Willing to test on older cards (57xx, 58xx, 59xx) if a version is ready.

Definitely interested to participate on the test.
I am an oldfart XPM fan - have been cpu-mining XPM since the very beginning Wink

Got two Intel based Win7 rigs, 1x Sapphire 7970 Vapor-X and 2x Sapphire 280x Toxic

I'll give it a try on windows if you're looking for testers, 4x 7950 and 2 x R9 280x.

Time to cancel all dedicated mining servers.. Should not be hard for the OP to modify the primecoin GPU for RIC mining..

Well, if you have interest in such tests - I can test run with variuos older cards (5850-6870-6970) and low class GCN (r7-240). CPU platforms - from core2 to haswell i7

Thank you, we'll definitely need to test our miner on other cards when we get to this point.

But first we need to get our software checked/verified by trusted members of the community.

It looks only GCN cards are supported, at least in near future. Are older cards unable at all to run the GPU client, or you think performance will be too low?

Frankly speaking, we haven't tested the miner on anything below 280x.
The miner has more than 10 kernels and any of them can be a bootleneck on a different GPU.
However, I wouldn't be much surprised if has an acceptable performance on pre-GCN cards w/o much optimization.

Actualy, only 280x/7970 are supported ATM. We gave 290 a try, but without much tuning it was running at 0.9x speead of a 280x.
Our nearest plans include adding support for 290/290x and 270x.

Hey, I would like to test the miner. I have around 45 cards - 7870s, 7950s, 270s and 280x's.

I want to give it a try.
I'll test the miner on my 270x,280x,7950,7970 card on win7 x64.

CAT.EX Exchange
I can try with an nVidia C2075 on win8 64bit

edit: Oh well I see it's AMD only. Good luck with the GPU miner. Time to drive away the botnet   Cheesy

I can test this on my 280x and 290 equipped farm if you want.

Running linux atm, but can test on different hardware running windows too.

OK, count me in.
I get about 40 pieces of 280x.

Version 4.0 is available.

The mining speed is now  9.1 CPD on a 280x (clock: 1040/1500).
We reduced our dev.fee to 2%.

The new version supports switching to a secondary pool if something is wrong with the main one.
Currently we support 2 pools: hash.camp and ypool.net
BTW, hash.camp is a 0% pool ATM.

Command lines for the two-pool config:
hash.camp as a main pool and ypool.net as a backup:
primegpu-pool.exe -o2 ypool.net -u2 YPOOL_USERNAME -p x -o xpm.hash.camp -u XPM_ADDRESS

ypool.net as a main pool and hash.camp as a backup:
primegpu-pool.exe -o ypool.net -u YPOOL_USERNAME -p x -o2 xpm.hash.camp -u2 XPM_ADDRESS

Links:
Dev.fee version: http://primegpu.com/files/primegpu-pool.zip
Paid version: http://primegpu.com/files/primegpu-pool-paid.zip

Command-line options:
-d - selects GPUs to mine on (e.g. -d 13 will mine on GPUs #1 and #3)

Note:
- Catalyst 14.3+ is required
