Yup yup...  This season should be good and a close battle between Man City and Liverpool.  We already know Man United is out.  It would have been nice to see a three way battle.  I'm also starting to feel genuinley sorry for the real Man United fans.

Give me a break, one win and one lose from Manchester united and they are out from the champion race? Manchester United still has a good chance as well if you compare it to the other team. There are still 36 games to go and everything could have happen, There is no way to tell how the season will end and who the champion will be at this stage

@buwaytress - Thought Alisson was top class, does all the easy things so well. I don’t get worried when he has the ball at his feet. He’s so cool in possession, how god is VGD now that he’s settled in too, also thought Gomez was really good too.

I’m going to the game Saturday so hoping for another easy 3 points at Anfield.

It’s been a really good start to the season, Mane is on fire. I love the look of Keita too.

Exciting times my friend.

It is too early to put Liverpool as a serious contender to the title. I hope you have seen the 6-1 victory of City against Huddersfield and no matter Huddersfield being one of the last teams in the standings I noticed the play style of Man.City which was the best in the games of Premier League I have seen so far.

We have to see a few head to head games of Liverpool against the bigs like Chelsea, Man.Utd, Arsenal and City of the Premier League and then judge if Liverpool is a true contender to the title this season.

Exciting times my friend.
I used to be a Liverpool supporter during the Michael Owen / Gerrard (my favorite footballer) era, once Gerrard retired I kinda stopped following Pool...But this Liverpool under Klopp, with the likes of Salah, VVD, Keita, etc, is kinda awakening my inner Liverpool fanboy...been feeling that way since the Champions League final, even though I've been a RM fan since like forever.

This was kinda random LOL but yeah, exciting times indeed.

I love the look of Keita too.

This play by Keita was absolutely sublime: https://www.clippituser.tv/c/ypzabp

I agree, your team looks phenomenal this season. Salah took a few games to get going last season, and might be doing the same now, but Mane has hit the ground running, so to speak.

I think it's either you or City for the title, especially after Spurs making no signings and the same old tired Man Utd.
New season is going on with three quality teams doing very good job for title for me these three are hot favorite for this year title and Liverpool is in very good shape and can handle all situations very good all players are doing perfect job until any one have some injury which could be worst for them after watch just 2 matches I can say Liverpool is very serious contender for this year title with City and Chelsea behind them which could be very interesting.
not Only Keita had a good game  The defense is consistent this season with the brilliant Van Djik allowing Liverpool to win 13 of aireal balls from 20 9 came from Van Djik alone also Allison had an excellent start by maintaining a clean sheet so far and is the only goalkeeper who did not accept any goal in the Premier League making him a solid contendor for the golden Glove this season with Courtois Leaving Chelsea and Man United facing problems in Defense he is one of the two contendors to win it the other is Freind from national team Ederson.

^  Lol.  Then something has to be way waaay off.  Grin

Man City thrashed Huddersfield 6 - 1 (but you prolly already know that).  Let's see how Liverpool does vs Palace.  I hope to see more of the same.  It should be good to see City vs LFC again this season.  Smiley

Liverpool should win tonight. But I don't think Crystal Palace will just hand them the victory without a fight. I also think the match will likely be a high-scoring one too so I am going with a combo bet of BTTS & Liverpool to win @ 2.8 odds. 1 Palace goal will suffice and hopefully Liverpool will do their job as well Wink

Almost but no...  Too bad Townsend's shot hit the wood work.  And I expected more from Zaha.

Anyway, good thing I didn't bet on the +1.5 for Palace at 1.80.  Lol.  I almost did it.

Yeah buddy it didn't happen even though there were some great goal opportunities for Palace. I was trying to bump up the odds on Liverpool a little bit and I had to either take them with AH or trust Palace to score a goal in the match. I chose the latter unfortunately. I hope the Premier League stays competitive as it would be boring to be taking crazy Asian handicaps on heavy favorites all the time like in other leagues.

I’ve had two seperate bets tonight.

Firmino 1st goal scorer & 3-1 - (Both need to happen)

Other bet is - Mo Salah to score in the 1st 10 minutes

Pretty daring bets, I'd have loved Mo to score too, and he had quite a few chances for sure. A bit unlucky I think, almost had his trademark chip over the keeper, and should have had a couple more assists if not for Mane's finishing. He did inflict all the damage without scoring though. Winning the penalty, getting a man sent off and providing the assist to Mane's goal. He may not break a goal-scoring record this season but it's plain to see he's going to be instrumental.

Still, a solid win, even with the penalty. Got my bet wrapped up, somewhat makes my week less of a horror.

Liverpool seem to be the only one at the moment able to chase Manchester City but I'm not sure about how long they can last. Did you see that all the players were running so fast and hard and then they tired down towards the end? Not sure if they can keep doing that for 36 more games plus cup and champions league. They have a lot of backup now so maybe no problem but City have even more replacements!
Gegenpressing liverpool always takes so much energy and that makes some liverpool player gassed and tired but the result is good. 0-2 win for Liverpool, good job for VVD and Allison again. This 2 players is really good at defending liverpool defence.

It's okay. Yes, they ran out of steam last season but we have a bit more depth in midfield where the running's the hardest. With a little luck, we'll get fewer injuries. Being able to count on Lallana, Sturridge, Shaqiri, Fernandinho (is that how it's spelt?) and everyone else to step in when the others need a rest? That's what we didn't have last season. Just a real pity about Ox.

Gomez and VVD, amazing partnership that has yet to bloom.

Thoughts on Allison? He's shown confidence, his distribution's pretty good, and he can command his area. Only the 1 mistake when he allowed a corner after failing to spot Trent's last touch on a ball going out. Trent should have signalled for him to catch though.

1 game only, good old Liverpool.

Simple bet, Liverpool @1.92 with a -1.25 handicap: https://www.bitcoinrush.io/sportsbook/ShareBet?id=stTVCn0jFLyFu5180Dd3nnZHFIvSuSxMCQ5XZl7wno8%3D

Anybody thinking David Wagner and his men could hold Man City has to either be a hater, a Man United fan, or has something else going on in his head.  Lol.

I'm not a hater, not a United fan, so I must have something else going on in my head =p

Well I think Mourinho's days in Manchester United are numbered now. Did anyone watch the post-game press conference yesterday? I am really curious to know what his excuse has been this time. I am starting to wonder if United are going to be in top 5 this season with the way the team has been playing lol. It's been 2 rounds but still.

Yeah I did. He didn't give that many excuses actually, except right at the end where he said the Referee (I think) took his time and ended the game when United were just starting an attack. To be fair, it was almost 2 more minutes than the allocated minimum of 4, so he really couldn't have complained. De Gea held the ball for a while when he should have just punted it up to Lukaku and Fellaini.

Mou played it down to mistakes his team made. Big mistakes. I think he said mistakes more than 10 times.
Mourinho Persistance in the summer transfert to sign a defender is one of the reasons why the players perforfing so poorly in defense his actions made them lose their confidance in themselves we have seen how Lindelof perfprmed in WC he was very decent player for Sweeden while Bailey is considered one of the best defenders for Man United so pairing both of these players should not be a problem but at the end it's notmal to lose a premiere league game but the time of the loss is not good if the loss came after couple of games no one would blame anyone it's the game you win and you lose no one expect from you to win all the matches.

My luck has run out as I lost the last leg of my parlay bet as Liverpool and Crystal Palace didn't score over 2.5 goals. I really thought this would come in as Palace are pretty good at home and normally score but not this time. Then I thought Liverpool would score 3 goals after Wan-Bissaka got that red card in the 75th minute but still Liverpool couldn't score. Oh well I can't win them all.

Over goals should be a good pick for this match, because liverpool away match usually let the home team get a goal at least 1. I want to see the new liverpool keeper too, can he keep the clean sheet again. Man city 6-1, liverpool 5-0 please Cheesy
