I have sold about ~100k so far and currently have ~100k in the sell orders.

And to be absolutely clear, that is 100k sold IN SELL ORDERS.

I haven't dumped anything.

Well it's not me if you're thinking that.

I have only sold about ~100k so far and currently have ~100k in the sell orders.
It would be stupid for me suppress prices against my own orders.

I'm mining mostly out of pocket trying to hold difficulty up high enough to block Nicehash dumping but it gets expensive. Someone keeps racing me for large amounts of quick hashes and burning me out of budget.

If there is any group out there who wants to take this coin seriously and help on the market side, I will raise and maintain 1 and 2GHS for as long as I possibly can.

I'm going to start holding 1 GHS at all times from here on out. Understand that this is not cheap to do, costing me between $30 - $100 a day.

DONT RACE WITH ME.

If you ask me to or if I see net hashes going over 2G then I will back off. I want to back off. Please ask me to if you want in. I don't want to race or compete with you. I want to stabilize this coin.

1GHS makes it easier to control the dumping with monitoring. 1.5 makes miner dumping just stupid right now at rental prices. If someone is doing it maliciously, then they will run out of steam quickly and have to pay a lot to keep doing it. At some point, I should hopefully have made enough back from coin sales to compete with another asshole at higher difficulties if we can get a heartbeat back into this coin.

Anyone wanting to invest into this coin in a productive way should start cloud-mining it with rentals. No, it's not as lucrative as private hardware but it's the only way to truly secure the coin and its market as long rentals exists.

Anything under 1 GHS is a problem for this coin. I wish more hardware would get on it. 1 -2 GHZ collectively in dedicated hardware could support this coin enough to get it going nicely.

Anyone bringing hardware to this coin, please PM me. I want to work with you to help make sure you get a fair price.

Anyone bringing BTC to the market, I'm willing to tear down 100k coins of orders to get out of your way as well as stabilize mining if you think you can stabilize the market after it is pumped.

I'm running 500 MHs right now ramping until 1 is stable net-wide. Once there, it will stay. Anyone wanting back in under 1 please let me know.

So, the question is who and why is someone(s) dumping coins with almost zero interest in making profit.

Trump Coin Give Away

This week I willl start posting a Trump Coin give away on Twitter now that we have an easy to use online wallet.
I was thinking 2000 coins:?

1. To qualify they have to tweet and retweet it on the Trump Twitter page they received 2000 free trumps (with their online wallet address attached)

Is that amount ok do you think? I dont think it will work if the offer is to stingy. If I got 20 take ups
thats only 40k coins and 20 new people introduced to Crypto.

What do you guys think?

Two-thousand TRUMPs is way too high.  If you start giving away that many coins, you will run out in no time.  Let's clarify something first.  Nobody who is going to want the TRUMPs is going to be motivated by the financial aspect.  People will want to use TRUMPCOIN, because they like Donald and want to show their solidarity behind him.  Two-thousand TRUMPs are only worth ~$2.50 USD.  If I was running the giveaway, I'd give everybody interested FIVE TRUMPS.  That gives them enough to give to a friend or two and keep a couple for themselves.  If they want more TRUMPs, they can spend a couple of bucks and buy thousands more.  There are literally millions of TRUMP supporters.  Don't forget that.
I agree 2000 is way too much maybe do 10-40

I also agree that 2000 is a bit over the top.

It's a good idea but you don't want to send a message that they aren't worth much.

10 is a good number, but I think winning/earning 100 of anything gives a warmer, fuzzier feeling to most people. 100 would allow you a 4000 trump budget that can afford to reach out to 40 people, which seems like a really good start to me.

Bring the budget down to a more conservative level (like under 5000 trumps) and I'll donate the entire fund for it.

EDIT: Corrected pre-coffee simple math.

I agree. 5-10 coins is to stingy. Ill do a 100 coin offer and see how that goes. Your offer to pony up is greatly appreciated but this really has to come from the
Trump Fund, its what its there for. I can always think of something else for you to dontate to  Wink

Agreed. And my offer was to donate these campaign expenses to the Trump Fund to be used from there.

5k trumps in transit now.

As I stated any changes to the coin specs wont happen until the end of the month and even then its just a review.

I know, but I'm saying that this shouldn't be put off til then.  The end of the month is going to put us around block 28,000, which is only 11 days away from block 36,000.  Cutting it kinda close to come to a consensus on the specs and get the exchanges, pools, and all users switched over to the new client and ready for the fork.  The fork doesn't have to be at block 36,000, but it's the most logical time to do it if the reward reduction is not going to be drastic and sudden.

I don't remember anyone outright saying "NO" to the idea of reducing rewards, just some people like myself thought the reduction should be more gradual and/or brought about by implementing POS.  I'm not seeing what is to be gained by waiting til the end of the month.  It doesn't matter when the fork is, just that we nail down the specs in stone and announce when it will be as far ahead of time as possible so miners, investors, and traders can make decisions accordingly.

No one knows when the rewards are supposed to halve as the coin stands now.  To be honest, if I just found out about this coin today and was reading through the thread, I would chose not to buy or mine any because the emission rate and total coin supply are question marks.  Making an informed decision is impossible when these things are still up in the air.

And again. I ask you how many coins you have mined.
