The price is most likely to drop to $550 in the coming week and hence wait till it drops further as then it may again increase. It happened last month too and I did not panic to sell my coins. Don't take these price fluctuations too seriously and if you are going in a loss never sell your coins as bitcoin prices are never stable.

I think you should not have to sell your coins and have to wait a little more if you need your money for anything then you can sell your coins but in that you will lose a large amount of money.

I just made a post about, it's time to hedge  Smiley

We suggest to hedge position (expecially if you are in profit yet).

Follow our sheme:

A) We suppose you have 100 BTC (bot work the same with 100.000 satoshi too  Smiley )
B) You would preserve FIAT value (so 60 k $)

What you need to do:

1) Sell 20 BTC (20% of your asset) and hold 80 BTC
2) Go short on leverage 5x using these 20 BTC
3) Take Profit on leverage position @ 500$ & Put Stop loss on Holding BTC @500 $ too
4) Stop Loss on Leverage position @660$

This is a simply Hedge position that preserve your BTC value at a cost of about 3 % (spread +  net loss)

But there are lot of hedge strategies: let us work for you, take a look on www.bitib.eu or PM me

Sell your bitcoins guys if you don't want to have fun with the current situation of bitcoins. I still believe that this is not a real crisis and the price will be back up to normal, it has been falling but not falling fast so it means in a few days the price will be back up again, just be patient and don't sell yet.

Maybe it is falling because many user switch to ether because of successful hard fork. Ether manage very well their situation. Its not advisable to sell your coins now because btc price will pump soon. Just wait for ether hard fork effect. And everything back to normal
Soon ether will us Prove of stake confirmation method,  and you can stake you ether to confirm translation,  and it is like investment because you can take it out of the vault anytime.  You earn by confirming translation.  Maybe that's why people are trying to get ether.

The price of bitcoin is falling now. But there might not be too much worry. That is just due to the delay of block size increase.
well i guess i the same, so many people expecting the block size to be increased, blockchain increase promised will occur in july but nothing happened at all, even both have its advantage (and i'm not that much into this problem) this could potentially giving an affect to bitcoin
Bitcoin is now at 600USD Sad

My idea was to sell the coins now which I bought at lower price before price fall back to my buy price. This way I will make profit because I would still be selling at high price.I want your opinion if it would be wise to sell or should I wait for another pump.
I will definitely buy if price reach $400 and I will again have same amount of coin that I now own

In the last two days bitcoin prices are falling. Should I sell my coins or should I wait. Will the falling trend continues and we will be again back to $450 or something?
My advice better to wait more days or weeks an monitored the fluctuate of the price if the price is continues to decrease or stable..
So that you can decide to buy bitcoin with the low price..
The price for now is low from past 8 hours and looks like the price of bitcoin will continue to decrease soon.. or if we are lucky the price will increase fast if someone attracted for the price right now..

However, I am curious, do we have any negative news which explain that price reduction?

3 weeks of sideway prices & small volumes is bad enough news in a "semi-highly volatile" market if you catch my drift!
this test of new support's been brewing for quite some time now.

op imo this is no time to sell; i'd be buying as much as i can if i had any leftover fiat; $600 is bargain price at this point!
once the $580~600 support is established a rise to $700~820 is inevitable.

edit: sorry for the uninformed comment  Lips sealed https://bitfinex.statuspage.io

Price dropped a little, no big deal. After long period of stability it seems that people forgot that name of the game here is volatility.
With price decline more people will try to buy bitcoin lower and price will rise again., It is standard market behavior.

However, I am curious, do we have any negative news which explain that price reduction?

Yap, it's going down, after the pump there's always a dump.

There was no good reason for the price to be so high, it will probably stabilize in the 500s.

There has been no real buy support since the block halving has taken place. People that were expecting the price to sky rocket are now seeing their confidence in the price sink deeper every day. That's what they get for insanely high predictions that don't make sense. At least, this volatility is a welcome thing for traders. That's the good thing.

Just as I kept on saying. BTC will go down below $600 and it will stay there for a while. No one is willing to buy it at high prices so it needs to go down and be accumulated for a while. If you are a buyer then this will be good news for you.

What is high? What is low? Compared to what?
People are accumulating since a while if you haven't recongnized.
With every dump or pump emotions kick in as well. Therefore markets over react.Smart traders take advantage of that. That's all you need to know.

I expect the price to stabalize again between 550 and 600 before returning to an uptrend again. Price has remained remarkably satble above 600 before and this was just inevitable to happen.

In addition, ETC has taken all the attention of traders, a lot of btc has been pulled from orders to be put up there as well.

in my experience, i don't sell my bitcoin, instead, i wait for it. For me i should rather earn more of bitcoins and when the time comes that the prices will rice, i have bigger chance and more bitcoins to convert. that's practical than sell it at a lower price. it is better to wait until it became higher and who knows maybe next month, it became higher than the price now.

Bitcoin trading is not for the faint hearted. It's not comparable to real life stocks trading where we have a source and predicts if price will go down or not. Look at the halving news where everyone is expecting a big increase or a drop but what happened is exactly nothing. In this case where Bitcoin rate is dropping since July 31 from $657 down to $629 yesterday, It's just a $28 compared to teh previous downward movement of Bitcoin which is bigger.
