Well one problem that Nero has right now is it cannot run on a different port. You would need a unique WAN IP address for every masternode. Since one masternode is so cheap you need a lot of different IP addresses to run more masternodes. Pretty expensive hobby that way

There seem to be lots of issues with the coin.... Not telling you not to mine, but be wary.

BTW I had issues moving mined coins, not locked ones! I haven't been able to move mining profits until I've bringed the mn down. Buggy shitcoin.

The people here with trouble running a masternode, have you ever ran a masternode before? Masternode coins get locked when you start a wallet that controls the masternode, you are not allowed to move those 1000 coins I believe. The config file prevents this, normal behaviour

After bringing the MN down, I still wasn't able to tx this shitcoins. Same error. I've been waiting 24+ hours, then I restarted with a clean appdata\nerocore again and imported the pk holding shitcoins. The 1000 NERO input of the MN appeared unlocked and I was able to transfer it. Then I made one more transaction including all the remaining money from other inputs (money reward) and they were transferred succesfully.

I learned my lesson.

Do you have my same issue?

I'm not writing this post to bring back my $50, I d've been glad to save myself to look bad for $50 (!!) but I'm just curious.. are this coins really lost? Can this shit happen in blockchain? What's this shitcoin a fork of? Dash? Pivx? Have these bugs been fixed in those bigger coins, or if one day I'll decide to go for a 1-10-25K$ MN I'm going to be subject to such risks? Please take a read to know more!

I've read most of the thread and I see it was an error going into this MN, but it was my first try and it was one of the cheapest I was able to buy in CB, around $50.
I already posted on their discord and found they already ran away with BTCs from the presale and first mining days, so I'd just love if someone of you guys can hint me what else can I try.

So I bought those 1000 shitcoins and did bring up my MN on a remote linux vps. A few times the rewards arrived and I was able to transfer em to CB from my windows wallet.

This morning at around 6 am I did a transaction to the CB address:

and it was refused with error:

After this, any other tx fails. There is no trace of such transaction in the block explorer: http://explorer.nero.team/address/ZTpiXWBZXBE18SP8jXzTyYQpQXVa5Mman3

In the wallet, it remains stuck this way, see the last -10.00 nero tx, it's marked as "offline".

unless I restore a wallet backup, or recreate a new wallet and import private keys.

After any of these actions, the failed tx disappears from wallet, but any further transaction I try will fail the same way, with the same error.

I even tried deleting the whole appdata\nerocore directory and did resync a new wallet then I imported the private keys, it was the cleanest restart I could think of, but still the same.

I've also been waiting for a couple more mining rewards to become available, and try to spend "newly received coins" by selecting advanced input options, but still the same.

while the wallet shows a good network health and 8 connections to the network.

The only thing I didn't tried yet is to bring the MN offline and see if it changes anything.

But as far as I can see, I'm now pretty sure that those shitcoins are stuck forever in this shitaddress of this shitchain.

I also forgot to mention that I already had another address in the same wallet, since the first time i created manually a second one. the second one is empty, and if I try to tx to myself to this other adddres, the transaction still fails the same way.
