Last spot for champion league zone still hasn't determined yet and Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd still have equal chance to finish on the top 4 but my predictions probably last spot will belongs to Chelsea

Not sure because this week the two teams will compete at Old Trafford , I'm not sure Chelsea can beat MU and this is the last chance for MU to get a ticket

There is also Europe league, I expect to see Chelsea and Arsenal in the final game. The winner going to CL next season and there is possibly one of them may be fully dedicated to this competition, maybe easier than through placement in top four in PL. I remember Man.UTD two years ago.

Liverpool to batter Huddersfield tonight & go 1st place again until Sunday. Pressure will be on Man City to regain 1st place but so far they pass every test.

This is the last season for Huddersfield before going down to the lower division. Today Huddersfield play without burden so Liverpool will take advantage of this moment to score more goals.

Really hoping that City slip up somewhere, Liverpool have played their hearts out this season and deserve to cap it off with a title.

In December Liverpool was about 10 points ahead of Manchester City.
City made the comeback and they are now first so I think that City deserves this title more than Liverpool this season. They made a huge comeback and now they have gained the 1st position which was seem unable to happen in December.

Burnley are on form with 3 wins in their last 4 so that's probably the best chance, although Leicester did beat them at home on boxing day. I'm cautiously optimistic for one more plot twist before the end of the season Smiley

Also, I just noticed some new lines added to our EPL offering, focusing on head to head matchups for finishing positions:

Who will finish higher in the Premier League?

- Tottenham (1.12) v Chelsea (5.00)
- Arsenal (1.35) v Man Utd (3.05)
- Chelsea (1.75) v Arsenal (2.00)
- Chelsea (1.25) v Manchester United (3.40)

What do you think?

I'd be tempted by Man Utd to finish above Arsenal, but I'm fairly sure they will be spanked by Chelsea this weekend.

To be honest, I doubt Man Utd will finish above Arsenal, but the 4th spot will be that of Chelsea, I guess. Arsenal and Man Utd have all the the chances in the world to secure the spot, It wasn't meant to be season, I'd say.

It is still just one point that separates them so anything could happen, it doesn't have to be a loss, even a tie would change so much things. I think though Liverpool still has that champions league chance so it doesn't really matter to them if they win or not as long as they win the champions league, if they lose both of them though than it would not be really nice.

Moreover, when you think about it going to semifinals on champions league and being the second team on EPL all worth a lot, they have done all they can this year and that is fine in many teams book, just because they had a good run in the past few years doesn't mean we should expect both the league and the cup from them, it is still a decent runup even if they lose all their games from now on. We gonna see what the remainder of the games be like but I feel like the challenge will continue.

At least this season is the best season for Liverpool compared to previous seasons it's just that they need one title to perfect this season
I know the current situation is harder but still hope Liverpool get one
Well, compared with the previous season yeah Liverpool is on their best performance in this season and they even reach the semi final again on champions league but it's still sad if Liverpool can't become the champions on premier league this season, they are almost got it. I hope man city get a lose or draw result on their remaining match lol.

That is possible even though there is only 1% chance for them luck can occur, for example Man city plays with 10 players when one player gets a red card  Cheesy

Farewell LEO: o_e_l_e_o

We are Liverpool FC - European football royalty.
May the football spirit be with us.

I actually don't know how I fall for Liverpool I never even lived in Liverpool (A relative of mine live there and that's all) but I liked their football from the time when I started to understand football. I am in my late 30s. So, it's been long time. I have seen good days and bad days, ups and downs but still always Liverpool had in my heart. So yes, no matter where we end, LFC will be the team I will cheer for.

I do hope we get the CL title however I will still keep my hopes alive for PL too until the last match.

Now after City's great performance against United they have good chance against Barcelona because they have some good record and capable to beat them for this year's UCL win.

I gotta say that finishing the season with 97 points, only one loss and still not be able to win the title is as impressive as it must be frustrating.
Whatever happens LFC and City will both have had a great season... actually, just looking at the european competitions semi finals, all English football had a great year so being one of the top two teams of such a high level championship is quite an accomplishment.

Pogba doesn’t belong in that team, he’s crap. He was one of the main culprits for getting Mourinho sacked too.

To be fair he's had more shots on target than all of the Man Utd strikers this season  Grin

I would have probably put Christian Eriksen in there instead. The dude has had an impressive season.

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
Aside him having more shot on target, I don't think Pogba have something to do with Mourinho sacked issues because the Coach was purpose to solve the team technical problem on field of play and if Pogba was not rightful person to make the team win he have the right to look for another alternative. Did hear the statement Sol made that Pogba can't have all things working his own way?

I think that  Leicester is the only of the remaining 3 teams that cut make a surprise against Man City, but City has them at home, so the chances for that to happens are very small.

And Burnely too.  Never ever underestimate Sean Dyche and his lads eerr men.  They can be a funky bunch when need be to hold City back.  Well back enough to not them make some goals.  Grin

I agree with you about Sean Dyche's Burnley, they are yet to lose a game this month and have won three and drawn one of their last four matches, but they don't have much at stake anymore like they did a month ago, they only need one point to secure their stay in the premeir league, or could need Cardiff to drop any(which is highly probable too) to stay.

It hurts but I’m beginning to accept Man City aren’t going to slip up now. They’ve won every PL game since January, what can you do to compete with that.

I’ll take consolation that their dirty oil money still can’t buy them a CL trophy.

They have Burnley, Leicester & Brighton left to play, I think it’s over Sad

The feeling that you’re currently going through is the same feeling that Manchester United and Liverpool fans are feeling. As a Manchester United fan it always hurts to see Manchester City win the title, and last night Manchester United did nothing to stop them from winning it. I feel Leicester City is the only team that can spring a surprise on Manchester City, other wise there’s nothing stopping them from winning the title.

You can't give up just yet, there is still much that can happen with either Burnley and Leicester city, Leicester won the first leg back in december, I'm sure Man City will step up their game since they know what is at stake, but you never can tell, Only one of all Man City losses(4) in the premier league this has come from a team in the top 6 position, all other 3 losses were against teams from the 10th position or below.
