Crypto is not worthy its own. It is evaluated with USD like other worthy assets. If the paper money itself is even being traded, why should not crypto be traded? Besides, if there was an area to use crypto without the value of USD, maybe...

I understand what Op is trying to point at. I also consider and research on the future of a coin before I put an order. Some coins are cheap and shit. Some cheap coins that don't have good technology, will be dumped at the long term.
