I will bet and take Southampton in this match.

If I am forced to lean either way, I would go in the opposite direction and choose Bournemouth to win the match. Both teams are coming off the back of victories, Bournemouth were very impressive against Everton, especially defensively.
The home crowd would have an effect, but Bournemouth should be sharper in the final third.

Chelsea is building something new with Lampard and they definitely need more time for that.
No doubt about that, Chelsea are building something new with their new manager, but that doesn't make them pushovers or less of a big team.
When two big teams play, irrespective of form, or which has slightly better players, it still turns out to be a tough encounter, the ego is at stake as well as bragging rights of who defeated who amongst the big six. Only on few occasions can a capitulation occur on the part of one of the teams.

That said, Chelsea are in this game and the two teams have nearly equal chance of winning, Liverpool obviously are the ones in the greater form, but Chelsea still remain a top club and that's enough motivation.

Chelsea has long been said to be a big club in the English league. Lampard and Chelsea do need time, It's still too short. Building a team does take 2-3 next season. With the achievement of the lampard now, in my opinion it can be proud of. But it does not stop there, Chelsea must rise again and against Liverpool in the upcoming match. It is very evident that lampard will be able to overcome it.

Liverpool will win this match by 2 goals difference. Either 2 - 0 or 3 - 1

True that they are trying to build something with Lampard  but Liverpool is an inform team and their mission is only at the season title. They know agains big team they will need to be extra careful because they only can make damage to Liverpool. By big team, I am considering City, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Tottenham.

So far we are good. 15 out of 15 from 5 matches.

Chelsea vs Liverpool should be a great match. Both teams lost midweek although you could say both possibly didn’t deserve to lose. Chelsea missed a penalty which would have made it 1-1 & Liverpool conceded a penalty which shouldn’t have been given. I really don’t understand what is the point of VAR if it doesn’t change wrong decisions.

Any way, I think Chelsea vs Liverpool will be a close one, maybe a draw.

After the recent results that Chelsea have done, i don't think that this match is going to be very competitive.
I believe that Liverpool is going to dominate this game and probably score around 3 goals in the match as Mane is on fire.
Chelsea is building something new with Lampard and they definitely need more time for that.

If you look at the previous match (head to head), surely it can be said to be contradictory. Well, we know that Lampard and Chelsea need time to build a team. But usually they will be strong if they meet a strong team. So this week's match, it might be fierce and Liverpool could lose their points. I hope this will be a draw.

Do you mean the Super Cup game? If you say so, it was a great match and Chelsea played really well there.
But, this was the only match which Chelsea tried really hard. All other matches was truly disappointing and Lampard has now started using young talented players in the squad.

One fixture which I'm very interested in, is Bournemouth - Southampton. It's very difficult to predict (as all premier league matches), and I'd be going with shared points by both teams. Bournemouth are in a good form and a victory would take them to second position on the log, but Southampton can always hurt any opponent, possibly a 1-all draw

I also think it's a difficult match to predict.
I really agree if this match ends in a draw later. Southampton is more favored because they play at home.

I will bet and take Southampton in this match.

This match prediction seems difficult.  in my opinion Southampton is more favored because playing at home and their last 3 matches are better than Bournemouth.  although a draw is still very possible.
take southampton for this match.

Honestly I will not go to draw to bet, because I think both will beat each other. Liverpool want to win to solidify its position as the top of the standings, and of course for the solace of the defeat at the champions league. Chelsea too, they will do a revenge mission after losing in Super Europe. I'm sure this match will end with a lot of goals. over 2.5 goals be a good bet
Both teams lost in Europe and now going for another tough match but this is going to be very exciting match and as Liverpool playing in Premier League I am going with them they have good edge against top teams in Premier League and can ruin Chelsea at home with high fly attack so Liverpool is going to stay on top with this another win.

Chelsea might try to force the game into a draw or even win it. but playing in anfield the match atmosphere is definitely different,
seeing liverpool match statistics it's difficult for Chelsea to hold a draw or win it. if it is indeed possible it may be their best day.
if Chelsea were able to defeat LFC they would add more pain after yesterday loosing in UCL

Well, Chelsea's Main Target certainly wins and gets 3 points. But it will be difficult to achieve, the draw results will be very good for Chelsea. Playing at home to Chelsea only affects a few percent, the rest of the players are determined.

Both of these teams will receive illness for the second time, because both Chelsea and Liverpool both suffered defeat at UCL.

I have put my money on the line for their CL match against Valencia. Things will not go down easy for them but somehow I feel Chelsea is gonna win this. Hope that becomes the case
Too bad, didn't go that way, money lost Grin, Chelsea were obviously the ones tipped to win that game, buy they didn't. Their performance was really great and they missed a couple of good chances, since the beginning of the season, I think Chelsea have been playing real well, but they've not been picking up victories, even in games they totally did play better than their opponents, just like this one, Valentia made the most of their limited chances.

Liverpool also lost to Napoli and this sets up their encounter between Liverpool and Chelsea this weekend well, as the two sides are coming up against each other on the back of midweek Champions league defeats, no psychological advantage for any of the sides, it's down to who can recover better.
If Lampard does win this, it'll be a massive boost to his morale as Chelsea manager.

Strange news for me I thought de gea would leave, was he not already looking at someone else and stalling his contract recently?
That's probably bullshit news as usual.
Remember, most media spread low quality, clickbait, provocative news that might have no verifiable and trusted source at all. They love to spin and make their own interpretation of what managers & players said in front of them.
Never, ever, trust news that are not released by the club itself.
for example like this;
provocative news -> https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2807829-is-david-de-gea-on-his-way-out-of-manchester-united
verified news -> https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-de-gea-news-16559603

Information dissemination is very fast nowadays, hoaxes are becoming one of the most dangerous, so we have to be really careful in reading news that is spread.

Lampard's Chelsea is a story too good to be true. But it can become of that kind because the potential that this team has is really interesting. Young English players like Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham can build up to something great at Stamford. They love the club, they have been there for a dozen years. They feel the club in their hearts and they will fight for this club on the pitch, providing some of the continuity after Lampard's and Terry's departure a couple of years ago.

It this team capable of fighting for the trophy? No, at least not yet but the future seems really bright for those boys.

I don't expect for a wonder from Chelsea this season considering how things went down for them but they are starting to turn around things for themselves. On other hand it is good opportunity for Mount and Abraham as well to prove their worth and dedication for the team. BTW it's not too late things and they can change table in their favour if they continue to perform like on last round in upcoming rounds.

I have put my money on the line for their CL match against Valencia. Things will not go down easy for them but somehow I feel Chelsea is gonna win this. Hope that becomes the case

I don't think anyone is expecting Chelsea to contend for the title this season. The main goal is securing a spot in the champions league next season which can only be done by ending the season in top 4 or winning the champions league.

Actually it is not wrong if Chelsea compete to become league champions. But I agree with you too, that the other more important target is to enter the champions league zone for next season. For this season, Chelsea really are in doubt to compete in the EPL to be champions, but if it is capable, then even better.

We'll be meeting the best team in Europe (Liverpool) and probably the best currently in the premier for our next game. It won't be a shame if we lose...
If Chelsea can beat Liverpool, then they are real contenders for the title.

I don't think anyone is expecting Chelsea to contend for the title this season. The main goal is securing a spot in the champions league next season which can only be done by ending the season in top 4 or winning the champions league.  Anyone expecting us to win it all this season is day dreaming although it's football and anything is possible.

Lampard will need more that 1 transfer window before we can start demanding he brings the premier league title home. For now we have eyes on other cups he can probably win to complement the wonderful season i foresee him having.
