I have received a compensation for lost time (haven't been able to verify yet if it is correct) and the equivalent hashpower at hashnest for my hosted miners.

BUT: this is not adequate compensation: the value of the S4 hashpower they gave me is inferior to what I paid for the acquisition and shipping of the miners to be hosted at Umisoo. Furthermore, functionality is reduced, I cannot mine the pools of my choice anymore AND I cannot claim my miners to be sent to me when I choose to.

So overall, they are stealing from us. I am going to talk to a lawyer about this, no way will I accept their offer without protest and I guess anyone else involved should do the same!

I agree with you 100% but unfortunately you will only end up spending a lot of time and money and be no better off. Go read through the ASICMiner thread and see what hose guys are going through so it could have been a lot worse.

I figured out what price I would accept and just dumped the hash (maintenance is already above the 65% mark on S4's) or trade it for some S5 hash, I dumped because personally didn't want anything else to do with them. If they had agreed to ship them back to us we would be out shipping and probably have gotten a very used pos.

Just checked my Hashnest account and all the hasrate and compensation is there. Check your accounts. We should be able to get better payouts with hashnest considering that they have lower maintenance fees.

rec'd no compensation nor hashrates yet, an email today saying my C1 will be converted to 2 x S3 hashrate and they said 2 x S3 hashrate is more profitable than a C1.

Logged into Hashnet today US CST and while my hash isn't there yet the balance I had on Umisoo and then some (compensation) is in my Hashnet wallet. I had emailed Umisoo and Janet again yesterday and they she said the transfer should be complete today or tomorrow.

Logged into Umisoo and my miners are no longer listed under the manage tab. Checked my hashnet account and no listed hash. Hopefully something will happen this week.

I recalled Bitmain unified login and UMISOO local login are 2 different things, I hv both setup as same account id but with different password. If you have no UMISOO local login setup before the outage then....!

I can log in via UMISOO local login not Bitmain login but I can't change the pool conf, stupid Ant likely is now working on the wiring stuff / configurations our miners will soon be gone anyway

I don't have a local login. If you create one, does it give you the option to link it to the Bitmain one?

Just found out suddenly my miners went on-line, 8 are now mining at BTCguild, 1 at BTCchina, 2 at Antpool, rest are missing.
Stupid Ant you powered on my miners and you don't default the settings, what the fucking hell you are doing

Oh wow. Yeah, mine are running now as well. Looks like they started up about 8 hours ago.

I still can't log in though. I've always used BitMain login and I thought maybe it was because they were having problems. Now the login page looks fine, but I get a blank page when it tries to pass back to Umisoo. Anyone else having that problem?

I was considering going with UMISOO contracts through bitmain/hashnest, but it seems reputations are in the air until this is resolved. Waiting for a good outcome on all this mess before I pull the trigger on more risk.

Good idea, still waiting for my compensation and hash 2 weeks and a day now. Will continue to post updates here.

Did anyone have their hashrate transffered to Hashnest yet?

Not yet. I emailed Bitmain and Umisoo yesterday and got an answer from both to have patience transfer is being worked on.

F Patience, how hard could it be?

And now there is some kind of sweep the tomb holiday which shuts everything down for 2 days.

Great i did choose to move out from mining. Bitmain was great at the start but become just another greedy company. with coupons they made move so customers always coming back, miners are mega overpriced and support was fr8 at the beggining, now its BS.

Now so called Umisoo fucked up and where is bitmain? Do you think you will get any compensation?

As far as i remember bitmain is against refuns. probably you will get shitty coupons for candy nothing more.

well, thats how it is with hosting, mining rentals and other BS
