Campaign will be launching within a week for hero/senior/legendary members. It will then be opened for full/member/jr shortly after.

We have a new payment system that will pay per post and depending on what forum section (Posting in some forum sections will get you more per post than others). The whole process will be fully automated and payments will be made weekly. We will be able to track users characters per post and easily ban spammers from the campaign. Hilariousandco (Bitcointalk mod) will be monitoring all participants and will be ensuring the quality of the forum is not lowered by participants.

We're setting a 50 BTC/month budget on this campaign so we are looking for a lot of people to sign up.
Okay.
No offence, but whenever stunna says that something will happen in a week, he takes months to complete the task.
Primedice should focus more on fixing the site's lag, improving support. More money should be spent on fixing the site rather than advertising the site that takes lifetime to roll a number.

Why r u against one of the most reputable sig campaign ? If I can remember correctly, till date I have taken part in 4 sig campaigns...

1. UpDown.bt
2. PrimeDice
3. BTC Backers
4. CoinPiler

Except for PD, everyone cheated at first or second payout. PD was the only one who paid out consistently.
I never said that I am against pd's signature campaign. The fact is that I love primedice and I love stunna. Its just that sometimes these guys take too much time to finish their job. They should be more punctual.

And updown.bt did not cheat in first and the second payouts.

This is very good news, hope the payment have the highest rate than others Cheesy

That is possible and could be an issue. Personally I'm not sure if it's a good idea offering premium rates for certain sections but maybe have lower rates for off-topic and games and rounds etc or maybe not even count posts in them at all. I only know about as much as you guys really so I'm interested to see how it will work and the pay schemes etc.

I agree with lower rates for off-topic and games and rounds section, than not were given the slightest Tongue

I hope the administration won't have anything against the biggest pay per post campaign coming back. I'd like to join this Smiley

The current biggest campaign is already up (matching PD's old rates)

Primedice chose a Bitcointalk moderator as the campaign manager and the campaign will benefit the forum if spam is efficiently fought.

Only off-topic should be penalized. Nothing increased.

Yeah , maybe you're right ... but at the end with a signature campaign you are pay the post but the op only "gain" (for first) the impression and then the click ( if the click will happen).

At the end every impression count....

Primedice prefers having impressions on certain sections of forum like the gambling section.

Only off-topic should be penalized. Nothing increased.

Agreed.

Lets say they put a pay per post of 0.0015 (more than last time) on the bitcoin protocol section, suddenly everyone will post stuff that doesn't make sense there.

Yes it will be a problem but it may be solved by marking their messages as spam. hilariousandco can give them a warning then remove them from the campaign at the second or third strike.

Which is why campaigns should select individuals as they apply (only the best posters are accepted to ensure their posting habits remain the same - that of quality)

The selection will never be perfect in a campaign with 100's of members and 50 BTC budget.

Also sometimes people change their posting habits after join a campaign, and accounts might change ownership

Which is why is why it makes sense to only lower pay in off topic or same sort of topic. Some people are here to post about trading, others development some news stories. This is all equal so you should not try to prefer one over another

It will be pay per post, but looking like posting in some sub forums will pay higher than others and vice versa.

Wont everyone just post in the places where the most money is? i guess it depends on price gap.  Fine with me though i usually post in most of the forums signature campaigns like i think.

Some sections are "harder" to post in successfully than other.  That iis, obviously anyone can post practially anything in off-topic.  Consider, though, that in order to post in the technical support section, you'll actually have to know something about the technical matter being discussed.  If people are discussing a change to the bitcoin protocol you'll need to know something about the protocol in order to successfully add to the conversation.

I wouldn't want a bunch of people trying to go into D@T just to talk on the technics
If they can code then it should go to GIT
Otherwise it might get too messy in that area.

I've used advertising for many years, and am familiar with some basic logic. Put it this way, would you rather advertise your house to a home owning forum, or a video game forum. Targeted advertising is already used everywhere, and Facebook has the most intricate and precise method used today.

But I don't think 'targeted' advertising will work very well here. We're all bitcoin fans and interested in making more coins so people could click on a signature from a post in any subforum so I don't think they'll be much of a difference between hits in say Bitcoin Discussion than Technical or even Off-topic. I don't even think posting in the Gambling sub would work as you imagine as people who are there are already likely to know about PD, so it'll be interesting to see what subs Stunna considers more attractive. I think the benefit was just having the forum previously blanketed with ads in every section. You could still not pay or pay little for off-topic and people would still make posts there just not as many or just spam rubbish. I still think keeping an eye on people will just be the best solution to fighting spam.

Yes, but that's where the potential problem is. If that sub is a 'premium' one you'll probably get people not knowing what they're talking about giving bad advice on stuff they know little to nothing about.

Why PD need to pay lower rate for off-topic and games & round section ?
Better pay nothing.

I'm just curious how will be payment scheme be made ...
But I feel something different than others Cool

I guess, its also because posts in the off topic section are read by people on bitcointalk, who actually have bitcoin. So its a good advertising, and for a low amount.
