This users issue was fixed. His TX was not put into the mem pool due to an error with our fee calculation. It has been resolved and he was given a 1.5 BTC bonus for the inconvenience.
That is one hell of a bonus for an issue faced by an user ,twenty thousand dollars for the inconvenience caused for delaying his payment Shocked i know he is your legit whale who donated a huge number of coins,it is really great to see the team respecting old whales and compensating for the delay which i have seen in the past when the price was well below thousand, but this is a new experience. Grin

He was also permanently banned from the site after creating a scam accusation about the issue. The bonus is generous, but I doubt he is happy about the strings attached to it, since not many sites support the limits PD does.

That's incorrect, this user was not banned or restricted in any way. There are very few "banned" users (hufflepuff). The user was happy with the outcome in the end, but we made changes to ensure our big transactions make it into the mempool.

Your TX got confirmed. The mem pool was full and did not pick it up. This isn't our fault completely, it was a massive spike we didn't see coming. We should have cashouts that size manual now days with price of Bitcoin since we didn't expect the TX to use so many inputs. Rather we had our fee's too low due to the max we attach set. Since this we have completely recoded how we go about fee's & Bitcoind.

You have had your money sent + a $40,000 bonus for the 72h delay you had.

Due to this scam accusation I will be banning you from the site after the bonus we've given you has been cashed out.

Have a good one.

I think it's pretty clear from Edward's post that the user was banned, unless I'm missing something?

Basically I think what bitcointalk is becoming is going to be more like eBay with their feedback situation.

When a user creates a scam accusation against a certain site, it gives alot of bad reputation for its image.

This is very similiar if some buyer on eBay buys something from you, for no reason what-so-ever gives you negative feedback. That negative feedback hurts your account and with too many of them might lead to being suspended or banned. So many eBay sellers just ban certain buyers to avoid this from happening again.

Should he have made a scam accusation? Probably not, PrimeDice is extremely trustworthy in my opinion. Does he have the right to? Yes, if it was any other site withholding $150k for almost a week, no one would have a problem with it. Personally, I think it sets a bad precedent to ban users for speaking out publicly on issues like this.

This situation is slightly different.

Honestly I think the reason why it took so long is because he doesn't speak English and could only communicate with Google translate and described his situation incorrectly, and hence Primedice staff was looking in the wrong area.

Later on they discovered the mistake and paid him with a bonus.

Yes he did have a right to do so. But so do the thousands of eBay buyers who buy $1 items which break and they leave bad feedback which can hurt the eBay stores reputation. Instead they should just contact the company directly and they would fix the issue. The issue here was a language problem.

in 2015 PD lost about 1 million dollars in bitkoyanah because of the hacker,
who took advantage of the vulnerability in the random number generator. I think any casino has the right to check big winnings.

Stunna made it clear that he is not banned, they only ban users who try to exploit the system,be in the form of faucet farming without any deposits or the famed hufflepuff who knew the seed before rolling, prime dice made the delay and they compensated with a big bonus and it is nothing new ,i have seen them compensating with big bonuses for the delays caused ,i do not think any other site would give away a big compensation for the delays caused.

Primedice, a person in this forum said that your business is one of the donors to the development of the Lightning Network. If that is correct, then I assume you already run Segwit enabled wallets.

I want to get some feedback on how much lesser you pay in fees of every transaction you make.
I think PD still doesn't run/use segwit wallet , they probably will enable segwit wallet when they launch the new version of PD, along with altcoin support.

We'll be segwitted soon via core! There's about to be a lot more segwit support.

I don't understand what are you trying to say. Did you win 8.8 BTC on PD? Can you prove it by showing some screenshots? And what does the picture you are showing mean? Is it an unconfirmed transaction? What "blockchain memo error " are you talking about?

I think if you did win 8.8 BTC on PD you'll have your money soon because PrimeDice doesn't scam people, there were many bigger withdrawals which were successfully processed.

I've been following his posts from pretty much the beginning of last year.

I don't think he understands English at all, all his posts seem to be google translated.

ITs very difficult to understand what he is trying to say, and he probably has the same issues understanding our replies. He should hire someone who can translate everything properly.

Thanks for the explanation! I think you are right about him because he was online after I posted but he never responded to my post.

Anyway, I don't think he's telling the truth about having 8.8 BTC on his PD account because he doesn't provide any evidences. I had been playing a lot on PD some time ago and I'd known many players there because I was active in the chat and I've never heard about any similar issues from reputable players, only players with brand new accounts say something like that from time to time.
Well, he's a whale! just look at his profile(https://www.pdstats.co/u/thanhbathien). he is currently down 123 BTC(it's a lot of money) and has wagered over 6000 BTC.
his problem is solved now, also has received generous bonus of 1.5 BTC from PD.

That a quite a huge amount at a current market price. He opened this account just one year back and he lost 123 BTC price BTC prices are so high then he should have accumulated all these bitcoin at a very cheap price. Anyway, whatever he lost is sufficient for someone settle down in his life in some countries.

Yikes looks like he is down another 1.5 BTC since his total loss is -124.5 BTC.

When I looked at his stats I assumed that he lost most of his BTC back when BTC was trading at around $1000 or so.

But it currently looks like he lost at least $125,000 and maybe up to $2,500,000 or so.

So I guess the bonus is justified.

To be honest receiving this amount from PD just from delaying is really big amount to pay. I admit it that PD is really generous but isn't this is too much just because blockchain have a delay on paying him? But at least everything is solved here and it seems that he is good with that 1.5 btc as compensation

This guy wagered this amount on his account there? Shocked
Then no wonder that they respect him when he said he did not get his payment processed properly and delayed for a very long time.
Even a day for this large enough amount would make me stay up night after night until it was paid out to me.
I don't blame him one bit.
Giving him this amount in damages is a fair amount to pay him for any doubt in the site in which he has spent but a dribble of this amount on there. Undecided

Why you doubt something that is confirmed by the admin of PD? Read at the latest post by Aengus, he confirms that it is a legit claim and the issue is fixed already with a 1.5btc bonus. Indeed his account has red tag but it does not mean that he is not reputable players. At least look at his PD account's stats first, he is real player with huge amount of btc wagered.
Dont underestimate member just by his account trust, we should look at the reality. But good to see that it is resolved already and PD is so generous to give 1.5btc bonus. (if the amount is not a typo).
