Sorry for disappearing from you. I've been busy with IRL even though it is inexcusable to be gone like that. Hope everything is good now.

B!z if you are reading this lets resolve this fast since we know 0.25 is not worth an issue not for me and not for you.

Kinda ironic that on his profile it says "Pm me for a quick reply!" now after reading this scam accusation, hehe.

No news from him.

Anyways I dont understand how a person with around 25btc in a wallet can become a 'scammer' for just some BTC 0.25 from me..

So stupid.
Well, it is actually 0.5 btc getting scammed by him. I know him as a trustful and helpful member and don't think he will ever run away with this amount of bitcoin.
Even if he sold his legendary account, it would be worth a lot more than 0.5 btc
Anyways, good luck:)

I left him a negative trust for the time being. Looks like he hasn't been on since mid-September (not sure if he'll ever come back online though) but if the scam accusations against him are ever sorted out I'd be willing to remove the negative trust I left.

Thanks for actually doing something, GP. It'll serve as a warning if b!z has actually gone rogue to those who may have future dealings with him.

What I can't understand is why b!z has gone this way.

I sent him a couple dust transactions with a public note attached. Hopefully he pops in and takes care of this or at least gives an explanation to all of you. Good luck!!!!

Can someone do that of the message, how can I do it from my wallet?

To let him know about this thread?

He last logged in on September 19th and si1verbox opened his thread on September 9th.

He also spent BTC on the address that was sent to him on October 6th, two days ago.

I will wait to see what happens.

I hope b!z check this thread.
seeing as how b1z still clearly has access to their wallet, maybe send him a few small 0.000001 transactions to the 177777iciAzEV7MQoiHgobrgm6dXgFdhMW, then put a link to this thread as a public note on bc.i? i would think that b1z would be intrigued by a few dust transactions and would check them out, and hopefully see the link. just a suggestion, its in no way guaranteed to work.

This is the second thread ive seen on this guy and the same situation in both. Why would he screw his account over .5 total? He could sell a legendary acct for probably at least twice that considering his trust rating.
he hasnt been online in weeks, and i dont think he would have pulled an exit scam for a measly .5 btc considering their activity on the forum; maybe something happened that left him/her unable to access their computer for a while, just my guess. stuff happens in life you know.

What if he did this to a bunch of people? That measly .5 could be a paltry 2-3BTC. I agree though I just do not see B1z doing this on purpose. My assumption is that something is preventing him from logging in (medical / family issue).

To be honest I deleted my PMs some days ago so i dont have anything but I could provide a signed message on the address as a proof. How can I do that from Blockchain wallet?

Thank you.
You could kindly ask an administrator (theymos?) to look into that and maybe restore your messages, as messages never get deleted but only flagged as such.

Though I cannot say whether he'll do this. So, just a suggestion.

Sad to hear your story and hopefully that guy will return your money back, but I doubt he will do that. Just got to move on and accept your losses and give that guy some negative trust ratings which is appropriate in this case. With regards to your question about signed message, just follow these steps:

On blockchain.info wallet

Receive Money -> Addresses (active) -> Actions -> Sign message Wink

-- or --

Receive Money -> Addresses (active) -> Actions -> More Actions -> Verify message

Good luck!

can you provide more proof? like PM screenshot and perhaps a signed message from that address. don't think signed message are necessary but might as well do it.
I'm afraid all of that stuff on the OP are not enough to prove anything.
