Seems like Google and apple are attacking the crypto scene quite a bit right now. With Google and metamask and censorship of some crypto vids in yt, and now Apple with the issue with dApps. Its a wonder why their actions are as such since the crypto scene offers quite a bit of promise after all. Them doing this only seems like they'd rather do their own than jump to the bandwagon of crypto.

If you read the same statement, the company may ask Apple to give them some permissions in one way or another.

If Apple customers want to be able to use Dapps, we may need to make this request know to Apple in some way. This is an important area of innovation in finance, and many developers and early adopters of this technology have millions of dollars worth of crypto tied up in these financial applications, which they will no longer be able to use on Apple mobile devices if this app store policy continues.
Well, in the end, Coinbase would still remove it. They would just appeal to Apple with their request, and hope that they accede to the said request, but since the pressure did indeed come from Apple, I doubt such a thing would happen though.

They really don't have any choice but to comply or else their app in the Apple App store will be removed due to from non-compliance. Unlike Android devices where they can still download apk files outside from the play store iPhones and maybe iPads and Ipods don't have that kind of choice not unless they jailbreak their device which will also void their warranty for the product. With this at risk they know they will lose millions of users using Apple products if they don't follow what they have.

Also, the problem is related to Dapps, not Blockchain apps as a whole.

The same applies to the ERROR from YouTube and other things.

I don't request loans~
Well, even if they remove it now and join later, being late would still enable them to catch up to the early birds. They aren't the Apple company for nothing after all, and compared with Nokia and others that you have said? Apple could be said to be way quite above them, which makes sense seeing the development of Apple and the others in the past few years. Plus, with that all said, Apple is still one of the leading digital companies out there, so sooner or later, they would learn the probable importance of crypto and blockchain, and implementing them wouldn't be a problem at all. Heck, some may even switch over to them with how well known and famous their companies are

Popular cryptocurrency exchange and brokerage service Coinbase may soon remove support for decentralized applications for its Apple users. The firm cited the App Store policy as the reasoning behind the decision.

According to a post on Reddit, Coinbase Wallet users were recently greeted with a message about the potential change. In response to the post, Coinbase’s CEO Brian Armstrong commented that it looks like Apple is attempting to eliminate decentralized applications from its App Store.

I just know how it feels, especially on what is happening recently to Coinbase....

Looks like Apple isn't ready yet to embrace decentralization, blockchain and cryptocurrency as Coinbase was forced to remove it's app. I am pretty sure that if Apple doesn't embrace decentralization in open arms, they would be left behind like Nokia, Motorola and Blackberry later on.

I'm just pretty sure that Steve Jobs from heaven won't approve Apple's recent decision to remove decentralized apps like Coinbase. They would regret later on like Wikipedia did years ago by removing Bitcoin from their pages. In the end, they embraced it and started to accept Bitcoin donations.

One day, Apple would realize that they need to shift into decentralization later on if they want to keep up with the trend. Not just fancy phones.
