for years more, dynasty aren't built in a day and you can ask Liverpool. Changing coaches every now and then is never a good and it usually disrupt the progress of each, when they'd need to adapt to a new approach and philosophy often.

I am quite happy that Southampton won, that means there is a chance that Watford could stay in the league. Now Watford has 2 games, against City and against Arsenal both of which looks like it could be a very easy L for them and that is scary, that just means they can't stay if other teams win their games, so it is not up to them, however if they can get just 1 point out of those two games, they are guaranteed to stay.

@Globb0 Ever since they got their new shirt sponsor "Three" they are surprisingly scoring 3 goals or are conceding 3 goals.

That is not surprising, it is part of the contract. They get hefty bonus for every game where they score or concede 3 goals. So if you can"t score them then you let opponents score to get to the magic number 3.

Since sarcasm and attempts to be funny often fall on deaf ears here in the forum, let me just say that above is of course joke, but could be true  you never know.

Great game by Chelsea, I was quite sure united is winning this but they decided to rest few players and paid the price. Who would have guessed, Arsenal and Chelsea in the final. That is the beauty of FA cup.

On the other side Bournemouth will play Everton and has to win to stay, I do not see a win for them neither, it looks like it could be a good L for them as well. Aston Villa on the other hand will play Arsenal and West Ham, I think Arsenal would be a tough game but West Ham guaranteed to stay and not aiming at anything so maybe they could win that game.

David De Gea for the last couple of seasons

True indeed!!!

Manchester United's defence haven't been good also. I wonder how they come out with around 100m USD for Maguire. United need someone proper if they are to challenge big teams. Maguire isn't a proper defence option.

United just scored 1 and from penalty.  Roll Eyes

yeah whoever was saying that Chelsea 3 goal thing you are a god and presumably also rich now?

here

It is a straightforward bet and i do not see Norwich scoring any goals in the match considering their poor record in the past games as they failed to score a goal and their defense is pretty weak and i am expecting atleast 2 goals from Chelsea and i would like to take a risk and my bet is on Willian to score a goal because of his recent form in assist and scoring goals.

Since Chelsea got their new sponsor "3 Mobile" in all the match they played the winning team scored 3 goals. Like if Chelsea won they scored 3 goals also if they loose they conceded 3 goals. So, I think this will be another 3 goals match for Chelsea.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  They will easily win the match. And I also think that Willian will score today too. As he is in a good form now.

Attached a screenshot for the reference:

Thanks for this tip

Nice parlay Globb0 but I would even just add in Real Madrid to that (yes, not EPL but 2/1 is always good value for me I believe haha).

Oh and for sure Spurs is good value I am actually surprised that we are not given less odds,,, Leicester is always strong even with their past losses and you can never discount them.

Disappointed I missed out on the spurs on my bigger bet I went back in with Chelsea and RM

@LFC yeah man. I know Alisson made a mistake in the Arsenal game but that was of him trying to be super cool and enjoying himself (same as VVD) so that's a difference we know he makes. But that haunted look in De Gea's face? I last saw that in Karius.

Anyway, Chelski up 3-0 there's no way back for United here. Leg 1 of my parlay done, now for Real and Inter to make good!

yes, indeed
you can count these two goals within two minute period, with 15 minutes break for people to chill out, and David has a chill out with them, early from the first half, and a bit late on the second half, and we will have London derby in the final match

Watford have a couple of tough but crucial games ahead, and the board decided it was the perfect time to sack the manager ?? what the shit? they have 2 days to find the replacement, and he will debut against Manchester City, yikes!

IIRC Watford appointed Pearson in December I guess. They had good run after his appointment but weren't able to continue same form since the restart. It isn't gonna change much result now at this stage as I feel so I think changing manager this late is pointless. For club with out of options that was terrible idea.

Well if they think a change on the sideline is necessary better do it as soon as possible to give the new coach as much time as possible to work with the team. In this case it's a mental thing anyway since no coach can change the team completely in one week time. And about finding a replacement ... I am pretty sure they already had someone in mind and were in talks with him when they made the decision to replace Pearson. But having to face ManCity and then Arsenal is all but great when you are in a situation like Watfords and they will probably rely on Aston Villa and Bournemouth not to win their match(es).

Kane crashed Leicester that played good until first own goal.
Leicester also had more ball possession and they attacked more, but Tottenham used counter attacks and played smart for total score 3:0.
Leicester can still qualify for champions league but they need to win match with Manchester and expect for Chelsea and ManUTD to make mistake.
Still interesting fight for first four positions, other than champions Liverpool .

No CL for Leicester we can pretty much guarantee it now.
Leicester City at UCL are a surprise team that is still inexperienced. I prefer other big EPL team like Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham to enter the elite European competition (UCL) compared to Leicester. But this does not mean that Leicester does not deserve to be in the competition, its just that I prefer the other.

Manchester City will certainly lose their place at UCL next season even though they managed to rank second in the EPL standing this season. By the way, who deserves their place next season, is the team that finished 5th and who will qualify?

but would Chelsea win on Anfield, i do not expect that at all
It's not impossible. Liverpool is not giving their best since they secured the title so there is a hope for Chelsea in Anfield. I think Chelsea and Utd will be the other two CL qualifier.

And guess now they are down 3-0 to Tottenham at the first half, perfect scenario for chelsea and Manchester United. Yeah Poor Leicester.
No CL for Leicester we can pretty much guarantee it now.
