With respect to altcoins, I think there's a slight significance but right now as bitcoin price stabilized at good point alts starts to move a little bit. Hopefully this will initiate a good progress and sleeping projects would technically be active just like the old days.

I'm not yet expecting the 'long' dump for this year. Likely it's about to happen next year but we really can't tell when exactly will happen as this market is full of surprises and gets to show rise and fall from unexpected moments. it may not be dumped this year maybe in 2022. there is a difference in the bullrun today than what it was in 2017. it was all just about ICO but now it looks like even governments want to join the fun. seeing as its just the old coins and defi tokens, i guess the bullrun is very selective as to which ones are to pump.

Theoretically, Using fibonacci scale model. The price can go down 50% of current price and going below that price will cause a long downtrend again, Same as we experience last 2018. Its impossible to determine the figure of the lowest possible price now because the downtrend is not confirm there it will just base on the price peak bitcoin will record on this current bullish market.
I don't care if another big dump comes, every big dump is always a buying opportunity, remember in March 2020 Ethereum was once 150$ and bitcoin was at 3500$, this is what people don't get, they scared away when they are supposed to accumulate and they FOMO when price are surging when they should be planing to sell
