Indeed, I don't understand what the problems are at Manchester City which seems to be easy to enter the final at UCL this season and become a champion at EPL, but after everything passed I no longer felt Manchester City had the power to pursue Liverpool in the top rank. No matter how Manchester City will continue to win the rest of the EPL matches, I just hope Liverpool are able to secure their points to become EPL champions this season.
The problem is luck that is not on their side and the consistency of the game that they cannot maintain in every game. The Premier League is one of the densest leagues of its schedule, possibly a factor of fatigue and the conditions of the players which are the main factors why this team always fails to reach the final of UCL. As for the Premier League champions this season, they still have such a big chance it's just that they have to be able to win all the matches in the remaining Premier League matches this season without having to lose because when viewed from the number of matches they are still one game ahead of Liverpool.

Going for an easy city win this time though expecting spurs to be exhausted and city have the squad to start players like jesus/sane who are fresh.
Both teams will be exchausted, especially Tottenham who were running behind the ball pretty much the entire game. Though, mentally, I think City is the one a bit weaker in that regard.

I remember last year, City lost to United, then they were KO'd from the CL by Liverpool and everyone thought they were going to bottle it, next game against Spurs, they won, so the citizens are used to big dissapointments but they quickly recover domestically. Let's see if the same thing happens next saturday.

Interesting how the bookies have a home win @1.25 while a Spurs win is @9.00. It's payback time for the citizens, I'd go with H win and +3.5 goals lol

It will be more of psychological game for this match.
I don't think that City's 1.25 is a value bet, they will be very stressed because if they lose this match and make a consecutive two losses against Tottenham then they will be probably out of the Premier League title as well.

It seems right to say that Manchester City does not have the CL champion DNA, even if they enter the final they have trouble even though they have coaches with a myriad of achievements. But, they lost the opportunity to become champions in the continent of Europe to be able to focus on Premier League matches, don't let their mental failure in CL this season be utilized by Liverpool to seize the opportunity to become the Premier League champions this season.

Could pass very easy. I'll be playing something like that as well. City has much more quality on the bench and they will want to punish Spurs. Spurs have also probably celebrated a little bit longer so I am expecting them to be a bit sluggish in the beginning which should be enough for City to put another comfortable win under their belts.

There must be something different in City after last night, I mean they are knocked out of CL by a team that is under them at the league and given worse odds, they should have beaten them and go to next stage and when you are at finals or semi finals than its normal that you do not win the league because you get very tired but since they are no longer there the remaining games must be the upmost importance for them.

That is the reason why I think the important part here for them is how are they going to take this loss, will they just pout and give up and feel sorry for themselves or will they just get up and say we still have EPL and play accordingly ? If they do the first than kudos to Liverpool but if they are going to do the second than their remaining games are as certain as any game ever.

^  Two errors by Laporte.  At least it wasn't a semi final or worse, a final.  Lol.  Something like that could cause something like PTSD for the weak minded.  Cheesy

Now I reeeaally fear for City.  What if Liverpool wins the league and the CL.  Lololol.

That's going to be a very ironic ending to Man City's season, after all the hype by the media and other sports analysts of a potential trophy sweep by the Guardiola's men, I'm sure the City's dressing room to would have been thinking of the possibility of the quadruple titles.

Spurs have nobody to bring in for that next city game.  City also have stones unused aswell as others already mentioned.

They will win again, yesterday they were unlucky , Lorente admitted himself, ball was touched with hand.It is only the Premier League left to be won for Manchester City and they will only be focused there that is why the 1.25 odd.

Now it will be interesting to see how the remaining games play out as Man City was knocked out of the CL tonight while Liverpool made it through to the semi finals along with Tottenham. Man City can now just concentrate on the Premier League while Liverpool have the CL to worry about so its going to be interesting to see how this plays out for the remaining matches in the Premier League. What is everyone's thoughts on this?
I think winning the title in Premier League should be an easy mission for Man City if they remain concentrated. I was thinking they have 2 more hard games coming against Tottenham and United but since they got knocked out by Tottenham today they should definitely kill it when they play again so if they win the match against United tthe 1st place is almost assured for them.

I don't think so. They were a better team than Spurs but they knocked out. Winning in CL was their priority and failed. Look a few seasons back, always have worse results in PL when playing in this stage on CL. I think they are demoralized and it will be difficult to achieve all the winnings at the end of the season. Unless Liverpool start to do stupid things  Cheesy

Cant wait for man city tottenham now on saturday.  Going for an easy city win this time though expecting spurs to be exhausted and city have the squad to start players like jesus/sane who are fresh.

I'll Man City on - 1.5 Handicapped, it's really going to be a long day for Tottenham, I guess.
But anything can happen, Tottenham could end up being the torn in Man City's flesh the season as there might be another upset caused.

Can you imagine how much pressure city are under to win this game, they HAVE to win EPL now.  tottenham can lose this and still make top 4.  Easy bet on city win. Smiley

It's going to be very interesting to see how Man City will react after this painful exit in champions league, they should have been in the semifinals!
With odds around 10 for a Tottenham win, I'm going to find a good handicap bet on Tottenham!

Now they should focus on the Premier League fully, and it will be a disaster for them if they won't win the EPL title.
Guardiola made so bad coaching yesterday, especially after they conceded the 3rd goal but I think that he will make his best in order to get the Premier League title.

valuable victory over Chelsea made Liverpool more sure and confident because they had traumatized the defeat against Chelsea when they failed to win. and I'm sure now is the right time for champions.

I'm certain that Man City will end up as the premier league champions for this reason, They'll have all their focus on the league, and would seek revenge as they'll be playing against Tottenham again in the weekend, while Liverpool will have their attention divided between the premier league and  champions league where they could reach the final if they are able to beat Barcelona.
