The liberal of yesteryear is not the identitarian authoritarian that's dominating the news cycle today. The millions of those liberals are barely tolerated and kept in line by stories of the evil, racist republicans.
In case you haven't noticed, the basis of racism is the thing that is in every solid, stable family that has 2 or 3 kids. Just watch the kids fight over a toy at some times.
The family of naked bicyclists is a liberal family of racism against the conservative people who would never do such silliness. But when you look at this family a little closer, you find that these folks are ignited and excited about all different kinds of thing... things that can split them in a moment if they aren't focused on the same thing for a moment.
People who are liberal or conservative have switched places, politically, many times over the years, because they find politicians switching their platforms all the time. It's called divide and conquer. And the thing that is dividing and conquering is the idea that politics has some real power.
If people realized that when they are harmed, they should take it to common law court, things would turn into freedom from the stupid politicians. But people just don't understand this.
