Not sure, withdrawals still appear to be down here too.

I'm guessing I was one of the last to get my withdrawal to go through about 10 hours ago (which was speedy as ever) before they went down.  Admins are likely sleeping for a couple more hours yet.

What about this one?

Busted my entire balance (~1.25 BTC) last night.  Did two pre-rolls this morning to see how much longer the red streak would have gone if I hadn't busted.  Had an intuition after rolling a 95.28, so I bought and deposited some BTC for a quick recovery bet.  What followed....

I usually look for a >90 and go for it with a <10 large bet (or vice versa).  A lot more fun that way.  Smiley

Ah, I see Cheesy Glad you've won again tonight Smiley

I think I'll still show up for a weekly 0.1 5-20x YOLO on Fridays but I will no longer be hanging out in the chat room or betting regularly.

So it's Friday, and I'm keeping my word.  I was pretty nervous doing this one and don't like showing up on high rollers.  Shocked

Congratulations Smiley

Interesting, you seemed to have figured out some pattern when you were prerolling.

You can't find a pattern on this rolls.. your mind is tricking you, winning 8 times in a row wont make it more likely to loose on the 9th since with bayes theorem, probability wont change and will be the same chances of winning and loosing than if you were just playing for the first time. Applying this, you can conclude that for example (as Dooglus posted before) Winning 5 times in a row with chances of winning of 0.2 is (0.2^5) but when you are actually playing, the chances of winning next time is 0.2, there's no such memory thing that actually remembers that the last chance you won or lost so that you can play safely and win.

I really do enjoy looking for patterns in the roll numbers!  Interestingly enough, a similar pattern happened less than 10 rolls after that big win.  Should have gone for it again!

Patterns doesn't exist. The bets are all random numbers.

Math can give u some estimate but it doesn't mean much in real life. As proven by Hufflepuff . He wagered 60k btc and is in profit of 2000 when he should be in about -600 .

For that stuff i don't rely on math to much.

What Hufflepuff did was something like a 2% chance. Unlikely, but not unreasonable. He had a 1 in 50 chance of doing what he did.

The screenshot that was posted was something like a 1 in a quadrillion chance. Unreasonably unlikely.

We can say that it's plausible that Hufflepuff wasn't cheating, and that it's incredibly likely that the screenshot of 9 losing 98% bets in a row was fake.

A 1 in 50 shot is many orders of magnitude more likely to happen than 1 in 2 quadrillion.

We rely on math and probability for Bitcoin itself. There's a small but non-zero chance that I can guess the PD cold storage private key, but math tells us that's very unlikely, and so we trust that it won't happen.

One thing I've always thought when these high rollers play, regardless of what site they do it on, is that the "luck" they have can be equaled by somebody else having the same luck but with a few extra zero's tailing the amounts.  Example being Hufflepuff wagering 60,000 BTC and winning 2,000 BTC.  In a similar scenario, which is apparently not as exciting, somebody wagering 6 BTC and profiting 0.6 BTC with 0.0012 bets at 3x.

I can't be too far off in guessing that stuff like this happens plenty and we just don't recognize it because of the lower amounts?  Trying to decipher a high rollers winnings is as relevant as deciphering anybody elses.

What is the bet limit? Is there a limit per day, or per minute?
The max payout per bet is 20 BTC. There is no daily or limit per minute.

Apparently there is some kind of a limit:

@Stunna: It looks like you limited the amount of bets per account.

This was due to many people abusing the API and spamming bets.

I guess it's per second rather than per minute or per day. I'm sure it would be useful for bot authors to know what the limit actually is, so they can stay within it.

according to my bot, it's around 1 bet per second. but since you will get a 429 instantly when you are below that threshold, the bot will just fire another request. however, I don't really care how it's implemented, but if it was my server, I would want to get rid of all those extra requests ^^
