I miss dooglus
i saw thread title and it says creators of dicing. is that true?

me and dooglus were talking the other day about old dice sites still running

i think just dice was the first provably fair dice site.

It's debatable what can be considered "dicing". Some could argue Satoshidice was first because they had a instant lottery style game where you can bet on different outcomes by sending to different addresses. In my opinion dicing is about dynamic odds and an instant percentile dice roll (0-100) which I first saw on PD, this became the standard. JD was first I saw that made use of strong fairness which also became standard, they also introduced rolling Hi or Lo, crowd-investing etc.

Obviously dice websites have borrowed ideas heavily from one another but I consider PD, JD SD to have led the early initial charge and laid down the foundation for what became a massive game in both the crypto world and CSGO. So as far as your question goes about being considered "creators of dicing" I think it's a fair statement to make. I believe PD is the longest running Bitcoin dice site (correct me if I'm wrong).

Happy new year by the way!

happy new year to you too. yeah iv been around crypto gambling 5 years now and have to say i only trust dooglus and you in this industry .

I agree with the part about adding more alts. I think at least LTC should be added. I don't know how the developers feel about BCash.

It would be pretty awesome if they add the major alt coins in the market, having more options would be great, listing the top 5 alt coins as an option would be great and adding dogecoin will be a fun addition as everyone will have a good time rolling with it,adding a low value coin along with the top coins will be a good one in my opinion.

An on-site exchange will also be good feature on next version of PD, of course only the currencies/alts that would be accepted at PD.

0 confirmation deposits should be live with new confidence settings coming back online in the next week.
With the current delays in transaction delays, making zero confirmation deposit would be a great move as we are waiting for hours to get one confirmation even with higher transaction fees, but what is the standard used in new confidence settings, can you elaborate that, only users who are active for more time gets this benefit or everyone, when can we expect the alt coin addition ,any time frame regarding that.
Found an answer/reply on stake thread.

We'll be using Blockcypher's confidence level to determine which deposits warrant 0 confirmations. We'll start extra conservative whilst keeping a close eye on potential abusers. Users with specific criteria will have lower confidence on transactions needed for instant deposits alongside other factors.

What do you want to see on the next version of PD?

Altcoins?
PVP/Multiplayer?
Improved livestats/graphs?

Suggest here
Definetely altcoins. This should reduce the tx fees for all parties and strongens customer engagement.
A multiplayer part sounds funny as hell; though i think the development should take its time. What about an expert mode with a bunch of new functions for the autobot?

Hey stunna, nice to see you always looking for suggestions from the community.

As if enough people haven't already said, it would be really awesome if you incorporate altcoin gambling. I almost no more gamble on PD because of the high bitcoin transaction fees.
Would be nice to gamble some of my LTCs on my favorite gambling website.

Also, PVP would be nice but i wonder how would you make it provably fair, anyways i expect a good solution from PD.

I think you already have in mind of improving the livestats, so go ahead!

Out of above all, altcoin gambling is what i would appreciate the most.

I agree with the part about adding more alts. I think at least LTC should be added. I don't know how the developers feel about BCash.

Basically after it got listed on Coinbase, it got a bad rap and upset many people.

The Provably fair for PVP would be exactly the same. However you would have 2 hashed seeds and after the bet is done you would be shown the unhashed seeds to verify if the bet was correct.

As much as I trust PrimeDice, is it possible for PVP to truly be provably fair? I bring this up because of a recent scandal in the CSGO gambling community. Essentially, although each roll is random, the server knows beforehand what the roll will be, so a dishonest website can make sure the house-controlled account is always on the winning side. I don't quite remember how PVP worked on PrimeDice, but is there a way to prove that the house can't exploit this knowledge?

You're completely right. As long as their is an option for the house to be involved in the pot & take it all (Or a major portion), there is currently not many ways to go about making it fair using traditional methods. Smart contracts are changing things, however that gets a little complicated and goes against how users are used to verifying bets.

I don't think they will enable everyone particularly new accounts created. Most likely only old accounts and more active accounts who is quite frequently depositing money to play this dice game. They do not want to lose those active gamblers due to delays in transaction confirmations. But it is good move to tackle these transaction delay issues.

Awesome! but how would you guys be able to do that? aren't you afraid of someone double spending the transaction?

I'd like to see altcoins like ethereum, litecoin, dash or ripple being accepted as payment methods.

So, I can haz altcoinz??

Ripple(xrp) probably won't be accepted by PD( or any other casino). others alts like ETH, LTC, will be on new version of PD. Smiley

Altcoins? Sure, your players will be so happy to see PD accepting altcoins.
PVP/Multiplayer? You had it in the past, but as I remember it was being used by some users to abuse your free money (faucet/giveaway). So you need to have a better system for this one if you are going to relaunch it.
Improved stats/graphs? I do not think it is an urgent thing to do. I would suggest you to work on something else especially the jackpot. Make it automatic please.

MULTIPLAYER
OH GOD PLEASE DO THIS
I mean there are tons of sites, they're more or less cool and all but I've NEVER seen a dice site with multi!!!

That would be a complete unique feature. I don't even see how you could do that and still take a small% for the site but I don't care find a solution THIS is a freaking good idea :3

Multiplayer would be so much fun. And yes, transactions with altcoins would also come handy considering the wait time and the fees.
I agree , PvP/multiplayer would be such an awesome addition into primedice. It would be so much fun because you are playing with other players trying to beat them and get the loots that they have. That will be a great choice if stunna add it. I think the livestats/graphs in the present is good enough for me. Having altcoins too will surely have more impact on primedice because other gamblers are irritated on the transaction period of bitcoin.

Stunna, you should enable/use segwit address(if not already). the fees are cheaper when compared to sending to normal bitcoin address.

Just a reminder you may experience great delays when depositing or withdrawing depending on the transaction fee due to bitcoin network congestion. Bitcoin fees are reaching $40+ Sad we're waiting patiently for lightning and will be adding altcoins in our new version.
I'm exciting about the new version, could you share more info? when it'll be released, which altcoins will be accepted?

Honestly, I really think its about time a casino finally starts accepting USDT for deposits.

I know it has a bad rap because of that one guy on twitter "Bitfinxed-rekt" or something but I think its very useful.

1 month ago or so, bitcoin was $10K, then it was $20K, and now its almost $10K again. Sites really should use something like USDT.

Maybe Primedice can be the first to start the trend and then maybe more sites will do it.

One does not simply accept USD without regulation

Might be possible to lock in on a price once crypto is deposited, though, it will require too much flirting with regulators in order to maintain this without risk.

So, no.
