Will Bitcoin Rise Again to $60,000?
An open thank you letter to Stunna and Primedice.

My name is Montalslog.

FIRSTLY, to anyone who disbelieves this story, it was witnessed live by many regulars, and you are free to check the stats of account 1326474.

I am a stay at home dad of two children, with a bedridden wife who suffers from some major health issues.

I frequent the PD site for the good company and to play with the free faucet money.

Recently, I lent my mother-in-law ~$700 to get an emergency car repair, and she failed to repay me by the 1st of the month.

As I am writing this, it is the 12th of May. I hold in my hand an eviction notice stating I need to come up with the difference by midnight tonight.

I had no real recourse, having been unsuccessful selling my household items, and having no family who would assist me.

However, I have always provided for my family regardless of the circumstances.

Last night, I could not sleep. I turned to PD to chat with the regulars, my main form of social interaction.

I decided that I had one shot, to take a chance and play the site with real motivation, to get enough money to keep a roof over my family's head.

I had no BTC to start with, and used the free faucet funds to start a bankroll.

I started with 250 satoshis, knowing I could not give up, no matter how ridiculous the odds.

As of now, ~10AM PDT, I have turned that free faucet money into over 3btc, in a 10+ hour betting session.

I can pay my rent, and even have some left over for other expenses.

Somehow, starting with fractions of a penny and the knowledge that losing was not an option, I bailed my family out of our predicament.

I am literally crying with joy.

So this is a thank you to Stunna and the Primedice crew, because without this site, I would be facing eviction tonight, and have failed as a provider.

Sincerely,

--Montalslog, from Portland, OR

Awesome story, wish you could've recorded your run from faucet to 3 btc, that's insane! The highest I ever got to was from 1000sat to 0.017 before I lost it all. Smiley

site is down for me Huh  500 - Internal Server Error
anyone have the same problem?

It seems to go down from time to time and occasionally but it usually pops back up quickly enough. Dont just keep refreshing the page or that might make it worse. Just wait a bit then go back and check.

Montal, you were a great one today. I have to give it to you. True belief, effort, patience and, of course, some luck.
Again I wish you the best, not with the dice of course. I don't need to tell you what to do, but hope you keep away from buying in, considering that the house is boss and the circumstances deserve a happy story. Keep it happy!

I hope to have the pleasure to see you again in chats soon though.
Honest congratulations!

Now, on a different note, since I'm posting in this thread for the first time, I might as well ask right now.
Does anybody know what happened in PD yesterday or two days ago?
Some users claimed their accounts were hacked by a link to a pastebin or something. Actually Montal was one of them if I call recall correctly.
Another one was Anony I believe. It looked like someone was posting sensitive info about them in chat, under their own usernames.
Besides from that, at the same time, there was an insane amount of 2x low bets rolling green. 20, 30 straight or so. Some users were commenting in chat that it was the same userid changing usernames. I think there was evidence of that at the time.
Someone even suggested that the secret key for the day was hacked. I highly doubt that is possible, but can someone enlighten me of what was going on?
I myself dropped some BTC on PD the last days and a little bit of clarification of this possible exploit would be great.

Cheers.

Keep it dense, yeah?
Jeez is it just me or are new dice sites popping up left and right?  YOu have to go with a reputable one as far as I'm concerned.  I mean one that has been in business for at least several months if not years.  So many scams around BTC...

Everybody wants their slice of the Bitcoin pie and to become a Bitcoin millionaire, but I agree, if you're not going to offer anything new or exciting why bother, and more importantly why would players bother taking the risk on a new site when there's better and more reputable ones around?

Exactly. What's more is that if a new dice game comes along with a pretty unique feature, then more established games can simply make the change accordingly. Dice game market in BTC is pretty saturated, there are some other neat ideas out there though.

Happy hour just began, enjoy!

10k satoshi/minute from faucet claims.

D'oh, missed this. Maybe next time! I don't seem to have much luck with the timing of these happy hours Tongue
